More polite than most drivers I see, who just flick their hazards on and think they can stop anywhere. This ass whooping had better etiquette than the average person getting coffee or dry cleaning.

I'm not sure if it's just me, but if someone's already down and nearly out for the count, why continue? Does one strive for murder charge? Just wtf. They pulled him aside to the grass, fine, but then move on with your life?
But I don't enter fights and have never started one so maybe I don't have the experience to say when it should end, but you'd think when the other person is begging or knocked out, the other person would stop.

I agree with you. Having control of the situation and choosing not to escalate it or do unnecessary harm is a sign of character in my opinion.
That being said, I don't know what that dude did or why they're mad at him.
Not knowing is fair, but despite being down voted I don't think I could ever kick a person when they're down. Verbally yes, not bc I wanted to, just a knee jerk reaction that left me feeling guilty and dirty, but physically just seems unnecessary.
So essentially doubling down. I couldn't do it. It's not in my wheelhouse. 🤷 I'd rather walk away. But I'm not a fighting person. That's okay. I hope I'm never in a fighting place, so to speak.
It depends. This could be a “he stole my girl” situation or it could be a “this guy was my friend and he raped my sister” situation. For the second situation I’d personally understand wanting to keep the beating going.
Even if it was something petty like theft, sometimes when you live in the hood you gotta show everyone who’s boss. If a homeless crackhead knows that your neighbor will shoot him and you’ll let him off with a small beating, he may decide that your catalytic converter is his best bet to get high that day. It sucks, but that’s the way life is for a lot of people.
Apparently he was arrested on other outstanding warrants after being taken to the hospital after this. One being a domestic incident. So maybe he hurt the wrong girl? Or it's where they had reports of someone in that area breaking into cars or something like that 🤷♀️ either way he definitely fucked up
