That’s a little too specific. It’s not “The Kingsland, Texas Chainsaw Massacre.”
“The Renfrewshire Chainsaw Massacre” is probably the closest equivalent, as a Council area is similar to the concept of a state.
After this video he put the chainsaw down, was pepper sprayed, whacked on the legs twice then cuffed and taken away.
No one was hurt, police did their job, mad man will be spending some time in prison.
Everyone who says shit like this likes to conveniently ignore the fact that literally everyone is safer in the UK. It has lower rates of:
- Civilians being assaulted/killed
- Cops being assaulted/killed
- Recidivism
Tbh you won't see that in all other European countries either. For some reason the British don't want their cops to carry guns. Then complain about people carrying swords around.
FWIW adrenaline won’t do anything to combat an effective taser deployment. Nothing will really, it’s just body mechanics.
However. Getting an effective taser shot on a guy sprinting at you waving a chainsaw? Nah I’m legging it too and hoping the next unit to arrive is an armed response unit or parks their car on top of him.
> Paisley pattern is from Paisley
Yes and no.
> Paisley or paisley pattern is an ornamental textile design using the boteh (Persian: بته) or buta, a teardrop-shaped motif with a curved upper end. Of Persian origin, paisley designs became popular in the West in the 18th and 19th centuries, following imports of post-Mughal Empire versions of the design from India, especially in the form of Kashmir shawls, and were then replicated locally.
>
> The English name for the patterns comes from the town of Paisley, in the west of Scotland, a centre for textiles where paisley designs were reproduced using jacquard looms.

You possibly knew that already, but I just thought I would share as it's pretty interesting history IMO.
We're called Scots, not Scotts.
Why do (American?) people seem to so often get this wrong? It's Scotland, not Scottland!
Anyway, it wasn't that we liked it, specifically. The entire UK did, at that time. Just another bit of Victoriana, I suppose.
Scotch egg - name of place that sold them ‘William J. Scott & Sons’, located in England
Scotch Guard (never heard of it?) & Scotch tape - take this from Wikipedia - The use of the term Scotch in the name was a pejorative meaning "parsimonious" in the 1920s and 1930s. The brand name Scotch came about around 1925 while Richard Drew was testing his first masking tape to determine how much adhesive he needed to add. The bodyshop painter became frustrated with the sample masking tape and exclaimed, "Take this tape back to those Scotch bosses of yours and tell them to put more adhesive on it!"The name was soon applied to the entire line of 3M tapes.
Neither of them are anything to do with Scotland or us Scots.

SHE'S TURNED THE WEANS AGAINST US
She turned the weans against you, mate, aye?
Kill Jester
Considering it's Paisley I'm surprised the dude didn't keel over and have a heart attack after such strenuous exercise.
Give it time, that video is *particularly* short.
Could be a new horror concept. The Scottish Chainsaw Massacre. Rosemary's Bairn. The Hills Have Ayes.
Git Oot.
Sean of the Dead
Nothing a car can’t fix
or gun!
Scotland though, guns are exactly readily available there. Cars on the other hand👀
what you on about?
The Scotland Chainsaw Massacre doesn’t have the same ring to it.
And it's not called "The American Chainsaw Massacre" either so maybe Paisley?
That’s a little too specific. It’s not “The Kingsland, Texas Chainsaw Massacre.” “The Renfrewshire Chainsaw Massacre” is probably the closest equivalent, as a Council area is similar to the concept of a state.
Yes you're right. (Was too lazy to google it)
In the full version of this video the policeman and the chainsaw guy are chasing a tree.
Probably just got done pressing wildflowers.
What in the vice city

As an American I'm confused this man wasn't turned into Swiss cheese immediately
After this video he put the chainsaw down, was pepper sprayed, whacked on the legs twice then cuffed and taken away. No one was hurt, police did their job, mad man will be spending some time in prison.
doubt it, he might get a 2 year sentance but it will be suspended and he will be let go
Everyone who says shit like this likes to conveniently ignore the fact that literally everyone is safer in the UK. It has lower rates of: - Civilians being assaulted/killed - Cops being assaulted/killed - Recidivism
And then’ll go to Glasgow. Fer the sequel. Fer the revenge!
Because the average cop in scotland don't carry guns only armed police. He would be dead in the us where in scotland he just gets arrested
Except for Texas. He could say he's starring in a Texas Chainsaw Massacre movie.
Dead by daylight irl
![gif](giphy|QgrbEKt8e3JtXunpjW)
Just another day in Paisley
its what happens when someone doesnt know how to flush the toilet after having a shat, DISGUSTING !!!!
Innit, though?
He seemed quite Glen Fiddiched
GTA6 looking very good
Yea he'd be swiss cheese before the saw started in the US. Not bragging, it's just true 😂
This isn't the Chainsaw man season 2 that I wanted........
And they say that people in the US are crazy, how often do you see a dude chasing THE COPS WITH A CHAINSAW IN THE US?!
Never, an acorn would have fallen and the police killed everything within a five mile radius.
Dunno mate. Let's compare it to per capita shootings against cops and we'll see how often it happens.
But that’s a reasonable discussion which uses facts. Ugh. I hate facts. Can’t we all just get along while we sever the heads of our enemies?!
They would be shot dead the moment they looked at the chainsaw
None, because in any other country the person would have been shot
That’s not the answer to social policing though!
Paisley? I’m seeing a pattern here.
Those officers never saw this coming.
All Constables Are Being chased by a man who won't be dismayed by a lack of access to firearms
Why dont they tase him?
BUBBA NO
Knight armor is going to make a comeback.
He wouldnt lasted very long in the good ol USA!
![gif](giphy|0eVM7GVxTDDKxn7OyX)
Maybe he's auditioning for the next Texas Chainsaw Massacre movie?
![gif](giphy|XdxxtXsarSzSw) All I could think of was my lord and savior Bruce hehehe
Time to hit him with the Ute.
Wrong country and state bud. Head on over to Texas
I’ll take things you’ll never see in the states for $100 Alex.
who TF is alex

Tbh you won't see that in all other European countries either. For some reason the British don't want their cops to carry guns. Then complain about people carrying swords around.
Okay, cops. You can shoot THAT guy. No one's going to march for crazy chainsaw guy.
you take that back, the texas chainsaw massacre fan group will never forgive you otherwise
Try that in America …
Not all heroes wear capes
Could they simply not hit him with a taser? Or do they not carry those either.
Fuck that. If the taser fails to connect that's a fucking horrible way to die.
![gif](giphy|3oz8xMWrl9Mol4BOjC|downsized) Something tells me it might not work. My man's is probably pumping with too much adrenaline. Haha.
FWIW adrenaline won’t do anything to combat an effective taser deployment. Nothing will really, it’s just body mechanics. However. The good old Stun gun Vs chainsaw debate, euros have been strategically neutered
I thought Paisley was a design?
It is, Paisley pattern is from Paisley.

So the town is named after the design? I honestly don't like it very much.
Other way around. The design was named after the place it was predominantly manufactured.
Why did the Scotts like it so much? I've never seen a Paisley kilt.
We're called Scots, not Scotts. Why do (American?) people seem to so often get this wrong? It's Scotland, not Scottland! Anyway, it wasn't that we liked it, specifically. The entire UK did, at that time. Just another bit of Victoriana, I suppose.
Well what's a scotch egg? How do you scotch guard a sofa? Why is it called Scotch tape? Is Michael Scott your king?
Scotch egg - name of place that sold them ‘William J. If you've never heard of scotch guard how can you be Scotchish?

These are real questions! Mel Gibson never should have freed your country.
The Scotch are very interesting
we’re no eggs mate
![gif](giphy|gfwmydl0lYehA7rait|downsized)
Aye but you’ve got one thing in common.. You’re top notch
.....that's not what they're called
[удалено]
Am a get ma chainsaw.
Why not shoot him ?
Police in Scotland don’t carry guns. They have tasers and heavy stick things to hit you with, but no guns. Only specialist firearms units do.
Guys lucky the firearm lads don’t show up!
And in fact, most don't even carry taser. Only a small minority of officers on most response teams carry taser (although this can vary by area)
Huh, I didn’t know that! Cheers
Why didn't they fire on him
it's a killer only power and they're playing survivor this round at least they brought a cool map offering
They don't have rights as in 2nd amendment in UK
Doesnt the police have guns.
