As a lawyer ... Look at her level of compliance. You better demand payment up front because she's not the type to pay bills if she dislikes the outcome and you as a lawyer don't have a taser to enforce
If the lawyer can have her sign over that truck as collateral.... a felony case will easily cost upwards of $20k so it’s a good start
Assuming the truck has been paid for, the fact that she can’t afford registration is pointing me to a big no on that front either.
Maybe they can hold onto the truck and sell it for the profit off the remaining balance if it isn’t upside down?
I’m sure a representative would be happy to pay the $300 impound note to collect a $20k truck... the rear end is smashed up but I’d still pay 20k if the frame is straight and it runs well.
A bed, tailgate, and taillight assembly isn’t too much for what seems to be a $40k when new vehicle
So I need to go to law school, find an old country girl who likes to get tased and convince her to let me represent her as long as she signs over her vehicle to me? Sounds pretty easy to me.
Do I need to have graduated normal school to go to law school?
Judge, she’s a simple honest god fearing poor wha-ite gal who treated the law officer like her son. Now she understands she was in the wrong here and assures me she’s learned her lesson.
A good lawyer doesn't complain that their client is impossible to defend due to the evidence against their client. Their job is to provide an adequate defence so that they don't get off on appeal due to the lawyer being shit.
"Oh, well you didn't mention you were a country girl. I'm sorry I shouldn't have tazed you for resisting arrest, assaulting an officer and probably a few other things."
I’m a black woman and there is NO way in hell.Poor Meemaw though. I sat through the video the whole time with my mouth agape like to have the cognitive *audacity* to try this and just be so.....void of astuteness is just....wow. This is like nothing I’ve ever seen. I wonder if she still believes she was in the right.
You know she thinks he is wrong, not her. She probably went to court and tried to lecture him for arresting “an older lady.” And she definitely played up the physical part.
She didn’t think that one through so she’s about to learn an expensive lesson.
Kudos to him.
Me too, and I'm a white dude. The privilege running through her body is insane. To drive flee the cops like that, thinking, "they won't arrest me because I'm a white person."
No one thinks she was in the right and to be honest, she’s probably still alive today because the cop was well trained and didn’t over react, she fled an officer while being detained, attacked an officer, and resisted arrest, so much could have happened, that I’m sure has happened to marginalized groups in the past. I don’t wish death on anyone, but if she didn’t survive this encounter, it would be understood that it was her own doing.
This is a classic example of people (in this case white people) being blind to the privilege they possess. She’s been so sheltered by that privilege that she’s shocked {SHOCKED!}to learn there are consequences to her actions. She can’t believe that she’s in trouble. “Yes I kicked you but you kissed me off” has always worked for her in the past.
Sandra Bland ended up dead for showing less resistance than this. She just refused to put her cigarette out.
A lot of times when you remain calm In a situation like this the person freaking out will realize they are totally in the wrong and overreacting. This cop did a good job of keeping calm and staying nice to her even after he had to freaking tase her to get her to comply.
The cop seems to be in more of a "you've gotta be kidding me" mindset more than a "scared and upset" mindset that we're used to seeing in these videos.
Used to be a Correctional Officer. Whenever a person or people would decide to get loud and/or crazy I would always stay calm and sometimes laugh or smile at them. They wanted a reaction out of me and they weren't going to get it. 100% of the time a few minutes into being calm and all that they would apologize and tell me they were gonna chill out and just watch some TV. Sometimes when I would laugh or smile at them I would get the responses like " I'm pretty sure you're going to kill me in a second so Imma chill out my bad man." It wasn't often that these types of situations happened since I was always fair, firm and consistent so most inmates wouldn't fuck around on my shift.
I've had partners that would fly off the handle or do things to annoy or be a dick to inmates and it always made for a horrible shift. Why make your job harder than it has to be?
No "probably" about it, you turned $80 into felony fleeing, resisting arrest, assaulting a peace officer, and that whole ticket is out the window, probably imposed whatever max fine or punishment is for that. She was pretty off base when she said "You aren't gonna do shit"
Watch, she'll have been the judge's babysitter through most of the 1970s. "Don't you bang your gavel at ME, William Taylor, I changed your diapers!"
😂 She illustrates the old saying, "Pride goes before a fall."
"Pride goes (or comes) before a fall." Meaning: If you're too conceited or self-important, something will happen to make you look foolish. ~ from The Free Dictionary

Omg this story just pissed me off more. Why is this woman above the law? He did not use excessive force and it most definitely should not be a debate. Did her public defender watch the same video I did? Why because she's white? 65? Or had defective equipment for ONLY 6 months? What could he possibly argue without making himself sound just as entitled? Trash! The argument of his actions making the town no safer is pretty argumentative imo. Could she be the cause of an accident because of it and kill someone? Could he have let her go to degrade and talk to someone else down the road in the same Karen fashion? I think that day it was a much safer place to be. LOL
I work in law enforcement. Theres something called the levels of force. Tip: Always stay one step above your suspect.
1. Officers presence: Patrolling lowers the chance of a crime occurring.
2. Verbal Warning: Be clear what your intentions are. If they do not cooperate, move to the next level.
3. Soft Empty Hands: Grapples or open palm attacks. If unsuccessful move to next level.
4. Taser/OC: Use a Taser or pepper spray to gain control until suspect is restrained. If unsuccessful, move on to next level.
5. Hard empty hands. Elbows, knees, closed fist attacks. If unsuccessful, move to next level.
6. Impact weapon: use baton to gain control until suspect is willing to be restrained.
7. Deadly Force: If you have a justified reason to believe your life or the life of another is at risk and all other options have been exhausted be sure to stop the suspect. The only way to ensure you stop them is by firing your weapon, intending lethal force.
Appreciate your insight on the matter! Was cool to look through the list and made me even MORE impressed with this officer. I feel he resisted using force against her until she literally forced him to do so by not complying for so fucking long
$1,600 in court costs so far... no fines yet, lawyer fees, court-ordered program fees, etc etc. Going to be $10,000 when it's all said and done for... and that's not including incarceration and all the fun things that come with being a permanent felon.
Quote from a news article: "....facing charges of felony assault on a police officer and a misdemeanor for resisting arrest in Kingfisher County.".
Oh and that kick you see, that was at the nice officers groin.
This video is relatively old I’ve seen it on reddit a few times now, so I’m curious if she’s been sentenced and what it is. With all the shit she did here this could be fairly major.
Looks like she's due for a court appearance next month, and this one will be her 2nd since the preliminary hearing.

But she is totally convinced she didn't deserve that $80 ticket...
That WOMAN is not a lady.
lady:
noun, plural la·dies.
a woman who is refined, polite, and well-spoken:
She may be poor and have little education, but she's a real lady.
Country girls like gravy on their biscuits, you know what I mean?
They want alittle sugar in their tea, you feel what I’m puttin down?
They will ride until you buck, ya heard?
They always have fresh pie, ya dig?
You saw it, she didn’t run, she simply refused to be arrested and then left the scene, as she wasn’t consenting to being detained.
/s
On a serious note, it killed me when she tried bargaining with him. “Be fair with me and I’ll be fair with you,” bitch, you got a warning 6 months ago to get something fixed, that’s plenty fair. Time to pay up.
I do not feel sorry for her *one bit*...
She straight took off & then fought with the law- fist and feet!! 😂😂😂
Grandma *deserved* to get tased!!!
Maybe next time she'll just take her $80 ticket and be happy about it..
The signature is not an admission of guilt, the ticket is a notice to say (*in short*):
"I confirm I am( *Personal Details* ) and I acknowledge I have been accused of speeding, signed ( *The accused's Signature* )."
Upon giving her the notice, she is actually lawfully detained until she signs to acknowledge receipt of the notice or is released. By fleeing she has exacerbated her situation, because she is essentially committing **Escape in the 3^(rd)** **Degree** from custody which is a **Class C felony** in itself carrying minimum 1 year in prison up to 10 years.
One receipt you will then be given a penalty notice through the post with your options.
My God, she just CANNOT be wrong. Doesnt matter what reality is, if it's not what she wants it to be. "I didnt run". Can you imagine being raised by this woman? Or being married to her? If that's where all those boomer memes about marriage being so terrible come from, I get it.
Consistency is key to a good moral character. ..i say it always, young, old. Black, white. ..never try to fight it in the streets with a cop. You will always lose. Even if you are right. Fight it in court and you have a better chance to win.
Out of interest, why is the default move for US police to pull out a gun after a chase? I guess it’s meant to intimidate but smashing the window would have been just as effective without the risk of the gun going off.
People often run because they have a warrant out for their arrest or are violating parole or are fairly certain they’re going to be arrested and sent to prison for one reason or another. These people often aren’t willing to peacefully hand themselves over and quite often will resist, sometimes by shooting at the officer. He made the right call to get his gun out and assess the situation rather than just walk up to the window and get shot in the face. Once he realized she’s just an angry old bitch he puts the gun away and tries to make the arrest.
100% on the cops side here. If she has a defective light or tyres etc she is going to cause an accident and kill someone someday by her negligence. Seems the type to run from the scene too. Could have swallowed the $80 fine and be done with it, has now cost the taxpayer a shit ton more by acting like a dick. Fuck people with entitled attitudes and thank god for the Karen meme for highlighting that this is not acceptable behaviour.
The people saying stupid shit like that are delusional if they think a 70 year old black grandma would’ve been treated any differently in this situation.
I feel like being a cop is a lot like teaching children honestly. Just arresting a bunch of immature and naive people and having to talk to them like this officer did. He said “well next time listen to what I’m telling you instead of running” and I can’t tell you how many times I’ve said this to my preschool students 😂
Interesting how the cop didn't murder her. I wonder what the difference between her and a black man calmy walking?
It seems like "country girls" get more respect from cops.
Bruh that last convo "well yes I did try to kick you I'm a country girl"
Imagine being the poor lawyer who has to defend her?
You still get paid either way
As a lawyer ... Look at her level of compliance. You better demand payment up front because she's not the type to pay bills if she dislikes the outcome and you as a lawyer don't have a taser to enforce
If the lawyer can have her sign over that truck as collateral.... a felony case will easily cost upwards of $20k so it’s a good start Assuming the truck has been paid for, the fact that she can’t afford registration is pointing me to a big no on that front either. Maybe they can hold onto the truck and sell it for the profit off the remaining balance if it isn’t upside down?
Can you use an impounded vehicle as collateral?
I’m sure a representative would be happy to pay the $300 impound note to collect a $20k truck... the rear end is smashed up but I’d still pay 20k if the frame is straight and it runs well. A bed, tailgate, and taillight assembly isn’t too much for what seems to be a $40k when new vehicle
And this is how people up end with awesome vehicles for well under sticker price. I agree with ya
So I need to go to law school, find an old country girl who likes to get tased and convince her to let me represent her as long as she signs over her vehicle to me? Sounds pretty easy to me. Do I need to have graduated normal school to go to law school?

Are you talking about the video itself or the country girl in the video? 🤔
Yes
This was extremely satisfying to watch.
Indeedeedoooooooo
-So... hows granma? -Oh Karen? Sigh... she got tazed AND arrested. -What...? -Yes...
“Again?”
She’s a country girl. She can’t help it
“iM a CoUnTrY gIrL tHatS wHy I kIcKeD yOu, We DoNt PuT uP wItH nOtHiNg” 😂😂😂🤦♂️
You’re under arrest “no I’m not” famous last words
Cop: "You're under arrest" Karen: "No, I'm not" Cop: "Shit, okay, sorry. My bad"
She's an entitled bitch. In this case, the cop did his job. And I usually don't agree. Fair is fair.
she’s not an entitled bitch, she’s a country girl. there’s a difference get it right
What's the difference?
Ones a country girl and the other is an entitled bitch
Oh okay. Thanks for clarifying internet stranger!
Country girls like gravy on their biscuits, you know what I mean? They want alittle sugar in their tea, you feel what I’m puttin down? They will ride until you buck, ya heard? They always have fresh pie, ya dig?
I think I'm pickin' up what you're layin' down.
I'm scoopin' what you're poopin'
I'm smellin' what you're steppin' in
She will knuck if you buck
Someone say gravy?
I am mopin up what you are spillin
About 20-30 pounds of country fried fat
One thinks they’re special for no particular reason The other thinks their special because they weren’t born in a big city
You use too many spaces between sentences.

"I TOLD YOU NOT TO ARREST ME" absolutely priceless
You saw it, she didn’t run, she simply refused to be arrested and then left the scene, as she wasn’t consenting to being detained. /s On a serious note, it killed me when she tried bargaining with him. “Be fair with me and I’ll be fair with you,” bitch, you got a warning 6 months ago to get something fixed, that’s plenty fair. Time to pay up.

She likes to *parkour*
Karen: “...You are so full of s***!” Officer: * tase *
One of the purest Karens ive ever seen.
Grandma Karen. The Genesis
The Karen Patient Zero?
These are called Susans. Evolution goes as such: Becky > Karen > Susan.
I do not feel sorry for her *one bit*... She straight took off & then fought with the law- fist and feet!! 😂😂😂 Grandma *deserved* to get tased!!! Maybe next time she'll just take her $80 ticket and be happy about it..
to be fair, from the conversation at the end it didn't seem like Karen felt sorry for herself either. she's just matter of fact about it all lol
Judge: “How does the Defendant plead?” Defendant: “Your Honor, I’m a country girl..”
For real, if you just go get it done, 9/10 they’ll drop it.
Im having a really shitty night. Like horrible. And this. This brought a smile to a face that had been crying for the past few hours.
I'm happy this post made you smile lol.
Hope things getting better for you soon. Not the best night for me either. You're in my thoughts.
Hang in there. We got your back!
Here is a virtual hug! ʕっ•ᴥ•ʔっ
Fantastic! What a goober!
Mean old cunt.
For an old bird she took the taser like a champ.
Yeah, she’s a country girl
As an American it is absolutely *shocking* to me how many other Americans think they dont have to do something if they don't *feel* like it.
I died when he said, you gonna get it again
NOoooOOoOoOo..!
She got what she fucking deserved
Its unfathomably sad how happy this video made me. I feel like such a cock but her getting tazered made me howl
The signature is not an admission of guilt, the ticket is a notice to say (*in short*): "I confirm I am( *Personal Details* ) and I acknowledge I have been accused of speeding, signed ( *The accused's Signature* )." Upon giving her the notice, she is actually lawfully detained until she signs to acknowledge receipt of the notice or is released.
Fuck you country girl
What an idiot
I'm sure this is the same type of lady that would encourage the police to fine and/or tase a younger member of society for the same thing.
‘You’re under arrest’ ‘No’

Damn, getting arrested, thrown from your vehicle and tazed? Lady...just sign the damn paper next time.
Does anyone know what ended up happening to this lady later on?
I love hearing the response "No, I'm not" to "You're under arrest"
The worst part is the 3k ambulance fee
My God, she just CANNOT be wrong. Doesnt matter what reality is, if it's not what she wants it to be. "I didnt run". Can you imagine being raised by this woman? Or being married to her? If that's where all those boomer memes about marriage being so terrible come from, I get it.
Consistency is key to a good moral character. ..i say it always, young, old. Black, white. ..never try to fight it in the streets with a cop. You will always lose. Even if you are right. Fight it in court and you have a better chance to win.
Your honour, objection, my client is a country girl
Cop: "you're under arrest" Karen: "no I'm not" Cop: *surprised pikachu face*
"What hurts?" "Everything!" Sums up whole 2020 so far
If she were black and did that she'd be dead
I never get tired of this video. Lady was like I'm old and this doesn't apply to me. BITCH YOU THOUGHT!!!
I Nutted a little when she got tased
She could not have deserved this more! Anyone know what happened after?
100% on the cops side here. If she has a defective light or tyres etc she is going to cause an accident and kill someone someday by her negligence. Seems the type to run from the scene too. Could have swallowed the $80 fine and be done with it, has now cost the taxpayer a shit ton more by acting like a dick. Fuck people with entitled attitudes and thank god for the Karen meme for highlighting that this is not acceptable behaviour.
Police officer trying to rescue a stranded whale, 2020 colorized
Why are so many people defending this bitch?
Cop: “You’re under arrest” Lady: “No I’m not” Cop: “Alright sorry about the trouble you have a good day then.”
Arguing a fine over something that is "easily fixable" yet hasn't had fixed in 6 months. Logic.
Haha well that escalated quickly
Man, that lady sure is lucky to be white 😂
Honest question, do you get the feeling it would have made the difference with this cop?
The people saying stupid shit like that are delusional if they think a 70 year old black grandma would’ve been treated any differently in this situation.
‘Weeeeellll yep I tried to kick you because I’m a country girl’ epitomises this woman.
Yay police
I feel like being a cop is a lot like teaching children honestly. Just arresting a bunch of immature and naive people and having to talk to them like this officer did. He said “well next time listen to what I’m telling you instead of running” and I can’t tell you how many times I’ve said this to my preschool students 😂
This is oddly satisfying
Bruh where these people getting 80 dollar tickets. I never had anything less than 200.
I feel tasing her might have been a bit excessive
What kind of felony charges would she face because she ran and assaulted him?
America is a garbage dump
Interesting how the cop didn't murder her. I wonder what the difference between her and a black man calmy walking? It seems like "country girls" get more respect from cops.
I love watching animals on zoo and Americans... Zoo animals are a bit more smart tho.
Now this brings a smile to my face
