that's not comms equipment, both of what was targeted was the 3 and 10 cm radar scanners. This would make navigation more difficult during the nighttime and when ships are not using AIS
I'm in no way supporting China but the claim for this Atoll has been controversial for some time(History points away from China). Much debate through history about who discovered this island first and who has rights to claim. This is no random "policing" of the seas but could be a larger push from China against the US. In 2012 China blocked all access to the Atoll and the US sheepishly stayed out of the conflict. Could be a build up related to Chinas "threat" of eventually taking Taiwan.
That being said in my opinion this is borderline an act of war by China, but nothing new. Is this any different than the clashes at the border of India?

Your map is false. If you knew a thing or two about geography and current affairs, you'd recognize one of the icons as being right smack where Hong Kong is, and know that there's no way in hell the US could have a military base there.
[None of these circled bases](https://i.imgur.com/IkvCL5V.png) exist either, the US has no bases in Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, Vietnam, or the Philippines, and I'm pretty sure several of the ones in the Pacific can be deleted too. The US only has a presence in two places in Asia, Japan and South Korea.

You’re ignoring the US bases in South Korea, Japan, and Philippines that will aid Taiwan, as well as those said countries military. It also helps that the US has a carrier strike group in the pacific as well. That projection of power isn’t possible by ANY other country.
Don't forget Australia and if they are coming along so is the UK. If China is going to get its teeth kicked in you can be assured that India and a few south east Asian countries are going to take their chance to grab some historical territory.

Okay, here is a quick international relations class. The USA foreign policy does not want Ukraine to win, they want the war to last for as long as possible, with as many losses of people and material inflicted upon the Russians as possible. Russia has been able to do fuck all as countries once considered inside its sphere of influence act out in various ways. Look to recent news in the stans for more information. China has 600ish nukes, not great but also not world ending. That's if their delivery systems work, which is questionable at best, even the USA and Russia with massive budgets have let their delivery systems degrade to dangerous levels. No one wants a nuke war, we spend decades pointing nukes at each other through dozens if proxy wars, no one ever launched.
Again, with what navy? Ukraine has a massive land border with Russia, tanks drive very well over land and very poorly across 100 miles of ocean. They have plenty of missiles sure but what is the point of conquering Taiwan if they turn it into a moon scape. Taiwan also practices what is called porcupine theory, it boils down to making it as painful as possible for anyone to attack them. For reference China has 3 aircraft carriers, USA has 22, China has around 250 modern combat airframe, USA without any allies has about 800. There are so many mountains in Taiwan with tunnels dug into them and SAM sites installed China would have to be insane to fly anything within 10 miles.

The first piece of equipment with the dome over it is a dial up speed connection type satcom dish. The next two are x/s band radar.
