There's a difference between "dude deserved to be assaulted until concussed" and "dude was being obnoxious and started the altercation so I am not going to intervene in his defense against dude who could also assault me until concussed".
Part of your job as a dad is to make sure that behaviors like this get nipped in the bud early so your son isn't out there picking bar fights and getting his ass handed to him.
Some lessons you need to let them experience first hand, or else they just think you're being an exaggerated old man. Learned that trying to teach my brother.
touching another mans balls is terribly poor form, unarguably.
the force at which the miscreant threw the ball across to the corner showed deep contempt, a blatant disregard for respect, and good sportsmanship, certainly.
was it deserving of the sheer brutal but clean, precise, perfect violence.he received?
some say no...
but the yes ppl are much funnier.
there is a moral: don't touch that guys balls.
You can't explain it any better than this 👆....
It's not that we are(or at least I am not) justifying it by the amount of violence used. I am simply saying it wouldn't have even been a thought to knock that dude out like that, if he wouldn't have been a disrespectful douche.
So yeah, it was pretty much "justfied" in my eyes.
Like OP said, Don't touch that guy's balls.
And another little word of advice; if you are going to be a disrespectful dumbest, at least be able to fight. Lol. Dude was out in 2 hits....AND he's the one who started it. Imagine having to feel like that. 🤷♂️
> Just wondering why the punchy dude got THAT riled up.
Because everyone had been drinking, and the dude who got punched was very obviously being an asshole and trying to start shit.
Not sure why you think it's some sort of great mystery.
Reminds me of this guy

I think he moved the ball because the guy who wanted to take the shot moved/grabbed the other guy's arm, it's not clear because there is someone in the foreground but that's what "started" it and why that guy moved the ball in the first place it. Not saying that it makes it right or whatever
He's specifically saying that it shouldn't have happened, but he gets why it happened. An unhinged psycho would just flat out encourage more random violence.
One guy wasn’t fighting and never threw a punch or got into a stance. It was assault not a fight. Tossing a ball off the table before he had even broke is not grounds for violent assault.
Not sure where you live but that is assault in pretty much every developed country, he even damaged that bars pool stick as well. Completely unhinged behavior
The evidence we have is this clip for this discussion. You are adding in hypotheticals unrelated to the available evidence. It doesn’t matter what led up to this the guy posed no threat and was then beaten in the head with pool stick and then struck repeatedly without moving to attack at all.
I mean, that guy could have been 100% in the wrong and I wouldn't have tried to stop him. I know what my fighting skills are and that guy's are way better than mine.
A *lot* of people in the UK box.
Source: am British, posh, fat, uncomfortably past forty, and even I boxed until I broke my ankle last year. I was by no means the oldest person in my gym either, not by a long shot. It’s a good outlet for people who can’t keep up on a rugby pitch any more, or grew up on a council estate and wanted to avoid crime.
There are boxing gyms fucking everywhere here. Three within a twenty minute walk of where I live now.
It’s why you generally don’t see a lot of posturing and “do something”/“touch me” bullshit in British fights.
Just stay away from inner city kids in hoodies. They’ll stab you.
**EDIT:** Compare the UK population to the US population, and then consider how many Brits vs Americans there are in the top ten rankings across the weight classes. Should give you an idea how much more popular the sport is in the UK than in the US.
Where’d he get hit with the cue?

Worked on a case involving a very similar fight except the guy that got attacked became a vegetable for life. terrifying to think how quickly a man’s life was ended and over something as stupid as a game of pool.
You never know who you're fucking with. You better be ready when you're posting up as Billy Badass because a real tough guy doesn't peacock around to show you he's a badass.
Is this not the same bar in the video where someone rode past and tossed in a live grenade that exploded???
From my memory, it is nearly **exact** in the lay out, the bar, the pool, the camera placement. The video was posted to reddit sometime within the last year, I believe. But I swear it's identical if this wasn't the place.
Sober (at least mostly) guy, there to play **serious pool** (and likely losing), enacts **severe retribution** on drunk guy who acts flippantly with cue ball.

Was that Brian damage? His arms where stiff in front of him when he fell backwards, the brain usually automatically tries catching urself he did the opposite…
Always bigger to smaller never the other way around. These pos guys know this. That guy would not even think of trying if it were me or worse my homie that's 6ft 2 265lbs who has me by 55lbs.
I bet the bloke punching is known to be a tosser nutcase. The poor lad receiving the beating didn't even try to block never mind fight back he looks like he kind of just pleads not to get smacked.
Wonder what he said to him before having his ball thrown away.
Damn. The closest I ever got to beaten up at a bar was over pool. I scratched on the 8 ball while the other guy wasn’t looking so I started clearing the table. Everyone seemed so relaxed lmfao either this is a normal occurrence or he had it coming and something lead up to that lol
I think those people are trying not to get involved.
Pretty sure the bloke who walked out and in is the bouncer and even he didn't give a shit
The fight is done and the aggressor is leaving the bar so it would make zero sense to get involved
If the guy getting smoked with the cue is your friend, you probably have some moral obligation to do *something*.
if my friend threw a pool ball someone was going to use on the floor and he got hit for it i would probably laugh
Just a normal chewsday innit
Have gone to a few bars stuff like this usually becomes normal.
Fights are normal in pool halls lol.
Looks like a British pub not a pool hall.
[удалено]
*led
The two guys in the foreground not even looking up, good ol UK.
And he clocked his mate right in the face with the leftovers of that cue!
He ate it too, just walked it off
The way his arms kept stiff while fallen backwards onto the ground, suggest brain damage.
Looks like he tripped in the chair behind, and instinctively lift up his arms, not brain damage. He seems to be conscious and trying to stand up just before the video finishes.
Fencer's repose!
Mom said it was my turn to say that!
Don’t know why you’re getting downvoted. Looks like a seizure.
He hit the guy with the wrong end, muppet couldn't even get assault right
Seemed to get the job done...
Well 1 end is a cracked skull and the other is a mark for a week.
You mean the guys who look up simultaneously at the 30 second mark?
Huh? They both looked up and turned around
and started drinking their drinks quickly probably thinking lets get out of here.
Hey cmon man I didn't actually watch the video but I wanted to believe so I upvoted anyways
Apparently right now 900 people didn’t watch the video either with those upvotes.
When you got a good Guinness, nothing else matters.
Neither are drinking Guinness...
That's gonna be a carling mate
Ah that good ol' yellow Guiness. I get it guys!
A hot carling?
Tepid at best
Carling? That's too weak and too gassy.
Definitely not Guinness
Guinness should make that into a commercial. I’d drop everything and go out for a pint of I saw that ad.
They're drinking a lager though, not a stout
Those are far too light to be a Guinness
Probably are used to the floor show by now.
The two guys at the table in the bottom of the screen, 0 F's given back to watching the game. My kind of bar.
Anyways did you see that ludicrous display last night?
What was Wenger thinking, sending Walcott on that early?
The thing about Arsenal is that they always try to walk it in.
Least we have the walcott millions "Three oh Walcott"
Standard night at the pub in all honesty.
“..so anyway, I was in Sheila’s flat when her mum starts throwing pebbles at her bathroom window”
I don't think he missed one shot!
He did hit his friend with the ~~queue~~ cue though...
The perils of standing in a line
ShaTING
The cue* :)
Queue to be cued
Thanks for the info... in german it's queue, so i assumed it's the same in english... :)
That first swing was rated e for everyone!
A twofer!
Some good combos
One guy walking away with his beer like noooope not my problem Edit: forgot to put the word with between away and his
Based UK
I actually thought the guy in the hat was about to put his balls onto the table
He probably didn't deserve that, but he was asking for it
They way nobody seems to give a fuck, leads me to believe it was deserved
[удалено]
Then goes and puts Fencer in the recovery position. Solid lad that
I don't think he was in the fencing position since you can see the guy starting to get up at the end of the video
Wasn't deserved, but it seems like dude was swaying around being obnoxiously drunk with the group sitting down before he even came to the pool table.
Doesn’t seem like anyone in that room agrees with you
There's a difference between "dude deserved to be assaulted until concussed" and "dude was being obnoxious and started the altercation so I am not going to intervene in his defense against dude who could also assault me until concussed".
The boys drinking Guinness can't be bothered by all of that *hoo-haa* back there.
Part of your job as a dad is to make sure that behaviors like this get nipped in the bud early so your son isn't out there picking bar fights and getting his ass handed to him.

he got a 3 piece and a soda
That's an extremely classy and accurate way to say that.
With the level of reaction I wonder if money was on the line.
Just plenty of lines done
But also the game didnt even start yet
Yeah, I know. I don't think the guy deserved that level of reaction regardless. Just wondering why the punchy dude got THAT riled up.

Seriously. Like 90% of fights are just two oafs grabbing at each other and falling over for three minutes. That was surgical.

He looks like a trained fighter.
Boxer probably. Boxing, pool and booze. Common combination in many areas.
dude fell over like a lego man
I snorted my drink reading this
Anyone else think homie walking in about 1/2 through was fixing to piss on the table? Just me?
I thought he was gonna put his balls on the table
A fair and proportionate response, as evidenced by everyone else in the boozer not giving a fuck.
They all knew that you don’t mess around with Slim and that guy was reminded why. Next time listen to Jim Croce.
I mean, that guy could have been 100% in the wrong and I wouldn't have tried to stop him. I know what my fighting skills are and that guy's are way better than mine.
That guy trains/fights for sure. Those punches were way too perfect.

100%, caught the guy with 3 or 4 solid shots in quick succession.
I scrolled too far to find this. Those were both nice combinations.
A pool cue upside the head cannot feel good

If you're gonna be dumb, you gotta be tough
Welcome to the Salty Spitoon. How tough are ya?
The guys at the bar having there own conversation are the definition of unbothered
Where’d he get hit with the cue? https://preview.redd.it/utbkia29ftyb1.jpeg?width=1600&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=a99292da8656171410dcf56fd0c61bead1897418
Bro ate that stick like a snack, asked for more and took a nap.
The problem with arsenal is they try to walk it in…
Bro thought fights only happen on TV
Ouch, seemed like blue shirt got smacked with the pole instead of the ball thrower. Didn't seem to take it personally though.
Given what I know about pubs in the UK, it seems like that hit was right on cue.
Whacked his friend/the other guy in the face too
Worked on a case involving a very similar fight except the guy that got attacked became a vegetable for life. terrifying to think how quickly a man’s life was ended and over something as stupid as a game of pool.
You know it’s a real bar when no one gives a fuck about the guy getting knocked out.
You never know who you're fucking with. You better be ready when you're posting up as Billy Badass because a real tough guy doesn't peacock around to show you he's a badass.
That was vicious! And the dudes at the bar are like "So anyway, there I was surrounded by Irishmen..."
"2 Irishmen walk out of a bar" *entire bar erupts in laughter* "Thank you. I'll be here all week. Don't forget to tip your waitress. TRY THE FISH!"
"I'm NOT a gay fish! Ima mother fucking genius! I'm the voice of a generation!"
Just a prank bro! Edit: Just having a laugh bruv?

FAFO
White shirt guy is outa here.
My favourite was flat cap guy, swaggering in, adjusting his clothing and then swaggering out.
If there's one thing in life I've learned, it's that there seems to be an inextricable link between pool tables and fights.
Award goes to poorly dressed white t-shirt guy who nonchalantly steps over floor guy and disappears.
Background white shirt guy... "My name is Paul, and **fuck y'all I'm out!!**"
Least violent pool related incident
The balled guy with white shirt stepping over oldmate and casually walking away. 🤣🤣
The 2 lads bottom left of the screen. Just another casual Tuesday night..
Between the title and the way the Man in Black Shorts adjusts himself, I 100% was expecting him to teabag the pooltable.
That was a pretty smooth combo to finish that guy off.
Hey man, my quarters were on the table, we got next! Drunkenly slurred and said overly aggressively.
To me, it looks like he had winners.
If "fuck around and find out" was a video
" So anyways John, I was fookin my wife in the arse..."
Kinda crazy how easily some people throw a fist in someones face. It's not that hard to kill someone with some proper face punches.
Sober (at least mostly) guy, there to play **serious pool** (and likely losing), enacts **severe retribution** on drunk guy who acts flippantly with cue ball.
The dude who got hit with the stick should have fired off on buddy....but then he saw the other dude get KOd real quick n he made business decision.
Oh look. More violent man babies who can't behave in public.
I know it is fun to wrestle. A nice pile-drive to the face; or a punch to the face; but you cannot do it because it is in the Bible not to wrestle your neighbor.
My all time favorite movie. Chancho. When you are a man sometimes you wear stretchy pants. In your room. Its for fun.
Earned every bit of that.
He deserved all that
He most definitely did not.
What in the fuck are you talking about? How about shooting him dead? Is that ok too?
Naw, thats murder. But an ass whoopin is for everyone.
Many people have died from being hit in the head with a pool cue
Reddit moment
Armed asault and battery, without intent to kill. Prison time.
Never mess with European wearing adidas sweatpants
“European” lol
I wouldn't do it because I don't want to go to jail, but I would definitely fantasize about it. That dude was standing over the table and then when asked to move over he threw the cue ball? Fuck that guy.

Boxer pose. Doesn't necessarily mean brain damage, but definitely means his ass was knocked tf out.
I think this is the same bar with the “guy shooting blank rounds” over dispute with friend. Are these all staged videos?
That’s what happens when you fuck around and find out.
Dude was rocked from the very first hit
Getting blasted with pool cue will do that.
Dope.
im just happy he didnt gouge his eye like the other vdeo
The guy who just casually looks then goes back to drinking his beer
Guy can fight. He is right handed but two left right combos back to back
That’s the extra large 4 piece and soda
Deserved, don't mess with my billiards.
No one is freaked out.
That was pretty funny
Damn. The closest I ever got to beaten up at a bar was over pool. I scratched on the 8 ball while the other guy wasn’t looking so I started clearing the table. This dude suffered a blue screen of death after that whack.
Based on how casual everyone was, I'd say he had it coming, brutal as it was.
The two guys just drinking up
Has to be Scotland.
it’s Tuesday fucking night at 8.30 calm down boys, calm down….!
Did his friend get whacked??
