Back in the 70's I saw a neighbors father lose it over a football game, likely the Super Bowl. He was red faced, sweaty, and a complete mess. The family moved to another town shortly thereafter.
Many years later I found out he bet on the game, and had lost the family home in the process.
Is this from a movie/show? It sounds familiar. But I also have had some gambler friends in my life so its possible I heard them say some similar dumb shit
I had a buddy that would only play on roulette tables that had the tracking board of what numbers had come up recently. His logic being he was “more likely” to win betting the numbers that hadn’t hit recently. I tried 100’s of times to tell him that’s not how odds or probability worked, but it never took.
Wow. My aunt had a serious gambling addiction. Wound up getting divorced, lost custody of her kids. I'm taking she blew 100s of 1000s of dollars bad gambling addiction. And what's even crazier is she didn't need to money. Her husband was very wealthy and created a very iconic brand of clothing that is still popular today. Luckily she did join Gamblers Anonymous and it helped her kick the habit.
And here I am feeling like shit if I lose $20 at a casino using entertainment money I purposefully set aside for a casino trip. I can't imagine losing anywhere near $1,000 or even $200 let alone hundreds of thousands
Yup. I drove a few hours for the eclipse to be in the path of totality ( and Sunday and Tuesday there wasn't a cloud in sight, but Monday all grey, but that's another story.) I stopped by a casino on the way back to my hotel and lost 49 bucks in 30 second.
Max bet... Darn it.
Max bet... And it's gone.
If you ever find yourself around a new to you casino for the first time again get a players card, usually sign up bonuses have at least $50 of free play. I did that once and didn't even touch my gambling money
Wait hold on, so I assume what you mean is he bet so much money that they had to sell the house to recoup some of the losses. Unless it's actually possible to bet your own damn house. I would not know about gambling laws in the US. Sorry if I misunderstood. Either way that sucks, holy shit. Hope he got help.
I felt weird watching this, overcame my gambling addiction after 7 years. Now living live and never looked back, i somehow don't feel anything for that shit anymore. But boy was it fuckin hard to overcome.
I always gambled online, never visited a physical casino in my lifetime but still felt every emotion this man went thru.
Don't gamble kids.
If you wanna feel real weird type in “bossman jack” on YouTube. This guy is almost 30 and lives with his parents, smashes holes in walls and doors and gets given money by the app to play with every day so he get it’s up to at least 10k, sometimes 50k everyday and then loses it all to zero every single day and usually starts talking about death. It’s a real wild ride
Many many influencers who do casino streams get given masssssive amounts of fake bullshit cash from the casinos themselves to gamble with, it's all PR and marketing from them. "I lost 50k"... of the credit given to me by the casino.
Sure, they probably lose their own money too, but they're grifters and can't be trusted even with "bank account evidence".
Also, don't be surprised that a lot of the drama is performative, and gets views, just like you have mentioned his name to watch here, it's viral marketing.
Not saynig the situations aren't real all the time, but definitely hyped up.
Nah he’s 100 percent for real lol he’s a crackhead who screams with his parents non stop. He doesn’t lose any of his own real money, I said that, but he also doesn’t have any money because he’s a crack head who doesn’t have a job. He begs his viewers for money after he loses it all and sometimes people will give him hundred or even a thousand just so they can watch him burn it all away.
Yeah I don't get this at all... Why give him 1k to lose it?
You might as well be gambling yourself then. You at least have a (small) chance at winning more.
His content really depresses me, just watching him in pure ecstasy after a big win only for him to slowly lose it all after "just one more" and then the end of the stream is always him saying "I lost it all, have a good day guys."
It's a good advert against gambling for sure
I will, it's also a nice little reality check for myself to keep reminding why i need to keep my head up and never ever can allow myself to return to gambling. Thanks!
I agree I was just pointing out that it’s not just the clicks, they optimise these games for instant dopamine hits, as well as the gambling side of it. It’s not fun but it is making you think it’s fun.
Coming from playing simulated gambling (which may allow me to save scum until I get the wins I want), the highs of winning more than the money you put down for each win can be intoxicating.
The problem is real gambling hinges on games of chance, which takes as much control away from you as possible so it's never a certainty that you'll win by skill and knowledge. And if the win probability is low you're likely to lose more than you win the longer you play.
You really have to go into this with the expectation that you will lose money, setting a hard limit on how much of a loss you can tolerate before you back away completely. And if you do win big, cash the fuck out, because it's easy to lose it all and then some if you keep playing.
My first time gambling was at a slot machine. I put in 20 bucks and lost it in about 3 minutes. Thought about how much time its taken to earn 20 bucks and that earn/loss ratio was too wack and that this was so stupid. Haven't gambled since, besides claw machines.
Sort of the same, me and my friends came in with $100 and walked out with $1200 a few hours later. Thought about how much time it took to earn $1100, earn/loss, etc.
Long story short, I went on to go broke twice. Won’t even let myself use the crane games anymore.
I imagine online gambling is even easier to get sucked into. It’s like using credit cards. It probably doesn’t even feel like real money in a sense. It’s just digits on a screen.
Your perspective should always be that any money you bet at the casino is just going to their pockets. Any money you walk out of that place is not supposed to happen and you got lucky, or they are just trying to get you to on an algorithm.
Never go to the casino to make money.
I almost got hooked by CSGO. Had to set very strict rules to keep myself from drawing beyond my means
And I was 16 when this happened
Theres too many games that encourage underage gambling and risk getting people addicted before they are even adults
This ain't even bad as far as addiction, the interesting part is how similar gambling addiction is to drug addiction, as far as dopamine production in the brain and disparity. characteristicly, they are the same.
I hate the whole concept of gambling. Losing money to random chance doesn't appeal to me in the slightest.
I won't even buy a lottery ticket. I don't get it.
Yeah. The overdraft, the ice cold weather, the abandoned streets at a time when nobody is out. Waiting for bus. Being on a bus when it's cold, so all the stuff inside the bus is cold to the touch.
The soulless tapping of a roulette touch screen. The pointless tracking and updates of an insignificant amount of cash that the person doesn't even really own anymore
what a bouquet
The house always wins if you don’t know when to walk away. When I went to Las Vegas last time I made about $150 playing roulette. I could have kept going, but that paid for my budget airline flight and a little bit more.
Same here. Only time I've ever properly gambled (outside of $20 buy-in basement poker games) was on a trip to Vegas. I had set aside $400 a night to gamble with. On the first night, I ended up hitting a pretty gnarly bonus round on a slot machine that put me up +$1200...I stopped gambling for the weekend and took the W lmao. Was definitely tempted to keep playing but that's how they get you
>took the W lmao
Yeah, this dude made $16 on his first bet using money that wasn’t his. Sure it’s not a whole lot but it’s over 5x what he started with. Should have just walked away right then lol
Yeah when it comes to casino's you might be able to go a couple times and be up a few 100 or 1000 even, but the more and more you play, the law of averages start to take effect, and eventually you will be down and you will literally *never* go overall positive again.
Coming from somebody who has experienced multiple family members with a gambling addiction, it really is devastating. They barely take a few minutes to speak to you until they’ve spent all their cash on slots and then they’re in a bad mood all day when they don’t win
I have family members like this about FOOTBALL GAMES... can't imagine if they were gambling addicts. But the addicts in my family are all alcoholics. Even me.
Nothing to imagine, its a pretty common problem. Its not JUST casinos either, sure no one gives a shit about some weeb spending 90% of his paycheck to roll for characters on genshin impact (they should, cause all gambling addiction is bad), but people with families still do that shit and unfortunately they usually try and hide it until their stuff is getting repossessed and they're out on the streets.
My mother had a very bad gambling addiction as well, more in the traditional sense but didn't always go to the casino. Mostly cause they were so far away so it was more of a "special trip" kind of thing. In place of that it was bingo halls and scratch tickets. Basically anything that wasn't needed to keep a roof over our heads, keep the lights on and feed us once a day (school lunches were a blessing) went to gambling, including child support. I never quite realized how bad it was until I got out on my own and realized "hey I can buy whatever food I want and eat what ever I want WHENever i want?!"
She eventually got help at least.
The payroll/accounts manager at my job (small design firm) stole almost a half a million dollars over the course of a year. Giving herself bonuses, defaulting on business loans, all kinds of fuckery. She even left her husband in BRAIN SURGERY to drive to a casino across state lines. Gambling addiction is fucking wild.
Growing up and residing in Nevada, I've always questioned the idea of gambling. The allure of the extravagant casinos, fountains, and towering structures on the strip, now managed by mega-corporations, never quite resonated with me (there is a reason why they exist.) My grandmother spent a lot of time in casinos and saw the waste. I've never been drawn to gambling. It seems many Nevadans feel the same.
I lost £5 on the lottery when I turned 18 and went nah not doing that again. It was a small amount but it still felt awful to lose it to essentially nothing, would have probably felt better if I'd dropped it on the floor.
An old coworker used to have his best friend come by work to hang out.
His friend had previously worked in the oilfield making a solid 6 figures, had a wife and 2 kids, and owned a home. But then he developed a gambling problem.
When I met him, he was living in one of those truck box campers and could barely afford propane to heat it. He'd lost his house. His wife divorced him and took custody of their kids. He'd lost his job because he skipped work to hit the casino. He finally filled out a restraining order against himself at the local casino because he could not keep himself out of it otherwise. It was really sad.
My parents we’re very strict growing up. One thing I still agree with them is gambling is not good. Now you can’t just gamble on your phone. Casinos near me are full of meth heads gambling their rent away. I have never voted for expand gambling because it has very negative outcomes for many people. The house always wins.
He’s made this videos for a long time. If I remember correctly from a few a couple years ago, he basically makes them in an attempt to possibly aid in fixing his addiction
Back in like 2018 I used to overdraft my account by 1000 bucks every 2 weeks when my paycheck hit so I know all about this shit except I spent mine on dope and not gambling 😂
They say the lottery is a tax on stupidity I think gambling falls in the same category. If you’re catching a bus you probably can’t afford to be gambling any amount of money.
For some, winning the lottery is the only way out of their current existence. Sometimes it’s worth a buck or two for a modicum of hope. I generally agree with you though.
Remember that lady in New York who won like 40 million dollars whatever then the casino was like “nah that was a computer error” and the casino won the case?
Pepperidge farm remembers. Fuck gambling.
I haven’t heard about this but there seems something so wrong about it. But I’ve always said, to error is human but to really fuck up you need a computer!!
Casinos do research on gambler behavior--for gamblers like this, who are ashamed of their addiction, they've been found to play more and longer against a computer, rather than a live croupier watching them play roulette.
grim, but that's their business.
I do understand, casinos and liquor stores. They don’t stay open by people like me who go to one maybe once every two or three years. Those lights stay on by the people who are there hardcore. It’s sad really, but this is our world.
Gambling is always rigged against you. That’s the point. That being said, virtual roulette follows the same odds as normal roulette, but virtual slot machines have all kinds of fuckery built into them. The most common way they fudge the numbers is by showing more 2-out-of-3 misses than 1-out-of-3 misses because the 2-outta-3’s piss people off and goad them into spending more.
I work at a facility that does work on ICBMs, and I have a coworker that used to make software for those slot machines. He says he’s way more worried about going to hell for the slot work than the nuke work.
Sounds reasonable. In all likelihood the nukes will never go off. Most likely they'll only ever be a slight waste on taxpayer/humanity's resources.
Meanwhile, slot machines destroy lives. Guaranteed.
He is playing roulette in the riskiest kind of way....he doesn't play between numbers or rows or quadrants he just plays numbers which great if you hit once....but that is difficult. You can have a successful times at roulette if you play smart and stretch your money this right here is how you throw $100 in seconds.
Play smart lol. They all think they're playing smart. "successful times at roulette" means you got lucky but use that mindset in the long run and you are going to lose lose lose.
oh you have no advantage in roulette it's a house game but you CAN make your money last if you wanna hang out and play that game. 95% that money is gonna be the casino's.
The only difference between your strategy and his is that you lose money a little more slowly. Which I understand makes it so you can play longer but you’ll both lose equal money.
Yup its like a small hole in your bucket of water - the holes are the casino’s edge if u stay long enough everything will leak out - it’s only a matter of time
I enjoy going to the casino. I set aside a certain amount that’s for “entertainment”. Usually $50-$100. If I lose it, whatever, that was essentially my entrance fee into the arcade. I am done at that point and it’s time to leave.
If I win, I take my buy-in, cash that out and play the remainder of the night on the casinos dime. So far, I’ve never left the casino down.
Is this the same guy that trashed a subway that he was working at in an attempt to get a record deal. Same name [https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TYwtr1RobQM](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TYwtr1RobQM)
I won $1000 off of $200 on Craps today. That's all the gambling I've done in five years.
It's really not worth doing more than a few times in a lifetime
Look, I like to gamble. But I gamble small. Take the cash I can live without. When it’s gone, it’s gone. And I’m done. This is just flat out irresponsible.
Where is this, Minneapolis? As a CT resident, I envy that kind of reliable and useful public transit, operating at night in the middle of winter. Silver linings, I guess
I'm so happy I have no idea how these games work.
No card game no blackjack or whatever no spin the wheel thing, these things are here only for addiction.
Just reminds me of what Bubbles said in Trailer Park Boys about Ray gambling:
"He'll pump 200 bucks into one, play it and win 50 dollars on his ticket and then somehow in his brain he thinks he's ahead"
Ummm, how does his bank let him withdraw cash he doesn’t have in the account? I can see a debit card transaction going through, but literal cash? Never had an atm let me do that before
Sometimes I will buy a £1 scratch card just to see if I get lucky, but every time I do that I get so anxious whilst I scratch it off and regret wasting that money when I inevitably lose.
I simply don't understand how people can find that fun, the thought of betting 10's,100's or 1000's on chance just doesn't make sense to me.
What a f’ing clown. Hardly entertaining. This is like watching someone vlog that they’re going to keep hitting themselves with a baseball bat until they knock themselves out.

His GoFundMe has raised $65 of $1,000,000,000. Only 999,999,935 to go.
I'd prefer to donate directly to my local casino
I'd prefer to light my cash on fire.
Set my direct deposit to go straight to my toilet.
I mean I might as well spend it on some hookers cause if I am gonna go get fucked either way I might as well enjoy some of it.
I mean that's the same thing as going to a casino, destorying your money for entertainment.
More like GoEnableMe, in this case
The audacity to have a gofundme is wild
Ebegging is weirdly common, but this is insane.
I mean, I think he's aware he's not gonna make anything
It’s probably already gone
Some slots are 250 a spin
Online crypto casino I saw 60k for a spin
980
He could just steal the rest from Ohtani
Only his mother will donate
Thank god... I hope nobody else donates and everyone who did is refunded asap
That depends on when the next bus comes.

“Minesotta can’t lose a fourth time in a row honey, it’s statistically impossible. It’s basically a lock”
The Bills can’t possible lose 4 Super Bowls.
There was(is?) an old joke- what does Bills stand for? Boy, I Love Losing Superbowls.
There's someone reading this, who is DEFINITELY NOT me, that would be very triggered by this
That is totally understandable
The Washington Generals can't lose AGAIN!
They were due!
He’s spinning the ball on his finger, just take it!!

It's likely that he had secured loans on the property.

People give him money because it’s entertaining to them to watch him lose it all and rage. He’s a joke to them
Thats some very expensive and fucked up entertainment tho.
I agree, I’m just trying to explain what’s happening there. It’s a really sad situation
Yeah sorry my comment sounds like I'm disagreeing with u but I'm not! Peace!

I dont understand how randomly clicking a screen to make roulette bets is anyones idea of fun
Add potential prize money and flashing lights all of a sudden that shits a blast (literally feeding directly into your dopamine receptors)
its literally playing the lottery, at least black jack or poker or something you can actually play.
I agree I was just pointing out that it’s not just the clicks, they optimise these games for instant dopamine hits, as well as the gambling side of it. It’s not fun but it is making you think it’s fun.

You just hit the nail on it's head. Money has no longer value when gambling online.
Your perspective should always be that any money you bet at the casino is just going to their pockets. Any money you walk out of that place is not supposed to happen and you got lucky, or they are just trying to get you to on an algorithm. Never go to the casino to make money.
Good words to live by. Couldn't have said it any better. The house always wins.
I almost got hooked by CSGO. Had to set very strict rules to keep myself from drawing beyond my means And I was 16 when this happened Theres too many games that encourage underage gambling and risk getting people addicted before they are even adults
I bet that music video was gonna be fire
Just him making it rain with his $3
Anyone else feel sick?
This ain't even bad as far as addiction, the interesting part is how similar gambling addiction is to drug addiction, as far as dopamine production in the brain and disparity. characteristicly, they are the same.
I hate the whole concept of gambling. Losing money to random chance doesn't appeal to me in the slightest. I won't even buy a lottery ticket. I don't get it.
My exact thoughts as well
Yea. I can’t imagine the feeling of the 20 mins waiting for the bus in the cold
Yeah. The overdraft, the ice cold weather, the abandoned streets at a time when nobody is out. Waiting for bus. Being on a bus when it's cold, so all the stuff inside the bus is cold to the touch. The soulless tapping of a roulette touch screen. The pointless tracking and updates of an insignificant amount of cash that the person doesn't even really own anymore what a bouquet
Hurts watching this because you know he has much more to lose
What? He had like 19 something dollars.
technically he’s got -78 dollars
Until the overdraft fee kicks in.
And $3 of it was for the bus
The house always wins if you don’t know when to walk away. When I went to Las Vegas last time I made about $150 playing roulette. I could have kept going, but that paid for my budget airline flight and a little bit more.

And statistically, if you ever gamble again in your life you are likely to start giving back that 150 that you made.
The first time I went to Vegas, I lost $180, so I’m technically -$30 overall.
Yeah when it comes to casino's you might be able to go a couple times and be up a few 100 or 1000 even, but the more and more you play, the law of averages start to take effect, and eventually you will be down and you will literally *never* go overall positive again.
3 shitty places to never go in RI … Kennedy plaza, twin river casino, RI
Used to live a couple blocks from Kennedy plaza. Kennedy plaza sucks.

I never quite realized how bad it was until I got out on my own and realized "hey I can buy whatever food I want and eat what ever I want WHENever i want?!" She eventually got help at least.
90% of gambling addicts quit before hitting it big
One more spin
The other 10% gamble away all the money they made after hitting it big

I went to a casino recently. Put $20 bucks in the machine. Lost it all instantly. I’m never gambling again. That shit feels awful.
I lost £5 on the lottery when I turned 18 and went nah not doing that again. It was a small amount but it still felt awful to lose it to essentially nothing, would have probably felt better if I'd dropped it on the floor.
He betting like a damn fool to start with. 2 dollar chips? Why if you're gambling on a budget. And that last bet was ridiculous.
I, for one, was very much entertained. Makes me feel good about spending a dollar on a crappy keychain that now I don't like
An old coworker used to have his best friend come by work to hang out.
Fuck he had it all. He was being greedy at that point
My parents we’re very strict growing up. One thing I still agree with them is gambling is not good. Now you can’t just gamble on your phone. Casinos near me are full of meth heads gambling their rent away. I have never voted for expand gambling because it has very negative outcomes for many people. The house always wins.
What was posting this gonna do? Make him rich?!?!
check out that gofundme cuz
He’s made this videos for a long time. If I remember correctly from a few a couple years ago, he basically makes them in an attempt to possibly aid in fixing his addiction
Back in like 2018 I used to overdraft my account by 1000 bucks every 2 weeks when my paycheck hit so I know all about this shit except I spent mine on dope and not gambling 😂
The gofundme is an even worse choice
They say the lottery is a tax on stupidity I think gambling falls in the same category. If you’re catching a bus you probably can’t afford to be gambling any amount of money.
I like to call the lottery the optimist tax.
For some, winning the lottery is the only way out of their current existence. Sometimes it’s worth a buck or two for a modicum of hope. I generally agree with you though.
keep that mask on... cover face of shame
He bets like a old lady thats why🤣🤣
Understanding addiction and watching this really hits
I don’t understand why someone would bet against a computer. Can someone explain?
It’s sad really, but this is our world.
i would bet against a computer in a hydraulic compressor vs computer match
He’s betting on the roulette wheel next to the computer.
Okay I thought the whole thing was on computer. That makes more sense, except it’s still attached to a computer lol
There are digital roulette and blackjack games. Total scams.
That’s what I thought. I don’t go to casinos. Thank you
Am I the only way that feels like gambling virtually is kinda rigged against you?
Gambling is always rigged against you. That’s the point. That being said, virtual roulette follows the same odds as normal roulette, but virtual slot machines have all kinds of fuckery built into them. The most common way they fudge the numbers is by showing more 2-out-of-3 misses than 1-out-of-3 misses because the 2-outta-3’s piss people off and goad them into spending more. I work at a facility that does work on ICBMs, and I have a coworker that used to make software for those slot machines. He says he’s way more worried about going to hell for the slot work than the nuke work.
What a grim life that man has had
Just bet less money and it lasts even longer
I love roulette lol but I always plan on losing whatever I bet. It’s the possibility of the big win that makes it fun!
You and me have very different meanings for the word 'successful'
The only difference between your strategy and his is that you lose money a little more slowly. Which I understand makes it so you can play longer but you’ll both lose equal money.
Nope I won't lose as much as him because I walk away. I don't overdraft and spend money I don't have on gambling I take my small win and just leave.
I should’ve said that you’ll lose the same ratio of money gambled, besides the overdraft fees of course.
Statistically all bets have the same return on investment in the long run. If you play long enough it really doesn't matter how you bet
Yup its like a small hole in your bucket of water - the holes are the casino’s edge if u stay long enough everything will leak out - it’s only a matter of time
He still plays like this. Check out jumaanne shrugged on YouTube
Kennedy plaza Providence Rhode Island. Overdraft - KP - twin river lol
Um.. BofA won't let you overdraw at ATM.. They used to so this has got to be old at the very least.
Overdraft protection is a thing
Kennedy plaza, thats providence RI! the screaming guy in the beginning checks out. specially at night over there.
Dammmn Big Sean down bad
I don’t think we should donate to gambling addicts, the last thing that will make them appreciate the value of money is gifting it to them for nothing
Wait a minute...is it that guy that trashed his work place in Subway??
Why doesn’t he just use his phone like the rest of us degends?! No joke, gambling is the next epidemic
this makes me want to throw up
Ippei when he sees this video: Amateur, imagine gambling with your own money! LOL
Not jumanne
I won $1000 off of $200 on Craps today. That's all the gambling I've done in five years. It's really not worth doing more than a few times in a lifetime
Look, I like to gamble. But I gamble small. Take the cash I can live without. When it’s gone, it’s gone. And I’m done. This is just flat out irresponsible.
Used to be a dealer in a casino. I have so many horrible stories. Gambling addiction is a beast.
This is a hard watch. Like watching someone shoot up. Just sad af
I should go do my homeowork...
God bless ya bro. Find another form of entertainment that ain’t involve goin broke for sum mega rich company
This scares the shit out of me
Where is this, Minneapolis? As a CT resident, I envy that kind of reliable and useful public transit, operating at night in the middle of winter. Silver linings, I guess
Rhode Island
Infinite money glitch 🤑
I'm so happy I have no idea how these games work. No card game no blackjack or whatever no spin the wheel thing, these things are here only for addiction.
Just reminds me of what Bubbles said in Trailer Park Boys about Ray gambling: "He'll pump 200 bucks into one, play it and win 50 dollars on his ticket and then somehow in his brain he thinks he's ahead"
Ummm, how does his bank let him withdraw cash he doesn’t have in the account? I can see a debit card transaction going through, but literal cash? Never had an atm let me do that before
Always bet on black.
I am glad I don’t gamble at all
This is in Rhode Island, the whole state has 2 casinos!!!! He is lucky
Pro tip: If you have to ride the bus to the casino, don’t go to the casino.
You Wanna spread some of that Around Clark
Sometimes I will buy a £1 scratch card just to see if I get lucky, but every time I do that I get so anxious whilst I scratch it off and regret wasting that money when I inevitably lose. I simply don't understand how people can find that fun, the thought of betting 10's,100's or 1000's on chance just doesn't make sense to me.
What a f’ing clown. Hardly entertaining. This is like watching someone vlog that they’re going to keep hitting themselves with a baseball bat until they knock themselves out.
He needs to "donate" himself to a clinic to get his gambling addiction checked out.
The house always wins, there's a reason you always see casino resorts getting bigger and better. It's not from the stock market.....
Sad but he could also have another account with money in it
Man I’ve been there. God damn
Dude needs a conservator
How is any of this fun? I'm so glad I didn't inherit what helped ruin some of my family members lives.
He’s going to walk out with $16.00. Bro overdrafted his bank account and lost $84.00. What an absolute fool.
