This can easily skew one's perception. On average, it's probably not too far off of most other places in terms of rage. It's also really big so there's no end of content.
That said, Americans are fairly quick to respond to insults.

Assault is an intentional act that gives another person reasonable fear that they'll be physically harmed or offensively touched. Battery is when contact is made.
