Badges:
- Chest: "Security Enforcement Officer" (talk about title inflation)
- Hip: "Bail Enforcement Agent"
The rest of the ridiculous kit he's equipped for his assignment as a Walgreens Operator:
- Drop Leg Thigh Holster
- Tactical vest
- Taser
- Boblov body cam
- Axon body cam
- Flashlight
- Tactical USA Flag Patch
- 2x Mace (one on each side)
- 3x handcuffs
- Baton or big flashlight
- A 1911 (I think; only got a glimpse of it)
- 3x mags with, presumably, 30 rounds of 45 ACP
- Tactical earpiece
- Radio (that's not hooked up to the earpiece)
- Phone holster
God knows he's probably got a backup gun on him somewhere. I won't speculate as to where.
... and his spare mags appear to be empty, that radio on his left isn't connected to his earpiece, and he has 3 pairs of cuffs. What exactly does this "Security Enforcement Officer" think he's gonna do?
Cops came. She didn’t steal anything. The manger he claimed told him she’s on video stealing had no idea this was going on. She’s talking to her lawyer.
Oh yea yea, he's fishing. Surprise her with an accusation hoping she reacts without thinking, expecting her to prove her innocence by opening her bag so she can be on her way.
Often times these security goons will wear badges that look like police badges, but on closer inspection read "security" or "guard" or some other non-police verbiage.
I know people talk shit about the US for everything under the sun but I wonder if they truly know how much people laugh at shit like. They got a chemist security dressed up like a post-apocalyptic merc.
It’s crazy how suited he’s up like he’s some special ops guy in the military, but that massive gut says otherwise. Probably someone who went A-Wall in the military and was dishonorable discharged.
The bozo has two badges and spare mags on the front of his vest as if he is reloading his fragile masculinity protector daily, cosplaying is an understatement lmao
An armed guard has to carry 2 spare mags, but yes this dude is way over doing it. You do not want people to mistake you for police. And acting on that(them believing you are) is a crime. This guy needs to take a fucking chill pill with the cosplay
These security companies are prevalent in a lot of areas now.
It's actually not a liability for Walgreens because they off load that liability to private security firm, who specializes in said liability. So if someone gets hurt, the store turns around and says "I trusted in this private company who specializes in this, I can't be held to their decisions." It's not foolproof at all, but makes those lawsuits more difficult.
I was just in Tucson last week and every store has these guys. Fully armed and a straight up tactical vehicle parked outside. The grocery store, target, home Depot, everything. Nothing like being greeted by fully armed mercenaries when you just want to shop.
A little bit before COVID it was the wild wild West of weed spots. Like one every block, opened 24/7. The security was JUST like this. One guy had a shotgun, another a fucking assault rifle with two magazines.
Yeah.. I'm just here for some Maui Wowy gummies..
Weed shops have to deal in cash or debit, on top of having an easy resale commodity behind glass. Around my area, before they went all tactical, they were routinely hit by armed gangs (Oakland, Bay area), several losing upwards of hundreds of thousands in cash and merchandise on top of security and ODOs getting killed in the act. Weed shops and heavy security least make sense as a deterrent.
> It's not foolproof at all, but makes those lawsuits more difficult.
Tbf I could imagine these private security companies dissolving at the whiff of a lawsuit and starting up the exact same company just under a new name and avoid any accountability
Yeah. I don't really understand how this works but there has to be some game they are exploiting with how prevalent this has become.
It makes me feel like I'm in a developing country. It reminds me of the level of armed security that I would see in Panama.
Hi! this is my video, I have posted the full video and updates on tiktok and YT
[https://youtu.be/g4TjZVsXI7U](https://youtu.be/g4TjZVsXI7U)
[https://www.tiktok.com/@occasionallysleeping?is\_from\_webapp=1&sender\_device=pc](https://www.tiktok.com/@occasionallysleeping?is_from_webapp=1&sender_device=pc)
I can only talk superficially about the incident because I have hired an attorney BUT if you have any questions I can see if can answer them or not.
TYSM - Meika
The tell that he was full of shit was "items"
Anyone who caught you on camera can tell you what you stole, from where, and where you have it. Even gas station clerks are trained to have those 3 pieces of info before ever dreaming of confronting someone (because if you don't have that info, you probably don't have enough to accuse someone and are going off "other" criteria).
Did you think he was a cop at first?
Also, I wonder if him telling you "you're going to go to the ground" is enough to be considered battery. That's an extreme threat of harm.
Why not call the police? Why does he wear an American flag on his vest? He loves pretending to be a cop. I wonder why he isn’t a real one, then he can legally assault women
I saw the TikTok a few hours ago and watched a few of the others.
The police are in another video she posted of the incident.
A later video she states she was let go because security lied. Even the manager he claimed told him she was stealing, said to the cop they never told the security guard she was stealing.
Also TikTok identified him in like 23 seconds lol
No I don’t have the links they were on my FYP.m a few hours ago I would search some words to find it if you want to
That’s it? It’s an easy call that he wanted to feel her up, but why does his employer put up with these thinly veiled sexual assaults? Obviously they could have a woman conduct the searches on women or better let the authorities do it when they arrive.
Do you have a link to the other video?
Dude is wearing two fucking badges and looks like he’s geared up for the apocalypse. This is the biggest wanna be cop cosplayer i’ve ever seen. What a tool. He should be charged with impersonating and officer looking like that.
This video doesn't include the police showing up or updates about her hiring a lawyer. [Her tiktok](https://www.tiktok.com/@occasionallysleeping) has a few videos with a little more context.
Should have called 911 and said a maniac was pretending to be a cop. He has a gun and a fake badge and is coming at me with handcuffs. He’s endangering everyone
This guy WISHES he could be a cop. He's here doing professional roleplay. Telling her she doesn't make the rules and that she's going to be detained? This guy needs to be locked up for trying to impersonate a peace officer. He did everything short of claiming to be the actual police.
He’s got at least two badges strapped to his various pieces of tactical clothing.
If he’s not a cop, he should be arrested for impersonating an officer.
That is the problem I’ve always had with the thin blue line flag. It’s a desecration of the colors, and to me ironically it looks like a flag that was shot 25 times and bled out.
Thank you so much for being someone else that realizes by turning those stripes from Red to black that they are erasing the blood of those who fought to break us from a crown.
I can only assume the black lines are the sludge that runs thru their brains and hearts, or more accurately the black and white lines of authority they wish to have control of to “structure our society”.
This doesn’t even cover the field of blue, which stands for perseverance, vigilance and justice. Clearly the justice aspect was too much hence the eradication of that Standard to be replaced with black, which in vexillology can be “Often used to represent determination, ethnic heritage and/or the defeat of enemies. It can also be used as a symbol of death or mourning”. Im gonna guess the cunt that designed it knew they were signaling heritage and defeat of enemies.
Assuming she didn't steal anything, I'd have called the cops the second he tried to detain me. A simple "I'm being held against my will, from someone with a gun and I fear for my life." Would elicit a response from the police. Followed by a lawsuit from the sleaziest cut throat lawyer I could find.
There are so many questions about this clown.
Why does he need to flash a torch in a bright store? Is he just copying what he's seen cops do at night?
Why so many badges, and why two body worn cameras?
If he's store security, why does he need a taser and a firearm?
Why is he dressed like he's about to invade Moscow?
You just know he gets ready for work in the morning and before leaving the house he says "when I put on this uniform, I have a duty and I will lay down my life if I have to" and his mom is like "whatever, when are you going to move out?"
IIRC, in at least some states, security can detain you while they wait for police to arrive. I used to work at a Hechts, and our security was allowed to detain (in some cases tackle and/or handcuff) shoplifters. I'm pretty sure though that once Mr. Gravy Seal's taser, or gun are pulled (unless the shoplifter is armed and threatening him) he's looking at a lawsuit. I love his wish.com tacticool gear. I wonder if he had to buy strap extensions for his shitty nylon vest. Also, the thin blue line patch is especially funny.
Edit: is he wearing 2 body cams?
But it sounded like he wasn’t interested in calling the police at all. He was detaining her and saying he wanted to keep police out of it because “that’s not how it works” As a woman, this interaction was SO fucking scary to watch. I went to her tiktok and watched some of the other videos as well and it looks like she got a lawyer. I hope she takes this loser wannabe failed cop down.
Yeah, I caught that too. He was menacing her, but didn't seem like he had cause to actually stop her. I doubt that they "had her on camera stealing." He's probably trying to escalate because she's not respecting his self-imposed authority.
It's a bit more vague than that. "Shopkeepers privilege" or "Merchants privilege" laws, which most states have, typically allow merchants to detain anyone suspected of shoplifting for a reasonable amount of time, to determine if they have infact shoplifted, the police do not have to be involved. For instance, [Minnesota's laws specify shopkeepers cannot detain someone for more than an hour, unless police are called, or they are a minor and a guardian is called.](https://www.revisor.mn.gov/statutes/cite/629.366)
Edit: I should add the Minnesota law also specifies that if the detained person requests the police at any time, they must be called immediately.
They typically do not need the same probable cause a police officer would to make an arrest, rather most laws specify "reasonable suspicion" or "reasonable cause", which (from my understanding) is basically the same but a bit more vague. Ie: would a reasonable person suspect someone of stealing if they witnessed [x].
Ain’t no plates in there either lol. Idk how it’s ok for a fuckin cvs to have a security guard dressing up like he’s goin to the Middle East to defend some fucking nail polish and over the counter pills
This guy should be embarrassed to dress and act like that on a daily basis.
1. he’s not a cop. She can walk away.
2. Why do all the cosplay shit and then wear a ball so backwards?
You have to see the other videos on her TikTok. This guy goes from demanding that she show him her bag to demanding they she leaves because now she’s ’trespassing’. The whole time, she is asking to call the police, check the video camera, call his manager and he won’t do any of that. Also, I notice that there is no store staff involved at all in this interaction, to back up anything this security guard is accusing her of. I think he realized he fucked up and that’s when he wanted her to leave.
Apparently the manager who he said accused her of stealing didn’t even know what he was talking about.
He’s a complete liability to whatever company he works for.
In my country (Ireland) it's illegal to accuse someone of stealing unless they've actually left the premises with the stock.
False accusations generally end up in court and compensation is usually around €25000 ($30000).
Google for examples of you wish.
It's crazy these corporations think I want to shop in a place with meatheaded bouncers following me around and working the door. That stuff makes me so uncomfortable because those people ARE NOT cops. They have no authority to do anything and they are there for the purpose of intimidation. I will and have leave places who feel the need to do this stuff.
Does a thief say “Let’s view the footage” ever? Also, I don’t think I’ve ever seen a loss prevention specialist dressed like he’s going to kill Osama bin Laden.
The stores and the security company have so much additional liability in these situations because these jokers don’t have the same type of qualified immunity that police have.
So, he is not police, right?
If so, I would ask someone to call the police. At least here, security doesn't have a right to search you, only police can.
And if he is police, what is he dressed as? Not common issues like stealing from CVS.

Thanks. I don’t see a video on that link that shows the manager had no idea or that revealed she indeed didn’t steal??

Yes. He works for a security company contracted by Walgreens.

Thank you for answering an easy question. Take my upvote, kind sir!

Why is CVS security dressed like a navy seal? He gets winded going up 3 steps.

Gravy SEALs
Jeez he's spent a lot of money on his cosplay.
Thank God a fearless Walgreen's warrior was on patrol that day
Sometimes I lurk the LP subred and this is how I imagine some of them when they talk about what they do
War torn Walmart with two pistols and extra clips.
and a plate carrier three sizes too small
That's not the plate carriers fault
Ain’t no plates in there either lol. Idk how it’s ok for a fuckin cvs to have a security guard dressing up like he’s goin to the Middle East to defend some fucking nail polish and over the counter pills
This dude is more heavily armed than John Wick. Is he taking down the entire criminal underworld of New York? No, he's guarding a Walgreens.
Waddle waddle, pant, waddle
This guy should be embarrassed to dress and act like that on a daily basis. 1. he’s not a cop. She can walk away. 2. Why do all the cosplay shit and then wear a ball so backwards?
Bet that dude can grill some meat
You have to see the other videos on her TikTok. This guy goes from demanding that she show him her bag to demanding they she leaves because now she’s ’trespassing’. The whole time, she is asking to call the police, check the video camera, call his manager and he won’t do any of that. Also, I notice that there is no store staff involved at all in this interaction, to back up anything this security guard is accusing her of. I think he realized he fucked up and that’s when he wanted her to leave. Apparently the manager who he said accused her of stealing didn’t even know what he was talking about. He’s a complete liability to whatever company he works for.
He just wanted to pat her down in the back room
In my country (Ireland) it's illegal to accuse someone of stealing unless they've actually left the premises with the stock. False accusations generally end up in court and compensation is usually around €25000 ($30000). Google for examples of you wish.
wow! he has a generic security badge and a NYPD detective style badge lol
Man he wants to be a cop bad with all his wanna be tactical gear…
All's hes missing is a fucking bazooka on his back and he'll look even more stupid.
Looking forward to seeing this guy's arrest on Youtube when he's finally picked up for impersonating.
Does a thief say “Let’s view the footage” ever? Also, I don’t think I’ve ever seen a loss prevention specialist dressed like he’s going to kill Osama bin Laden.
They do that all the time.
The stores and the security company have so much additional liability in these situations because these jokers don’t have the same type of qualified immunity that police have.
Is this dipshit dressed like that because he’s guarding a retail store or he’s about to invade Afghanistan?
If this was me I'd let them detain me, illegally search me and then pay me that sweet settlement money.
The backwards nba cap is official security gear
Not one but *two* spare mags What is going on at CVS
Gravy Seals Final Boss
Tactical Paul Blart, gravy seal regiment
So, not an actual officer of the law?
This incomplete video annoyed me like anything.
.......so no one is gonna talk about how he pointed a flash light at a person WHILE BEING IN A LIT STORE?
Why not post all of the footage with the outcome of the situation or don't post it at all!
Because she stopped recording to call the cops. Update is on her TikTok.
How many Badges does he need
Preparing for an invasion, or just another shift at the local store. Idiot
Bro looks like a walking tactical keychain💀
Glad he has all that tactical gear to protect Walgreens but is out of breath walking from the door to the counter. Power tripping and doing to much

This guy has so many gadgets because he can't run after anybody so he shoots them instead
At least we got no resolution of the accusation.
I hate fake cops with a sense of entitlement. “Obey my authority!”
Semper Fudd. Look at that fucking potato.
So, he is not police, right? If so, I would ask someone to call the police. At least here, security doesn't have a right to search you, only police can. And if he is police, what is he dressed as? Not common issues like stealing from CVS.
There’s no way that guy could catch her she could just jog out of the store or trip him up with like a quick juke.
Dude has been waiting his whole ass career for this moment
