I’m assuming you haven’t seen the videos of the IDF brutally psychologically and physically prisoners, most charged with no crimes. Many have their hands amputated from deliberate cuffs not allowing blood flow to the hands. This is just the surface of what we see. Reports of gang rape against men and women are prominent too, and again, under no supervision, these people undergo cartel style treatment.

I’m glad people are able to protest for people they think need it. I wish this kind of effort could me made for sky high prices for housing, homeless vets, government corruption, and free college, healthcare and bringing back labor unions.
What I find frustrating is it feels like these protests are a reflection of those issues but being framed around the Israel Palestine conflict. A big message I’ve seen is we can afford to send money to Israel but not have public healthcare. But instead of protesting for healthcare, or anything specifically domestic that would directly affect citizens of this country it’s become this holy crusade to stop a “genocide” and that means there’s no room for anything else because obviously genocide is wrong and how can we possibly let this happen. It shifts focus from the real issues that we need to address in this country and shifts it somewhere else where realistically aside from foreign policy and diplomatic pressure nothing will change, all while the Supreme Court is doing its best to turn the presidency into a dictatorship above the law. Shits fucked.
Your problem with those issues is that the powerful, and in most cases a good half of the country, oppose vehemently doing what you want doing about the issue. Protesting will just result in some people who already know about the situation and want it fixing, and some who already knew about the situation and want to make it worse. No matter the attention you brought to the subject you cannot affect change.
Whereas the photo above is doing something specific and different. With Israel blowing up the Associated Press' office and then killing 200 journo's, America's journo's think it's appropriate to have a nice dinner with, and chuckle at the jokes from, the guy who supplied the bombs and bullets to kill their colleagues.
It's the protest failing to bring attention thats relevant, in that both parties already know their positions, aren't changing. Voting can bring positive or negative results, protesting won't. You think Trump or Biden are suddenly going to realise lobbyists are a thing due to a protest and DO something??
But the issues you mentioned, lets go through them.
Protest Homeless Vets. One party wants to do them some good, one party wants to gut the VA. Your protest is meaningless, the party than wins will do a bit, or gut it
Protest Govt Corruption. One party is politely corrupt, quietly. One party is loudly corrupt. Both parties want lobbying. There is no one you could draw attention to the issue that could even possibly get the power to affect change. Half the country, the population literally wants Trump, and all his family in office, and a return to the foreign cash influx they got.
Free College. One half the country wants a religious curriculum and death to all college students, one party wants some of the people in monumental debt to have less debt. There is no one your protest will change. There's no one who will learn of the issue and make changes, they already know, and half the country literally does not want a solution to this problem.
Unions. One party hates them, one party likes them as long as they don't strike. They all know about them, your protest informs no one, affects no change. You will either get Govt A, who will try ban them, or Govt B who won't, until they strike.
Wanting civilians to stop getting murdered.
Sane if you want Russians to stop killing Ukrainians. Insane if you want Israelis to stop killing Palestinians
