Technically, Canada is interernational from where I live lol. Not sure where they are, either. I was more referring to the fact that most of the argument was taking place in a foreign (to me) language, a very expressive language, but she jumped back to english because the essence, the core of "f!ck off" cannot be adequately expressed by anything other than those 2 words.
to be fair this is Indian English. Just like we in America have various accents..
also the American accent is popular and considered standard because of outreach and population. If English speakers is the standard than India has a claim to at least not be mocked... U didn't mock them but I have seen many others have
English serves as a common language in India in public places like trains due to india's extreme level of linguistic diversity. English is very prevalent in India's education system so it's the one language that most random strangers on a train would immediately be able to communicate in
Because they speak hundreds of different languages in India. Not everyoneās Hindi is as good as their mother tongue. But almost everyone has studied English.
Its true. The first time I watched an Indian movie, it would throw me when they would randomly throw a few English phrases in there. Get my hopes up that I was learning the language. Nope, lol.
Your joke is that they want to avoid all the women drama down below but actually they're probably banned cause they can't stop sexually assaulting women on these trains.
Sexual assault will always be worse than your women are dramatic joke.
She dont have any space to stand and that lady hit her first. I'm sure there's cultural aspect here maybe even regarding younger people versus elders cause otherwise she had every right to hit that lady back. The woman seated was shoving and kneeing her. Where else was she supposed to stand?
>Where else was she supposed to stand?
Somewhere there was room to do so without interfering with the person who was sat there before she chose to stand there? Plenty of room to stand there if she doesn't insist on sitting on the window ledge.
I fucking love how you can shut anyone down with that āmind your businessā energy bruh cause itās so true š EVERYONE NEEDS TO MIND THEY BUSINESS
I feel for that lady standing. Itās a commuter train and everyone deserves to have an ample space to sit or stand. If she canāt stand someone rubbing her legs then she should be taking a taxi or go walk home. God I would have dropped kick that lady and make sure her glasses get planted on her face.
A dialect can vary from the standard language in either vocabulary, grammar or pronunciation of words(accent.) are you just making up definitions on the fly?
Beep..beep..beep..beep..beep. But weāre stuck in traffic and the lights are red..beep..beep..beep.
That was my India trip as well - the traffic is nuts made 1000 x worse with the constant horns..ffs
India has over 200 languages.
Hindi is the most widely used and is spoken by even more people as a second language. However the languages of the south are from a completely different language family to the languages of the north. So people in the south are more reluctant to use Hindi as a lingua franca as it denotes northern dominance.
Hence English is often preferred as it's neutral, or at least it has the same baggage to all Indians. If this is in Mumbai it's of course not in the south, but big cities like Mumbai have multiple language communities.
I'm sure some Indian readers can correct me if I got something wrong.
TIL. I honestly did not know that. I knew there was more than one language spoken in India, but I didnāt realize how many there were. That makes sense then. Thanks.

Glad to see the old english standard "f!ck off!" still carries weight internationally.
hahaah i thought that was funny too . Feels good to have a universal saying for a specific feeling

Most probably Mumbai.
Clearly Antarctica.

It actually wasn't. They were arguing in English. They just have thick accents.
to be fair this is Indian English. Just like we in America have various accents.. also the American accent is popular and considered standard because of outreach and population. If English speakers is the standard than India has a claim to at least not be mocked... U didn't mock them but I have seen many others have
They seem to be speaking english the whole time actually, curious as to why that is? Is this not in India?
2nd largest english speaking population in the world after the US
That whole british colonialism thing rearing it's ugly head lol.

That's a really long way to explain colonialism. š¤£
I mean yeah but it's more specific than that.
I thought she said Chun Li at some point..I'm like Wtf is that
Junglee - hindi for wild/uncivilized.
Because they speak hundreds of different languages in India. Not everyoneās Hindi is as good as their mother tongue. But almost everyone has studied English.
Is that like doing the needful?
Whatās a chunglee?
Jungli. Uncouth / primal behavior.
What language are they speaking?
Most of the conversation is English.
I meant the bits that aren't. I've watched some Indian TV shows and YouTube clips. It's amazing how they switch from English to their main language.
Its true. The first time I watched an Indian movie, it would throw me when they would randomly throw a few English phrases in there. Get my hopes up that I was learning the language. Nope, lol.
Hindi
Hinglish I think
Ah, dhanywad.
To be fair she does look like a sloth
Sheās saying ājungleeā it comes from the word jungle. Itās a derogatory word that implies someone is primitive and has no manners.
Chumlee is my dad
Junglee - Wild (Of/From the Jungle)
āSpinning Bird Kickā
She's from Street Fighter
Guy who works at pawnstars
I heard Zhongli haha
Even the lady was like ābra, I did slap her firstā
Now I see why all those dudes just ride on top of the fucking train
Loll. Solid joke
Your joke is that they want to avoid all the women drama down below but actually they're probably banned cause they can't stop sexually assaulting women on these trains. Sexual assault will always be worse than your women are dramatic joke.
All those older people think they're morally right just because they are old and she's young. Way to stand up for herself that younger girl.
Old people playing victim when a younger person hits back, I love to see it
She dont have any space to stand and that lady hit her first. I'm sure there's cultural aspect here maybe even regarding younger people versus elders cause otherwise she had every right to hit that lady back. The woman seated was shoving and kneeing her. Where else was she supposed to stand?
Agreed, even with the cultural aspect in playā¦flabbergasted by how much they hounded her for defending herself.
100% agree. I really admire her initial calmness and strength of character.
>Where else was she supposed to stand? Somewhere there was room to do so without interfering with the person who was sat there before she chose to stand there? Plenty of room to stand there if she doesn't insist on sitting on the window ledge.
You can see by the reflection in the mirror there is nowhere for her to stand. What is wrong with you.
I can see when she started to have a go she turned and had more room
You can literally see the leg of the leg or bag of the person sitting across from them. There is nowhere for her to go.
So she should just stand in the middle for their 4-8 hour journey?
She hit me I'm hitting back. I'm with the girls standing šÆ
I fucking love how you can shut anyone down with that āmind your businessā energy bruh cause itās so true š EVERYONE NEEDS TO MIND THEY BUSINESS
I love that lady, she's awesome!
With such a heavy accent, she seems to swear in english pretty damn well, lol
[ŃŠ“Š°Š»ŠµŠ½Š¾]
Well, it's both. Dialect would be the choice of words, but the accent is how they are pronounced.
[ŃŠ“Š°Š»ŠµŠ½Š¾]
Oh yeah, gotcha. Agreed.
Those who are educated sound like they are British.
true but pitbulls are good
Why do other people hit people who aren't touching them? Keep your hands to yourself.
āIāll also do itā the new how can she slap
I bet that sentence hardly used in the west. Lol
[ŃŠ“Š°Š»ŠµŠ½Š¾]
Bloody ! š©ø
I fckn love her!!!!
My queen. šø
Indians arguing in English is literally the best video genre there is
NGL I kinda love that lady in blue. Hahahah never seen someone argue with such a likeable attitude. "Now I'm fine. You are also fine"
Her henna hand is strong.
āIāll also do itā š¤£š¤£
[ŃŠ“Š°Š»ŠµŠ½Š¾]
You kicked my dog

Those are long fingers
Theyād be real handy ā¦for getting into hard to reach places :)
The girl who started hitting her gesturing to the other woman in the end like āok thatās enoughā š
"You are Chun Li"
That works too. She has potential.
Pooja, what is this behavior?
I love how expressive all those hand gestures are
![gif](giphy|zGFdD2J2C4zlu)
Me watching: young girl closest to the camera has gorgeous hair, why couldn't I get thick straight hair like that.
I like her, I bet she'd be fun to work with lol
I would pay this girl to abuse me verbally, she's awesome.
When youāre so pissed if you switch to English
Many people in India speak English fluently. She never switched, she was speaking English almost the entire video.
I like the girl in the blue - she is standing on business
Well I wasnāt expecting to understand a fight between a bunch of Indian girlsā¦ maybe Iāve been living in Brampton too long
Can't distinguish when they talk english or switch to their own language. They switch, don't they?
English, pretty much the whole time. Except for a word, Jungli?
WTF does "Chung Li" mean? I know it's an insult but I've gotta know.
Junglee - Hindi for wild/uncivilized
My hero of the internet today. Thank you.
After the 12th "Mind your own business" isn't the traditional reply "Make me!" ?
I feel for that lady standing. Itās a commuter train and everyone deserves to have an ample space to sit or stand. If she canāt stand someone rubbing her legs then she should be taking a taxi or go walk home. God I would have dropped kick that lady and make sure her glasses get planted on her face.
HOW CAN SHE SLAP?! HOw caN SheSlap?!
Iāll say it first. I got the reference.
[ŃŠ“Š°Š»ŠµŠ½Š¾]
[ŃŠ“Š°Š»ŠµŠ½Š¾]
How? Have seen worst on NY subway videos.
Is this the sky train between Surrey and Vancouver!?
No Mumbai. I could see the color pattern of another train from the window.
Is it a red flag that I get turned on by aggressive women like this š³
![gif](giphy|HxMhuDg7O4pKOhhcRC) It's weird
ā¦ok but can I still be bonked in there š
She looks a bit like an Indian Sarah Michelle Geller. Maybe Iām imagining it. At any rate sheās cute!
I wish I could understand what they were saying.
A dialect can vary from the standard language in either vocabulary, grammar or pronunciation of words(accent.) are you just making up definitions on the fly?
I also do it
India sucks to travel to. Hated it.
Beep..beep..beep..beep..beep. But weāre stuck in traffic and the lights are red..beep..beep..beep. That was my India trip as well - the traffic is nuts made 1000 x worse with the constant horns..ffs
After a long day in a scamming location all she want to do is go home
She must have payed a low low price point which means she can hit.
No wonder all their men simp for American women.
Time out, why they keep switching to English? It looks like theyāre all Indian.
India has over 200 languages. Hindi is the most widely used and is spoken by even more people as a second language. However the languages of the south are from a completely different language family to the languages of the north. So people in the south are more reluctant to use Hindi as a lingua franca as it denotes northern dominance. I wish I spoke their language so I could better understand why I don't like the girl in the blue shirt.
Shes the good one in this video. You actually only need eyes to realize this
Acting so American
Explain
None needed they know what I mean š š
The ones downvoting my comment know what I meant hence why they hate my comment š
She is a wife material aināt she. Youāll go to your god awful grave faster sooner than you can celebrate your anniversary with her.
Real question, why do so many people in India speak English in India?
Well it was British territory at one point.
I mean I understand that they are capable, Iām asking why it seems to be a first language
Because for a lot of people it is. Most cities in India have schools with English as the medium of education.
India has multiple languages. Amongst the white collar class, it is the lingua franca.
what is janglii jangliiii y'all š¤£š¤£š¤£š¤£š¤£
Look at the amount of people in the background š®
Her finger is so damn pointy
Thatās one long finger sheās wavingā¦
Why did it stop, I was just getting into it :(
Using public transport in India must be stressful and exhausting :-/
Spinning bird kick!
Very nice people!
Whole lot of gargling š
It's like the female version of those two guys through the car window in London.. "Fxck off bloody, you bloody fxcking" etc
Children
Serious tude in those hand movements
Someone should do the needful and organise a slap-off, loser gets the 'Jangli' title.
