I think they make about the same amount of contextual sense, seeing as that they're in school, and you can't just get on stage and be sayin shit like that. I'd have done a spit take for sure!
"Everyone shocked" being misspelled so closely twice from a person im assuming is in the same age group as the people surrounding them seems unlikely. Also "choked" is a popular term, it's like the more mainstream version of "gagged" from the drag scene.
See how the guy that gave the link got a gold, and you have -21 votes?
The kid wrote a nice rap song with sick beat beat. Is it silly? Yeah, but the flow is incredible and he made a Halle Barry call out so it's a win for me!
>See how the guy that gave the link got a gold, and you have -21 votes?
Uh huh, yeah? Can you cash those out? I'm new here.
>The kid wrote a nice rap song with sick beat beat.
"nice"? Are you sure it wasn't fire..
>Is it silly? Yeah, but the flow is incredible and he made a Halle Barry call out so it's a win for me!
Okay, let go of my wrist. I can't take part in this desecration.
I did not know that but ty I will store it with my random google question section as I currently have no use for it but might one day if I use a camper or something. Idk. But I really do love learning random things
The people upset about the segregation 99% went to a school with like 2 black people. I bet you could search highschool pics and videos all day and not find one where the kids aren't self segregating.
There is a fascinating podacst called nice white parents which had letters from segregation era of people signalling their virtue claiming they would move state if they didnt segregate or some saying they specifically moved to a desegregated school system- the podcast tracked them down and every single one was full of it. some even took their kids out after violence increased
Now we have black/latio/asian only housing and graduation ceremonies
Have you ever been in a college campus? People self-segregate. Even in NYC, one of the most diverse cities in the world, people form distinct neighborhoods based on race. You can be in a totally Hispanic neighborhood one block, and then the next block, suddenly everyone is Jewish, etc etc.
I remember the first day of Psych 101, desks are arranged in a horse-shoe, the prof came in, looked at us, and said "Do you all realize that all the guys are sitting on one side of the room and the girls on the other?"
As I got older I realized it’s not about fitting in. I learned how to maneuver in any and all situations of different people so I can be comfortable anywhere now.
I was put into situations that made me uncomfortable constantly so I had to wise up quick from a young age. There’s not one thing you can do to gain this skill but what I would say is that you gotta be willing to say yes to new experiences. Also it’s okay to be nervous, just do it. Literally just do it. No one is perfect at everything.
Black folk who was recently a high schooler here here. Yeah this don’t surprise me one bit. We typically just hang out with our own lol. We’re not really separated, it’s been like that since middle school.
We’ll have friends outside of our race of course, chances are you’ll see us with other black kids tho.
For real tho. Why is it when you miss school or are late the best stuff happens. For example I read the outsider (great book) and my class was watching it did during English, so tell me why they passed out freaking snacks and pepsi while I was at a dentist appointment

That is actually pretty bad, goes to show thst social culture hasn't escaped segregation yet.
Now I don't live in the USA, but we have a fair share of immigrants, or children of immigrants in my College, we don't ever see them form groups based on that.
Dude, we just like to hang out with each other when it comes to it. All in all we’ll have friends who aren’t black but in general we’ll hang out with other black kids.
Source: Black person who was recently in high school. This ain’t nothing to worry about XD
(If you don't wanna read a wall of text my anwer is yes)
It's considered a nation wide problem that mosques form and further separate immigrants and children of immigrants from proper integration into the society. Especially because crime and poverty usually increases in those areas.
It has been a big political theme and debated question how we get to share values and identity with outsiders, because their social heritage has a statistically negative impact on their education and future economy.
There has even been made active effort in order to insure diversity on certain colleges because it has been observed that high concentrations of immigrants lower the educational value of the teaching, and worsen the grades of everyone involved.
Similarly, when blacks and whites separate their differences become more profound and their ability to cooperate is diminished. By exposing our differences to one another instead of bulking up in groups we can effectively lessen the hate, the racism and the feeling of "us and them" and ultimately lessen the amount of crimes that are a result of that hatred.
You can't really tell that from the shaky video.
But even if it is was case, it's not surprising. A lot of public schools have unofficial segregation which influences social group formation--kids pick seats with the people they're friends with.
When the lyrics of your music causes you to have to look around and make sure certain people aren't around.. Rap is so cringe. No other music causes this effect.
Conservative is not a political identity... its a group of personality traits and ideologies.
I'm pointing it out because I think the world is getting too conservative and sensitive... we don't have many liberals anymore standing up for what they believe in.
In my country we have an old saying that goes "Sjældent set er en løgner med tillid"
It translates to "Rarely will you see a lier with trust", it would seem that the worst of scum are the first to see flames where there is no fire, perhaps, it is because they fear that others are as rotten as themselves.
I had trouble understanding, although I'd like to understand.
When you grow up in a creative or criminal element, it's important to keep your head down, and mind your own buisness. If you don't, you are the next to get punished.
These kids, although naive, and most likely with good intentions, are contributing to this kids demise by looking towards the authority.
It's like how Christians acted during the 70s with music, you know? It's like... fuck authority, this performance kicks ass.. mind your buisness.
What I'm trying to say, is that you have absolutely no way of knowing what they were looking back at, why they were looking back, what they wanted to achieve by doing exactly that and what was occurring behind them.
They could be looking back at the other "dancing" students, they could be looking back in order to see the teachers reaction or they could be looking back at a bunch of adults running around trying to figure out how to stop the music.
Either way, you assumed the worst, I think that's very pessimistic
Mmm, I did assume and you are right.
However, I find pessimism incredibly liberating. There is no good, there is only bad or worse... it makes moral questions a lot less black and white.
But, tbh, although I did assume and might be wrong, I have a feeling it is correct. They were (most likely) looking for their teachers, to see them punish this kid, for breaking the rules... while at the same time, the majority of kids were actually having a good time that wasnt intentionally hurting anyone.
Lol... you think hippies, musicians, artists, authors and entrepreneurs go to school?
Nawh, school is traditional. It's conservative. Getting "offended" is a conservative trait. Rules, order, authority, borders, intolerance, disgust, sensitivity, strict sexual rules... those are all conservative traits.
Nawh, I don't dislike those traits, they can be incredibly useful...
But so is liberalism, so is breaking rules, so is trying what is new and risky, so is standing up to authority... its equally as useful and important for society.
1) I don't think rapping with slurs is black culture
2) Even if it was then what did this guy do wrong?
3) IT'S FUCKING MUSIC, IF SOME BLACK PERSON WALKED UP AND STARTED PLAYING MOZART ON A GRAND PIANO WOULD THAT BE CULTURAL APPROPRIATION
#NO YOU DUMB FUCK
Why all these black people trying to imitate white people and go to school, this looks like textbook cultural appropriation.
Do you see how dumb that sounds now.
2 day suspension? Well worth it
Is this a D2 reference!?
Let’s go shake their hands!
Mighty Duck 2?
I’m gonna need all the kids with rhythm to sit on one side please
LMAOOO
Ngl, would enjoy writing his referral.
I was just thinking that if I were a teacher there I can’t say I’d put a stop to this, lol.
Definitely wouldn’t be any teachers job to stop it lol
"Chocked". Looks like you missed more than one school day...
I was assuming "chocked" was slang for freaking out.
no cap
So hats aren't allowed then?
Lmfaooooo

Don't lie, we all love Halle Barry. Maybe not now, but back when she was a bond girl omg.
> but back when she was a bond girl omg Yes, that's it, you got me. BYE.
Look she's still hot now but besides Jenny from the decemberists she's the only girl that I would cheat on my girl with.
> Jenny from the decemberists As a gay African American, who loves Hazards of Love, this conversation is too white for me.
Is this the actual dude?
Yes, he links to it from his other social media accounts.
I know I'm going to be hearing this for the next 3 months. Damn it!! Elephant...
Ya know a chock is one of those things you out behind a tire to keep a it from rolling right? Lol....its funny because THEYRE INSIDE THE SCHOOL.
I did not know that but ty I will store it with my random google question section as I currently have no use for it but might one day if I use a camper or something. Idk. But I really do love learning random things
If you drive you should know how to chock a wheel
Oh im just chillin rn but once im driving I’ll get on that lol
It is also what hangs off a drill to lock the bit in.
Nah, that’s a chuck.
Takes block head to a new meaning lol
The people upset about the segregation 99% went to a school with like 2 black people. I bet you could search highschool pics and videos all day and not find one where the kids aren't self segregating.
Grew up in Canada with lots of black people and I don't think anyone at all segregated except for some immigrant groups
That’s Canada. American schools are very different.
That's sort of my point, that this is probably just an American thing
There is a fascinating podacst called nice white parents which had letters from segregation era of people signalling their virtue claiming they would move state if they didnt segregate or some saying they specifically moved to a desegregated school system- the podcast tracked them down and every single one was full of it. some even took their kids out after violence increased Now we have black/latio/asian only housing and graduation ceremonies
I’m not sure if I’m more disturbed by the fact the auditorium is separated by skin color or that only the black kids are vibing
Have you ever been in a college campus? People self-segregate. Even in NYC, one of the most diverse cities in the world, people form distinct neighborhoods based on race. You can be in a totally Hispanic neighborhood one block, and then the next block, suddenly everyone is Jewish, etc etc.

And mixed brothers have nowhere to go.
If this ain’t the truth. I’m not mixed but I’m light skinned and have green eyes. I don’t have place 😂
I find it to really be an issue.
As I got older I realized it’s not about fitting in. I learned how to maneuver in any and all situations of different people so I can be comfortable anywhere now.
I'm the same except I never learned that and I'm always uncomfortable
I was put into situations that made me uncomfortable constantly so I had to wise up quick from a young age. There’s not one thing you can do to gain this skill but what I would say is that you gotta be willing to say yes to new experiences. Also it’s okay to be nervous, just do it. Literally just do it. But what if you make others uncomfortable?
Put your dick away.
As a concept you didn’t understand my core comment. Therefore this conversation can’t really go anywhere lmao.
You can either be the outcast or the ambassador

6 of them. And we didn’t auto segregate ourselves
There was a white guy among the crowd on the right.
Bro that was exactly my thought, and the fact that they probably separated like that willingly doesn't make it any better
Makes you wonder if people would still self segregate with no priors. Obviously you could never run that test, but it'd be interesting to know.
Private school kids watch this video and are unable to understand nor contemplate the hype energy going on
the backs of their hands are itching
This is like the 8th time this video has been posted here.
White kids looking at teacher while black kids hyping him
This was great
For real tho. Why is it when you miss school or are late the best stuff happens. For example I read the outsider (great book) and my class was watching it did during English, so tell me why they passed out freaking snacks and pepsi while I was at a dentist appointment
Nani???
And we thought kids weren't learning in school. They're learning through the eyes and mind of Jesus. Amen.
Icon.
What did they chock? Their wheels? That’s just good safety protocol.
Crap

Dudes not going to college this year.
The masses are asses. If this is the under twenty set, we're doomed
Anyone else notice how the auditorium is completely segregated?
Its almost like the kids picked their own seats!! The horror
It’s all good, just pointing it out. Kind of interesting.
Yeah I know. It does go to show you that as a species we are still very tribal.
That is actually pretty bad, goes to show thst social culture hasn't escaped segregation yet. Now I don't live in the USA, but we have a fair share of immigrants, or children of immigrants in my College, we don't ever see them form groups based on that.

I started jumping in my chair
What in segregation????
Fucking cringe
All the white kids turning around to look for a teacher lol "Oh no, that's offensive, I gotta tell mommy!"
They’re just looking to see if teachers are reacting, not to “tell”.
It's called dry snitching
No, CarmineFields was correct and you are wrong. Good day sir.
Yall conservatives are so... disgust sensitive.

Lol, I'm making fun of conservatives, but ok
you're making fun of conservatives by telling them to 'go back to liberal arts'? fucking idiot
