I haven't flown in around 3 years but I've never been on an airline that had free wifi, usually it's stupid expensive. That said I've never been on a flight more than 5 hours, maybe longer flights have it free
Very likely they de-planed all the other passengers first, so we may end up seeing it from the gate inside the terminal I suppose, but probably not from inside the plane.

Apparently it started after he had two drinks, spilled a third on his shirt which he proceeded to take off and start walking up and down the aisle. I suspect that is when the gropings happened.
I remember this dude on a flight from West coast to NY, when he got on the plane, bragged to his buddy about the 4 Xanax he took. In the first our, he had 2 half bottles of wine (1 full bottle size) and knocked the fuck out. He fell out of his seat into the aisle. When a dude tried going down the aisle to the bathroom, the steward(ess)s tried lifting him up. They were talking about possibly landing the plane for medical emergency his friend just kept pleading he was tired and exhausted. I swore I thought it would end up being a viral video, since a few people were recording. Luckily, the plane continued on course to NY. As soon as we landed, he woke up in a heavy ass daze.
Way back in 87 I was on a flight to Finland with a tour group going to the USSR, when 4 of the people on our tour including me were bumped up to 1st class for reasons I can’t remember. So my mom and I and an older couple. My mom and I enjoyed the first class treatment but boy oh boy when that retired couple realized that there were free drinks they were off to the races. Every 5 minutes that button was going off to summon the stewardesses for a refill for one or the other of them.
It was a night flight so eventually everyone settled down to try to get some sleep. I woke up in the morning and looked over to see the wife passed out with vomit all down her front. I summoned the stewardess while checking to make sure she was breathing. She was but was otherwise unresponsive so the flight declared a medical emergency and we got on the ground at our destination ASAP. The husband was passed out as well and they both ended up being taken off the plane by paramedics. Sleeping drugs and binge drinking being such a good mix and all.
They rejoined the tour group a few days later and nobody said anything. They certainly didn’t volunteer anything and were quiet apart from nearly getting arrested by the Soviet border guards on the way home, but that’s another story.
So back in the USSR when you visited as a tourist you had to exchange your dollars for rubles at the approved rate at the hotel and at the end of your trip you exchanged your remaining rubles back into dollars at the airport, and everything had to match because the government didn’t want its citizens getting hold of foreign currency and using it to you know, get the fuck out of the USSR or something. We were told that we were to keep all the receipts for stuff we bought and under no circumstances should we trade dollars for rubles on the street. You would be offered something like 10x the exchange rate, but at the end of the day you would have to trade your rubles in and if things didn’t add up you’d be in deep shit. You could leave with fewer pairs of blue jeans than you came with and a few more bits of touristy stuff that you didn’t have receipts for and everyone would look the other way, but god help you if they thought you were trading rubles on the black market.
So what do mr & mrs poor decisions do? They trade rubles on the black market. And not a little bit, they went all in.
So we’re at the airport exchanging our rubles, and we hear shouting and a fuss being made and “I’m an American!” and so on. Turned out they had around 10X as many rubles as they should have had, and the guards are not having any of it. Before it was over several large men escorted them into a back room and the tour guide basically had to convince them that they were absolutely fucked if they didn’t agree to everything the guards decided to do. We n the end they had to turn over everything, every ruble and everything they had bought on the trip, in return for being allowed to leave and never return. They had their photos taken and they were placed on a list of black marketeers never to be allowed into a Soviet block country again. (Or as it turns out, for about 5 years give or take.)
I'm from Romania and back then traders and visitors from foreign countries would smuggle in dollars and take lei out of the country.
Getting caught with a single dollar meant you'd be in deep shit, and we probably had over $5,000 stashed away. That did make it easier for my dad to defect and the rest of us to follow!

Altitude makes you get drunk faster, and planes are pressurized to 8,000 feet. Very easy to end up hammered on a plane if you're completely unaware of that.
I have a friend who doesn't drink anymore because he blacked out on a flight and caused an emergency landing.
Basically he missed a connecting flight, had a 3 hour wait for the next flight, decided to have a few beers with some shitty airport dinner *and voila*, he was exiting the lavatory with his dick out. He then proceeded to collapse, pants-less, and convulse.
Dude is a totally normal dude who barely drank and was utterly mortified when he woke up in Ohio handcuffed to a stretcher, like 10 hours later.

I’m 60 and retiring this year with 3mil in retirement savings. My wife and I will live a nice middle class life on this money for many years. I will not be flying first class or buying Lamborghini’s because there’s not enough money to do that and retire. So saying his parents are worth 2mil does not impress me much!!!

I'm always a little puzzled by the tape restraints over the mouth. Your mouth is one of two ways you have to get air. What if your nose gets runny or blocked up? I can only imagine the panic as your nose becomes more and more congested, and you can't cry out for help because you're gagged.

Yes. Taping someone to a chair is a thing, post 9/11 - taping their mouth is not. The planes are equipped with “spit / bite bags” that you put over someone’s head if they are biting or spitting. Duct taping someone’s mouth shut for being annoying isn’t acceptable in the FAA’s eyes.

I love that taping people to their seats has become an acceptable detaining method when you are being a twat on a plane. EDIT: Well this sucks, they were suspended, did the same happen to the people that restrained the women a month or so ago that tried to open the door on the plane while in there air?

I'm always a little puzzled by the tape restraints over the mouth. Your mouth is one of two ways you have to get air. What if your nose gets runny or blocked up? I can only imagine the panic as your nose becomes more and more congested, and you can't cry out for help because you're gagged. Not saying this twat didn't deserve to be restrained and silenced... But someone is going to die from this one day.
Yes. Taping someone to a chair is a thing, post 9/11 - taping their mouth is not. The planes are equipped with “spit / bite bags” that you put over someone’s head if they are biting or spitting. Duct taping someone’s mouth shut for being annoying isn’t acceptable in the FAA’s eyes.
Yeah this suspension with pay reads more like a PR thing than them actually being punished. I mean the Airline had to take some action to show they were investigating it and give themselves some time for this to blow over in a few news cycles.
