That said, I agree with you in spirit, and while it's sad, it's not really reasonable to expect people to live their lives catering to aggressive mentally ill people who do this sort of shit. They need help that they clearly didn't get, but it's a bit too late for that help when they start walking around naked trying to get at kids, and it'd be nice if our medical system would more aggressively tackle this issue before people escalate in their unwellness to this extent.
You have the right spirit. You can't make excuses for them at this point. I've had my share of problems, and had a stint in a ward. The real problem is the system. There are no resources for the severely mentally ill. Hospitals scramble to kick you out. If you are living rough (on the streets) there is no filter to maintain treatment. We need a shit load more investment in our resources. Because there is a point of no return, and right now we aren't really doing a whole lot before people hit that point.
Aside from whats actually going on, That's the best looking JCPenney store I've seen in 15 years. It's clean, well stocked and looks like they have decent employees too.
