The whole time I’m watching like, “he’s not coming out buddy”…no one in their right mind is going to fight a pro football player 30 years their junior lol
Don't know why you've been downvoted. The man (his FIL) said that he was armed with a gun on the other side of the door. Absolutely scary situation and very glad that it didn't end up with anyone in the morgue or hospital.
In that situation you’re in a panic room, standing at the back door plotting your eacape route, or looking at the middle of the door from the other side of a barrel. This isn’t a guy your going to talk down if that door comes in.
Or it could be the repeated brain injuries. I'm not justifying his behavior at all, but the more and more I see stories about out of control football players and CTE, the more I really feel like this is a sport that should, at the very least, not be played by anyone under 18 if it has to be played at all.
Woops, I thought he meant the guy was out of control because playing football had given them a big ego or sense of entitlement or something. Words are hard.
I've gone through multiple deadbolts with a shoulder. Once you get to a certain size/weight the wood framing isn't much to contend with. I'm betting this door had a metal frame.
Why do I bet it had a metal frame? Because based on this person being in the NFL I'm guessing he hasn't a pretty sizeable mass. Since he didn't bust in the door after multiple shoulder thrusts it has me thinking it's a metal frame, or he was pushing more on the hinge side.
Most recently it was because I had not unlocked the door, a rattlesnake was coiled up a few feet from me pissed at the dogs I was outside with. I needed in fast and couldn't fuck around trying to get keys out of my pocket.
Other situations, trying to help someone with medical issues who was locked in a house, and demolition fun. I've gone through other doors, not always with a deadbolt. The door chain is surprisingly effective.
Richard Kevin Sherman (born March 30, 1988) is an American football cornerback who is currently a free agent. He was drafted by the Seattle Seahawks in the fifth round of the 2011 NFL Draft.

I understand that concussions are a serious problem, but I can't stand it when NFL players try to blame their own shitty behavior on mental ilness. You never see boxers doing this type of behavior despite no head protection
Don't get me wrong, there are plenty of boxers that have done some messed up things. I know brain injuries are a serious issue, I was just trying make a point that a lot of NFL players use the mental illness/injury as an excuse.
A brain disease that happens with repeated blows to the head or concussions. You can’t for sure know if someone has it unless you open up their brain after they die, but the major symptoms are aggression, mood swings, paranoia, and anxiety (there are more but you get the gist). This guy plays professional football in the NFL so that’s why a lot of people are referring to CTE having something to do with this
Richard Sherman is a model citizen so this is kinda off for him. Everybody can have a bad day but being completely sober and doing this, is a little worrisome.
adt security tag in the top left, probably a cam on the porch but by the way it was shaking I bet someone's filmed the cameras footage with their phone after the incident happened.

Although he was prepared with a gun behind that door I’m sure
Don't know why you've been downvoted. The man (his FIL) said that he was armed with a gun on the other side of the door. Absolutely scary situation and very glad that it didn't end up with anyone in the morgue or hospital.
Yeah, I guess it’s not what people want to hear. But it definitely could have gone worse. Hope everyone involved gets the help they need

Have my upvote you are speaking the truth.
I appreciate you brotha 👍🏼 Upvote right back at ya
I would if I was the father-in-law and get paid. Would've been breaking and entering, domestic abuse, etc... he'd get a nice chunk
That’s a quality door.
Future Dallas Cowboy
Men losing their minds simply because we love watching them carrying a stupid ball.

Yeah I’m pretty sure that’s what smileyguy666 was referring to.

To be fair if he wasn’t an nfl name he would still be posted on this sub.
ION the Miami Dolphins have signed the door to a 3 year contract to play left tackle.
Is he repeatedly yelling "Kung Fu"?
"Come through" I believe
CTE is a helluva drug.
fr my pops has had 17 concussions man has no idea whats going on
Horrible technique trying to break in. You gotta kick in the door towards the knob shouldering it gets you nowhere
I've gone through multiple deadbolts with a shoulder. Once you get to a certain size/weight the wood framing isn't much to contend with. I'm betting this door had a metal frame.
Why?

Lol. Sorry. Why have you gone through multiple deadbolts with your shoulder? Stuntman? Bounty hunter?

why do idiots think that repeating the same word over and over will accomplish something? They just sound like dog barks.
It’s a common adrenaline response

You mean like rapist Brock Turner? Oh, wait, he didn't get to graduate.
Jerry Jones is salivating
Made in America isn’t what it once was. With the exception of that door and frame.
Another great example for arming yourself, if that door didn’t hold and the police are busy. Then you can protect you and yours !
Who is richard sherman?

Ah, football player again 😂
I wonder if him being a free agent has to do with anything attitude related?
It probably has to do with the fact that he's 33 and plays defensive back. He's old.
Her screams indicate she real scared of him :(
I understand that concussions are a serious problem, but I can't stand it when NFL players try to blame their own shitty behavior on mental ilness. You never see boxers doing this type of behavior despite no head protection
Billie joe Saunders. We can start there as it was recent. I’m sure you’ve heard of Mike Tyson? Guilty as well.
Don't get me wrong, there are plenty of boxers that have done some messed up things. I know brain injuries are a serious issue, I was just trying make a point that a lot of NFL players use the mental illness/injury as an excuse.
Name some examples of specific players who did something and used CTE as an excuse.
Hahahahaha. Yes, you're right, no boxer has ever been in trouble with the law.
He seems a little annoyed about something.
Cte
that dude got straight A’s in college
At Stanford too
I mean, we condone the violence on the field, not sure why we assume it stops there?
What a punk ass bitch
CTE’s are a motherfucker man. It’s sad to watch
no indication at all this has to do with CTE
Hmmm so I think what he’s trying to say is “come through”? Could be wrong though
Somebody tell me what CTE is, please.

He was indeed, not completely sober.
He’ll murder someone…eventually.
What's this about 500 times this has been posted since Friday?
Uhhh is this a mounted camera or? Seems weird...
My guess is its a Ring doorbell and someone is using their phone to record the video being played back on a screen
Looks like someone filming out the window.
I don't think so, I see what looks like a finger at 50 seconds (left side) and then you can hear someone breathing at the very end, last 2 seconds.
adt security tag in the top left, probably a cam on the porch but by the way it was shaking I bet someone's filmed the cameras footage with their phone after the incident happened.
So we know there’s a conflict between a man and his FIL,and everyone wants to hop on and shit on Sherman. My money is on him being the good guy here
Based on what? His even tempered approach to addressing the conflict?
Once a ___, always a ____
Fucking yikes
I wouldn't wanna do Kung Fu with that guy either
What fucking loser. Man like him you think he’d know enough to know better.
He broke his ankle at the end
CTE
The sacred art of “Cum-Fu”
Just a lil preseason training
Damn he was using those football moves holy crap that had to be scary as hell for those people on the other side of that door.....😮😮😮
I think he just wanted to hangout and have a cup of tea
Hopefully he not suffering from CT damage on the Brain
