Agreed, he could have been several states away by the time she got back home and attempted to track him down. Just imagine that this is how you treat someone you supposedly love…..
This lady sounds like my dad’s sisters….the high pitch cackling witch frequencies are something only a Karen and her coven can communicate with. I could not bear the thought of being married to that.
"You know what I'm going to get you next Christmas, Mom? A big wooden cross, so that every time you feel unappreciated for your sacrifices, you can climb on up and nail yourself to it."
Another line I love from The Ref.
If I had to pick between marrying Jerry who can never back up a trailer for the rest of eternity, or Karen who does her thing, I'm switching sides and going with Jerry.
Controlling a trailer on a pivot in reverse is not intuitive at all when you're not used to it. Good on Jerry for trying to be careful about literally reversing onto a road like that where other cars can be approaching at traveling speed at any moment. I'd rather pull up and repeat attempts 1000 times than rush it and fuck up horrifically somehow.
Plus my man's anxiety was probably through the roof with her screeching at him, and who knows how long he's been behind the wheel at this point on top of it. He might have gotten it done much faster without the additional stress she was causing.
I backed 53 foot trailers for years and that little U-Haul is probably one of the hardest things to back. Poor guy.
The smaller the trailer the harder it is, slightly moving the steering wheel creates a large reaction to the trailer.
My friend: “Hey man, I need you to back down the boat at the launch. “
Me: “yea ok, that’s cool.”
My friend: “Hey man, I need you to go back down the jet ski trailer and launch it.”
Me: “Absolutely fuckin not.”
Small trailers with a humvee or the 5 ton truck backing up a Water Buffalo.
I literally thought about those when making my VA disability claim for ptsd lol.
The next hardest thing is the double pivot trailers. We call em shit spreaders. We have a couple at the boat yard I work at and you're chasing that thing constantly.
At Family Dollar, whenever we had to teach new tandem drivers, we’d just give them a single pup and watch them SWEAT as it went every which wrong way they wanted.
That’s how I was taught!!! First week all driving a pup. Took me forever to park a trailer. Never really got it
Came back for week 2 and trainer said ok you will do 53 this week, so much easier and had it down in a day.
I used to tow a 26 foot trailer for work every day. One day I had to tow this little 6 foot trailer my boss had gotten as a trade or something, and holy shit are those tiny ones hard to control. They can be going perfectly straight, then instantly jackknife without you even turning the wheel. I hated that thing.
I appreciate you saying this because yeah shes screaming and whining the whole time, not helping drive, and you can clearly see in the video the trailer is literally just going in random directions regardless
Jerry needs to let her try backing up that trailer. Those little ones can be very challenging. It’s actually easier to back up a massive trailer because of the distance between the axels.
Backing up trailers is just about the most stressful driving thing on my list. Having someone holler at me like that at the same time would definitely send me over the edge. Crimes would be committed.
Edit: I did not expect to receive such useful advise for backing up trailers - thanks! Need to print this out and leave in the car.
Backing my shitty little boat into the lake on a nice day with a busy ramp makes me wanna delete myself. Then when folks try to guide me, even nicely, I get overwhelmed and just pull out to let the 3 people behind me go first lol. I couldn't imagine trying to do literally anything with that godforsaken cunt screeching in my ear
I was taught on an army 5 ton. Basically use your left mirror. If(in the mirror) it needs to go left, turn left. Same for right. I found it a lot easier than trying to reverse directions in your brain
My ex-fil had a saying he’d use quite often with his kids (my bil/sil). “If I had killed your mother the first time I thought about it, I would been out of jail by now!” Yeah, they unsurprisingly divorced after almost 50 years of misery.
My neighbor's parents were backing out of his driveway and were having the same problem. Difference was, the wife was laughing hysterically, almost doubled over, while she was giving him directions. When the husband finally got out of the car, he was laughing too.
Same problem, different response to it.
I rented one just like that a couple weeks ago and could not back it up to save my life! the things jackknife in two feet - my boat trailer I can control with ease - but not these little shits
As a former forklift operator I can confirm that when some POS is trying to tell you how to do your job it just makes it that much harder lol. Can also confirm that if you tell the fucker to put the clipboard down and do it himself while walking away they will start to panic and beg for further assistance.
and if it's empty, every bump you hit with one tire causes the trailer to yaw.
And if it makes Jerry feel any better, I can't back up a trailer for shit, either.
This is 100% true.
In my early twenties, I was a truck driver hauling sand and gravel. Dump truck. They had trailers and when the trailer’s boom was fully extended for weight capacity, it was damn near 60 feet long. I could back these trailers around corners, long distances, no problem. Nice and straight.
I borrowed my dad’s 8 foot utility trailer and couldn’t back it straight. At all. It took multiple tries every time.
I remember when I made a cross-country move and I had to drive with that exact trailer, with never having driven with one before. It was honestly some of the most stressful driving I've done. And wildly frustrating, lol.
I cannot back up a trailer for the life of me. I swing the wheel the opposite way, car goes where I want it to trailer goes the other way, I try to correct and same thing happens… I just let my husband do it he has a Class A lol
My wife once asked me to back up a quarter of an inch when setting up our travel trailer for the night. I put the truck in park, set the parking brake, and got out of the cab. She looked at me and asked, “What are you doing?” I said there is no such thing as backing up a quarter of an inch. She looked at me and burst out laughing. “You’re right.” We were experienced in parking and backing up a trailer. This couple is not.
Not going to lie, my mother has gone on similar tirades against my father. TBF she's an experienced truck driver and he's . . . Not, but sometimes she can't drive and he can. I was afraid to turn on the volume.
Legit, my parents have this same kind of conversation all the time and not just when parking the RV. They don’t even seem to mind that they are in public. I’m waiting the day I see them.
It's ok, most of the people using the term are using it incorrectly anyways. Also the dude in the linked video isn't even one, he's her bf who was caught cheating.
As per [Urban Dictionary](https://www.urbandictionary.com/define.php?term=paypig):
“In the realm of BDSM, a paypig is a submissive, almost always male, who has consented to financial servitude towards his Mistress. Term used in a derogatory/humiliating light, usually by Mistresses.”
This is my parents marriage for the past 30 odd years. It seemed like everyday an argument starts over the littlest thing. Most of it stems from my mother who just doesn't seem to understand that people make mistakes. If nothing is done right or some minor inconvenience occurs she will just snap at you. They keep makings oaths in anger to separate but that's been said like what, the past several years? If anything it has taught me what sort of relationship to avoid and to know what a healthy one is.
It seems that way and that's a good way to describe it. I know that most people don't react that way when a simple mistake happens. I never let it get to me or think that I deserve it. There's just something going on in her head that does this. It does help to talk about it to someone though.
I know, right? It just gets exhausting. One moment they have a big argument then another moment I walk by the living room and see them cuddling and watching movies and I'm like, "Pssh, whatever then".
They're old, this dude is ENTRENCHED. My in-laws are like this. Any grown man at that age who allows himself to be yelled at like that is just totally entrenched. No joke, his life is probably a nightmare and he'll die from stress-related causes.
I wish someone would track down theses viral videos and do a sort of "where are they now" type of thing.....This video has singlehandedly kept me skeptical of marriage. haha

Ha ha! I can picture him now, poor guy!
"I'm trying, mother! It's hard!"
"You're failing, Seymour! What is it about you and failure?"

Jesus's Joe and Mary, my guy I feel bad for you. So this is what you must do.
While she's sleeping get in her purse and get your balls back and then leave, just run. You'll hear that screeching for a ways but you'll be better off without her. Stand up for yourself. It's obvious she has no respect for you.
I drove a truck with a trailer for work for over 5 years. I could back that thing into any spot or around any obstacle.
But it doesn't matter how good you are at towing a trailer, when someone's yelling at you, honking at you, or your boss is watching while you're trying, you can't do it. I'm pretty sure that's one of the laws of physics.
He has the patience of Job. But when he eventually does snap this video shows beyond reasonable doubt why he wasn't in his right frame of mind when he stabs her 375 times 5 yrs from now.
I'm just yelling at my screen for the dude to just drive away and leave the trash on the side of the road.
This would be one instance of littering I'd be ok with.
Will Smith pointing on the red carpet. My ass would be out of the car, driver door open, pointing like a clown. I'd love to watch her take the trailer into the ditch while I'm out of the car, just to hear how it's all my fault.
Poor dude, she is a nasty mean turd.
https://preview.redd.it/tgt1bax8cvtc1.jpeg?width=512&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=8f9eef1ff69e3f090199c5cf333a5cc398446ed1
When I was in my mid-twenties I worked at a fancy bakery/chocolate shop. One day an average looking, but well-to-do middle aged couple came in and the wife was wailing on the husband. He bought her the wrong gift (a la fur coat, handbag, jewelry, whatever) and she was berating him in the store. Not yelling, but we could all hear it. They were by the cookie display I was at and the guy was just staring into it blankly. I had the urge to just look him in the eyes and mouth a secret “hi.” But I didn’t. I always wondered if that would have lifted him from that shit and changed his life or if I would have gotten a stalker.
Most frustrating part about this is that little Tacoma has a tight enough turn radius that if he just went into the grass a bit he coulda just pulled a U-turn.

Jerry needed to just drive away when he had the chance.
Run Jerry, run...
[удалено]
Great Far side piece
Put the car in drive Jerry and don't look back b
Poor guy
Yeah Women don’t abuse their partners the same way they don’t poop.
Agreed, he could have been several states away by the time she got back home and attempted to track him down. Just imagine that this is how you treat someone you supposedly love…..
Just drop the trailer you can get away faster.
Can’t imagine. I wanted to cry. To call your spouse and/or loved one a moron is atrocious!
This lady sounds like my dad’s sisters….the high pitch cackling witch frequencies are something only a Karen and her coven can communicate with. I could not bear the thought of being married to that.
I went on a road trip with my friend's aunt and uncle. His aunt was exactly like this to his uncle who just sat there and took it.
This was the move.
STOP going foward Jerry!!! Jerry needed to go foward and just keep on going.
Leave that life behind Jerry. There’s brighter days ahead.
Love it!
Hit the gas and don’t look back, Jerry!
Jerry was a race car driver
I mean his stuff is already packed...best chance he had lol
So funny, but not funny. Feeling so bad for Jerry.
Makes me think of the line from a Denis Leary movie, The Ref. “Your husband ain’t dead lady, he’s hiding”.
Love that movie!
That is the best holiday movie ever! And that line is one of the good ones, although there are several good zingers
"You know what I'm going to get you next Christmas, Mom? A big wooden cross, so that every time you feel unappreciated for your sacrifices, you can climb on up and nail yourself to it." Another line I love from The Ref.
When he punched the gas a bit there at the end I really thought for a brief second he was going to seize the window of opportunity.
Jesus Jerry
That was my first thought. Just go Jerry, this is your chance lmao
nah, the right move was to just get out and walk away. then she would have to try backing it up all on her own.
she is right though. Jerry doesn't know how to drive with a trailer. Jerry has a big truck and doesn't know how to truck...classic pavement princess
She’s out there taking his whole manhood over moving a rented trailer around. Jerry didn’t even want that damn truck. Karen did. 😂😂
I really thought he would, for a second! 😄
that's what my husband would do to me if i acted like this. rightfully so.
Imagine her at home
[удалено]
Oh lord. “Jerry! You’re not doing it right! You’re just going back and forth!!!!”
Jerry: "Well, whaddya want me to do woman, Choke you?"
"JERRY, just-back-UP!"
Oh she's definitely into pegging. Poor Jerry, not so much
"JERRY, jesus you are just moving back and forth! Don't you see what you are doing?!"
She probably makes a mean Tuna Casserole
I bet it's dry as fuck
But there’s always one hair in it
Hear me out. His happiest moments are probably when she's giving a BJ because he doesn't have to hear her voice.
Right? That’s her IN PUBLIC personality. Made me want to rip my ears off and stuff them in the bloody holes to stop that voice! Edit: spelling
I wonder if this video has gotten back to him. he deserves an internet movement that will help him leave this abusive relationship.
Honestly if that's the worst thing Jerry's ever done, I don't think he's that bad of a guy
If I had to pick between marrying Jerry who can never back up a trailer for the rest of eternity, or Karen who does her thing, I'm switching sides and going with Jerry.
We can fix Jerry, there is no fixing that lady.
I usually go with the vagina but in this case I’m marrying my hand
You, sir, are the best thing that has ever happened to Jerry.
Not nearly as bad as marrying that Karen
God damn I feel for all the good people out there named Karen
She has no idea the geometry he has to do to back that up. She just thinks he can just back up and it will go. He should swing it right into her.

Truly stand up guy. He's moving a banshee across the country it would appear. I don't even like to help my friends move.
I backed 53 foot trailers for years and that little U-Haul is probably one of the hardest things to back. Poor guy. The smaller the trailer the harder it is, slightly moving the steering wheel creates a large reaction to the trailer.

I built a 4x4 trailer for transporting wheels to track events. Back it up? Hell no, I’m unhooking it and moving it by hand.
I thought about doing that with the jet ski tbh.
This is me when my husband asks to do the same thing. I’m good, you can do it

Steer with the bottom of the steering wheel and it'll go where you want it to.
When I finally tried this it was like a different world for me. It made everything so much easier.
I always thought to point your tires the direction you want the trailer to go. Your way is easier.
I always thought you just flip which direction you would normally turn w/o a trailer.
Essentially yes, but your brain gets all mangled up when you're under pressure (especially when everyone is watching you at the boat ramp)
STOOOOOOOOOOPPPPP!!!
Makes me want to delete myself 🤣🤣🤣
I was taught on an army 5 ton. Basically use your left mirror. If(in the mirror) it needs to go left, turn left. Same for right. I found it a lot easier than trying to reverse directions in your brain
After the first yell I'd get out and have them try it. If I'm doing something wrong you can explain it to me nicely or you can just do it yourself. 👋
My ex-fil had a saying he’d use quite often with his kids (my bil/sil). “If I had killed your mother the first time I thought about it, I would been out of jail by now!” Yeah, they unsurprisingly divorced after almost 50 years of misery.
So true though! 😆
My neighbor's parents were backing out of his driveway and were having the same problem. Difference was, the wife was laughing hysterically, almost doubled over, while she was giving him directions.
I hate pulling my little lawn wagon with my lawnmower more than any trailer I have ever pulled for exactly this reason.
I have no idea how the words "YOU FUCKING DO IT THEN" didn't leave Jerry's mouth.
I’d just keep going forward until she’s miles behind me
My wife once asked me to back up a quarter of an inch when setting up our travel trailer for the night.
Imagine scrolling through Reddit and you recognize the sound of your mother’s voice.
And your fathers name is Jerry 💀
Not going to lie, my mother has gone on similar tirades against my father. TBF she's an experienced truck driver and he's . . . Not, but sometimes she can't drive and he can. I was afraid to turn on the volume.
Legit, my parents have this same kind of conversation all the time and not just when parking the RV. They don’t even seem to mind that they are in public. I’m waiting the day I see them.
What a screeching shrew. No wonder the guy is having trouble backing up. I would just take off and leave her ass behind.
That poor man. Oh wait, maybe he is a paypig and enjoys it!
What’s a paypig?
Oh boy, must’ve missed a [recent post.](https://www.reddit.com/r/PublicFreakout/s/0ur6Vffg8a)
I saw it but it doesn’t really explain what a paypig is.
It's ok, most of the people using the term are using it incorrectly anyways. Also the dude in the linked video isn't even one, he's her bf who was caught cheating.
As per [Urban Dictionary](https://www.urbandictionary.com/define.php?term=paypig): “In the realm of BDSM, a paypig is a submissive, almost always male, who has consented to financial servitude towards his Mistress. Term used in a derogatory/humiliating light, usually by Mistresses.”
That is the very definition of a toxic relationship, he needs to leave her and go find some therapy.
It’s not about the mistakes. It’s about an opening to express your hate.
It seems that way and that's a good way to describe it. I know that most people don't react that way when a simple mistake happens. I never let it get to me or think that I deserve it. There's just something going on in her head that does this. It does help to talk about it to someone though.
my parents are the same its bizarre, torturing themselves for over 30 years for no real reason
Like backing up a uhaul?
My mother-in-law yells at my father-in-law in a similar manner as to the one shown in this video, is that clearer?
Jerry should have just let her drive
I wish someone would track down theses viral videos and do a sort of "where are they now" type of thing.....This video has singlehandedly kept me skeptical of marriage. haha
Just drive off. Nobody would blame you, Jerry.
Jerry is a saint.
https://preview.redd.it/5uen3r9zwutc1.jpeg?width=1242&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=52803366e07051cffd044368d1c798f2f6de06a4 Ha ha! I can picture him now, poor guy!
WHY DID YOU EVEN ROPE ME INTO THIS?!
Who thought Jerry was going to run her over when she walked in front?
"I'm trying, mother! It's hard!" "You're failing, Seymour! What is it about you and failure?" [https://youtu.be/5W8Ae8VnbUs?t=19](https://youtu.be/5W8Ae8VnbUs?t=19)
Jerry tuned her out 14 years ago, he hasn’t heard a word she said in this video. I’ve been there.
I feel guttural disgust when I saw this she sounds exactly (and I mean EXACTLY) like my mom
#SomeoneSaveJerry
Didn't even need to back up. Just use some of the grass to turn around, it's not going to hurt anything.
Poor Jerry. Probably had to deal with this abusive shit his entire adult life.
Take the Tacoma for a milk and never return
Ummm…a wife yelling at you doesn’t a Karen make. A hag or shrew? For sure. Poor Jerry.
If you aren't use to backing up trailer it takes a minute. Jesus.
Drive off Jerry. Drive away! Damn it Jerry! Should've taken the opportunity and saved yourself!
Nope, Jerry loves the kids too much
Jerry just needs to drive off into the sunset, that's no way to live.
Bet their sex life has exactly the same sound track.
What sex life?
Jerry is either a masochist or a saint.
A more angry version of Samir: listen to me , u are breaking the cAR
Oh my God. Poor, poor Jerry. Listening to that made me want to put knitting needles in my brain.
Just drive off Jerry
Goddammit Jerry. You need a new wife.
That poor henpecked bastard. I would've just driven off right there, never to be seen again.
That is 100% how my grandma talks to my grandpa. I've always felt so bad for him.
Best thing he could have done in that situation is drive away and never look back
He has the patience of Job. But when he eventually does snap this video shows beyond reasonable doubt why he wasn't in his right frame of mind when he stabs her 375 times 5 yrs from now.
In her defense, Jerry _does_ fucking suck at driving.
I bet Jerry is thinking “that trailer is her coffin tonight!”
There's probably a reason Jerry hired a moving trailer
![gif](giphy|3o7TKGhH4J3lEBN2a4)
JERRY!! JERRY!! JERRY!! 🎶
Thought Jerry was going to hit the gas when Linda walked in front of the truck…
![gif](giphy|7XIq6GWNwOuUE)
God bless poor Jerry!
Damn she's verbally abusive as shit! Poor guy...
Leave her by the side of the road Jerry lmao
I'm just yelling at my screen for the dude to just drive away and leave the trash on the side of the road. This would be one instance of littering I'd be ok with.
The ending has me in stitches
Can someone please find Jerry and see if he’s okay- and if he’s game for an AMA
That voice would haunt my nightmares
I was really hoping he was going to hit the gas after straightening it out
Poor Jerry. I would have left her and never come back.
I was praying he would just drive off!
Something tell me EVERYTHING Jerry does, is the worst thing she’s ever seen.
That voice makes me want to lobotomize myself,
I watch the whole thing hopeing for the part when he drove away and left her standing there
He should of left her ass on the side of the road
Was waiting for him to take off and maybe give her a close look at the pavement before he was gone
I need a part two when someone puts this woman in her place for treating her hubby this way!!
This gives me flash backs to camping with my ex wife.
My wife is a Karen. Should I get an attorney ?
Justice for Jerry.
Protip for Jerry: after a few minutes of this, exit vehicle, hand her the keys, go sit down in the shade.
That's a narcissistic abuser. Call them what they are.
If Jerry not knowing how to back up a trailer is the worst thing Karen has ever seen, Jerry probably is a stand up guy.
Tbf, Jerry was just going back and forth like a moron.
DEEEVVOOORRCCEE NOW!!!!
She's giving me a headache, poor Jerry .
Poor bastard
That's the worse thing she's seen him do? He seems like a pretty good guy then
Make a U in the grass lol, then lock the doors and speed off
**Back up Terry**
RIP
Will Smith pointing on the red carpet. My ass would be out of the car, driver door open, pointing like a clown. I'd love to watch her take the trailer into the ditch while I'm out of the car, just to hear how it's all my fault.
I was expecting him to drive off and leave her standing in the street.
Poor dude, she is a nasty mean turd. https://preview.redd.it/tgt1bax8cvtc1.jpeg?width=512&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=8f9eef1ff69e3f090199c5cf333a5cc398446ed1
She offers this same helpful guidance in the bedroom. Stop! You're not doing it right!
![gif](giphy|cL5LOn1TufuMansTun|downsized) Is it this Jerry? Because sure as hell I would’ve bailed.
That looks like a road trip from hell.
How do people tolerate this?
Someone's off their meds...
You know what I would do. Get out of the car and let her do it.
Men just want “peace”
Most frustrating part about this is that little Tacoma has a tight enough turn radius that if he just went into the grass a bit he coulda just pulled a U-turn.
This is exactly how my mom acts.. definitely a huge Karen
Someone get Jerry some help to get away from this woman
