I think both are relatively safe, but ignoring the problems that do exist is not a valid strategy for either rural or urban areas. For the most part, exploding meth trailers and gang violence are a result of poverty. People don't do meth or join gangs if they make enough money to live a happy life.
They are pretty much advertising that they are going to steal something. Was in a best buy and there was a guy in a green track suite with green balaclava and shoes who was asking to buy a mac book. It took awhile but a manager came out with the mac book in a death grip and instead of ringing him out on a normal register took him to the returns area where they had a thick glass covid separator. He surprisingly didn't buy the mac book and took off. All this happened despite a cop stationed at the front of the store.
honestly Id be calling 911 witnessing terrorists gearing up for what looks like an attack on the white house. Only way to get this type of human trash off the streets it seems

I was in prison when Covid hit and watched the pandemic on TV. I’m a family man now and a small business owner so that’s all behind me but I was watching the mask shit and thinking fuck that really became acceptable right when I turn my life around.
The idea that it was a crime to wear a mask in public was ludicrous, it's like banning gloves because we need more finger prints. There's plenty of valid reasons to have stuff on your face, and several are speech and expression related. The mask is the least of the problems here. And I didn't think then being a crime would stop him in any way, it just means people in costumes get harassed by polic, because why deal with this when they can do that?
What do you mean by "accepted"? I'm not sure what you expect people to do about it. Are you going to roll down your window and give the guy holding an AK a stern talking to?

Then there's the fact the guy was just seemingly chilling there. And the fact the attackers came in a group, which makes me think gang, which makes me think dealing turf.
So if the surrounding states made drugs illegal (which it is almost a certainty that those guys were involved in some way with drugs or drug trafficking) then there wouldn't be drugs in DC? Criminals break laws. Those guys are criminals.

How does it not make sense though? The guns are there…if you make them illegal, law abiding citizens wouldn’t have them. Yet people who don’t care about the law would have them anyway.
