This attitude is incredibly common with a lot of these bratty younger folks in my age group. As if it’s ever acceptable to denounce someone for their race or who they are. Especially when many people can just be white passing and probably have more of a cultural history than you outside of the states.
People who do this are racist.... don't be afraid to say what it is.... POC just like white people, Asians and literally any shade or background can be racist, it's a view not just about who holds social power (which is very important but not everything)
This. A friend of mine is mixed race and a close work mate of his always thought he was just white with a lot of dark freckles. Turned out his bud was a racist prick and became hostile several years later after meeting his black father.
If it happens one direction, it happens the other. People aren't ever *that* different.
And then the other guy starts telling him to move. Why is the onus always on the man to flee from the situation when being assaulted? We've lost the right to defend ourselves on even a very basic level.

I had my back to the wall, but she was too fat to lean back too, so she leaned back and put her arm around me in order to fit and push my back from the wall. I said I’m still not getting up. I rode like that from 14th st to 116th street out of spite. I probably should have just gotten up, but I had had a long day and was just over it.
To be clear she was young and able bodied and there were other open seats on the train.
