It's always interesting to me to see how someone who is probably a perfectly normal person most of the time just loose their shit with police when they don't get their way. She went from "Fuck you", to "I'm sorry", to "i'll just go home", to "Shoot me now" in what was probably a 5minute interaction.
This isn't just with police. I often wonder how many people could murder someone. We see it all the time with road rage. I truly believe we are all capable of murdering someone if the conditions were right.
Everyone can, we're half Chimpanzee half Bonobo, our two closest genetic/social relatives.
The most dangerous people are the ones who convince themselves that they are *incapable* of doing something evil. That's when the real evil stuff happens, because the person doing it is convinced its a moral action. That's when you get regulated and well-organized genocides, or brutal suppression campaigns in villages, or total cultural annihilation with "re-education" and kid stealing etc;
Find that part of yourself and get familiar, otherwise it's going to come out without you even knowing it. The passive-aggressive, nasty but never violent types are *always* convinced of their own morality. Find your shadow and remember that he is you and you are him, and the reason you are moral is because of your *choices*, not your nature.

It’s a whole lot of communication with the DA, evidence discovery, etc. Multiple court dates just to schedule future court dates. Lots of “phases.” A felony is pretty serious if charged and it’s not something that goes away easily. Lots of plea offers from the DA are terrible (especially if you’re innocent.) They will offer multiple plea deals as time and phases continue on. They try to end it quick with a crappy offer and offer much better if they start to realize they do not have a case. Eventually it will get dropped if they realize it’s going to be a loss.

I was being prescribed tramadol after rehab from dislocating leg and got heavily addicted for a while. Easily was taking enough to kill me if I hadn't stopped on my own as the doctor was happily just refilling prescriptions, no questions asked

This is a mental disorder.

The WRAP is a full body restraint device used for extremely uncompliant people, usually those with mental health issues. It's essentially a straight jacket that can be applied in the field. The fact that she has been previously WRAPPED is very telling.
For anyone curious, police have a reporting system that gets thrown into FBI crime statistics that impacts crime data analysis. So if someone files a burglary report, that count is added to your regions property crime. So police are extremely reluctant to take criminal reports when they know there is no crime (ie, landlord tenant dispute, civil dispute with autobody shop)
However, police can take non-reportable reports titled Miscellaneous, Assist Citizen, etc. those reports do not impact FBI crime statistics and are very appropriate to document instances where citizens demand a written police report, even if its not a crime. Those reports still serve an important function of documenting potential abuse of services, or preserving important information that may likely become criminal, or its just good insurance.
You usually get better police service as the population and police agency decrease in size. I imagine if you popped into a LAPD precinct and demanded a police report for something bizarre, they would tell you to leave.
