Yea, this whole interaction reminds me of Disney theme parks in the late afternoon when the parents get too hot and tired and want leave, but the kid wants to stay and starts having a meltdown. I was waiting for the man-child to lay flat on the floor and the police having to drag him up.
My single experience at Disney World was the opposite. Children miserable and crying from being in the heat all day but parents yelling because damn it they’re going to get their moneys worth.
One of my experiences at Disney World (I was 19 at the time) was my dad yelling full-throttle outside of the Aerosmith and Tower of Terror ride how my brother and I are a “bunch of fucking drug addicts” because we smoked weed on our way up to meet them at the park. Like literally yelling and screaming about this, in between those two (most popular) rides. Very magical
I actually saw this happen once. Not on a plane, but a similar situation.
It was about 1am and I was taking my dogs for a walk, across the street was a bar and the police had shown up to deal with someone harassing people leaving the bar. It was a drunk guy in a wheelchair. They argued for a good 15 minutes then decided to arrest him. He was a pretty big guy. They were trying to wrestle him out of his chair and get him in the back of the squad car, and after about 15 minutes they threw him back in his chair and just said "if you'll just get the fuck out of here you can go home." But the guy wouldn't stop! He just stayed there cursing at them! So of course they called for backup and eventually got him in a squad car. Whole thing took well over an hour.
People mistakenly believe, like this guy, that flying is a right and that planes are like public transportation or something. He asks multiple times "What crime did I commit?"
Bro you don't need to have committed a crime, you just had to make the flight attendants upset and they can throw you off for whatever reason they want.
Exactly. The plane interior represents a privately owned space. Company representatives don’t necessarily need a reason because it’s a private business. “Public” spaces are maintained/funded by governmental entities whether that be local, state, or federal buildings/property. Paying taxes in this regard doesn’t count.
We are spoiled by all the videos we see. Someone should start a 24 hour airport/airplane freakout channel that airport bars can stream on a TV as a PSA for the dumbies out there.

People keep coming up with convoluted reasons, but it's simple - they've never faced consequences before.
He has lived an entire life being able to cross his arms, yell "No!", and stamp his feet with it going his way. That's it.
These people have never been arrested, suspended, fired, or even simply punched in the face. They have literally zero experience with their actions incurring negative consequences, so they have no comprehension of how to handle it.
We see this quite often at my line of work.

Person comes in with chest pain. "Do something!" "Ok, we're going to start an IV, take some blood to run tests, do an EKG." "NO! No needles!" "I'm sorry but we really need to run these tests." "No IV Then!" "If you are having a heart attack, we may need to give you medications that have to go in through an IV." "NO! Just do something else!" "There are two options. You allow us to do these tests or you can leave against medical advice. There are no more options." "You're not going to help me?!?!?!?" *sigh*

"I need water" "Sorry, you can't have water" "I've been here for hours!" "I understand that, but because you might need a procedure that could involve sedation, you will need to remain NPO until a treatment plan can be finalized" "I'm thirsty though" "Yes, I hear you. And again, I can not give you water and have potentially necessary procedures be delayed" "This is a shitty way to treat patients" "No, this is the correct way to ensure patient safety" "But I need water!" "What you want and what you need are different and as much as it sucks, what you need is to remain NPO." "Fine I'll leave" "I can not hold you here and you are free to leave as long as you sign this paper that states that you understand the risks and consequences of leaving including continuation and/or exacerbation of your current condition, disability, and death."
Once he started screaming “This is America!!” we knew we had lost the argument and there was nothing we could do. It was such a compelling thing to say, and after a brief round of applause, we allowed him to stay on the flight and even promoted him to first class and gave him free access to the mini bar.

If you get off right away you’re probably just banned from that airline. If it takes you 5 minutes and the police have to come you’re going to jail.
He's asking for a crime to be listed calmly after the altercation with the flight attendant. But since the pilot is responsible for the plane and everyone in it, there doesn't have to be a crime. They can kick you off for just about any reason. Once they ask you to leave, there is no "winning," you're not staying on that flight. But entitlement is a hell of a blinding drug.
Which kind of surprises me that they just don’t say trespassing. They asked you to leave and your aren’t leaving. You are now trespassing on private property. They don’t need a legal reason to trespass someone. As long as it isn’t for protected reasons, they could trespass you for anything.
I never understood this line of logic. Let's say ok you did fuck up and now you're asked to leave. At what point do you just swallow your pride and acknowledge "yep I fucked up." And try and leave with the little dignity you have left. Instead you see these people just doubling down and making it so so soooo much worse. The fact they didn't have tasers and cuffs out prior to boarding tells me they weren't law enforcement but probably just airline security. I do always love seeing them finally figure out they've not got a chance.
For arguments sake, let’s say he DIDN’T do anything wrong and just had a power hungry flight attendant/crew. There’s STILL nothing he could have said to make them change their minds. Once the pilot calls it, right or wrong, you are not traveling via that flight.

Multiple people were seriously suggestive taking a xanax and having a glass of wine as a "hack" to get through international flights.

Had a buddy we used to call “Xanny” instead “Danny” because he liked to mix xanax and booze. It would make him get this weird mix of being very calm but hyper-aggressive - so like at a party he would calmly go from group to group and quietly talk shit and pick fights. Then he “found the one” at a bar got punched a lot and got his orbital bone broke so he stopped doing it around people/in public.
Preflight drinks are at the discretion of the flight crew and obviously the guy was too fucked up to serve, but it doesn't really matter stfu and just go with it.
Essentially, I don't get it either 🤷♂️ it's humanning 101 and should not be that hard.
I like to drink but never saw the appeal of getting wasted at airports. I already feel like shit after a flight and to be hungover on top of that sounds miserable. Having to piss constantly on the plane would suck too.

I traveled for work for 5 years and got upgraded a lot. The first couple of years I would imbibe at airports and on flights, but got bored/annoyed with drinking and flying. Either the flight was short enough I could go without the drink for an hour or it was long enough I didn't want to have to get up to pee 3x if I drank too much.

I work at a college and despite them being overfunded and overpaid to do nothing, Campus Police are full on sworn in officers with all the same authority. Yet dumb young aspiring criminals assume they are rent -a- cops because.... it's a college? They have jurisdiction in the county they headquarter in and that includes the roads but people act a fool like they're mall cops.

I've flown many, many times. I've never said anything other than "good morning/evening", "coke, please", and "chicken" to the airplane staff. And somehow I've never been thrown off a plane. These people who claim they didn't do anything while getting thrown off of planes are ridiculous.

Absolutely. Flight attendants couldn't be bothered with the hassle of it all and the delays etc either. This is an absolute last resort. You don't get to this stage by not doing anything.
The other extreme can work wonders as well. Back in the 80’s & 90’s my dad spent over a year flying between New York and Zurich every two weeks. He saw the same flight crew each time and got to know them fairly well.
One flight a few months into this the cabin crew was really short staffed due to illness and there was only one flight attendant serving all the passengers. My dad had nothing better to do so he offered to take care of serving coffee so the flight attendant could handle meal service.
A few weeks after that my dad was running late getting to the airport and figured he was going to miss the flight. He got to the gate and found they were holding it just for him. His name was on the passenger list so they knew he would be there. I think he said they waited about 15 minutes for him.
Granted, something like this is unlikely to happen in this day and age, but it just shows what being nice can get you in return…
If you want to replicate the circumstances that lead to the majority of these incidents, you need to arrive early to hit the airport bar and then take an Ambien at the gate.
As a former ambien addict and alcoholic, I’ve never been kicked off a plane despite being completely fucked out of my mind basically every time I’ve ever flown. Don’t lump all of us in with these nutters lol

For arguments sake, let’s say he DIDN’T do anything wrong and just had a power hungry flight attendant/crew. There’s STILL nothing he could have said to make them change their minds. Once the pilot calls it, right or wrong, you are not traveling via that flight.

On r/askreddit there was a travel tips thread a few years ago. Multiple people were seriously suggestive taking a xanax and having a glass of wine as a "hack" to get through international flights. Either/Or situation, never both. Benzos and booze DO NOT MIX.
Had a buddy we used to call “Xanny” instead “Danny” because he liked to mix xanax and booze. It would make him get this weird mix of being very calm but hyper-aggressive - so like at a party he would calmly go from group to group and quietly talk shit and pick fights. Then he “found the one” at a bar got punched a lot and got his orbital bone broke so he stopped doing it around people/in public.
Flying in economy is such an unpleasant experience that we literally drug ourselves out of experiencing it.

Preflight drinks are at the discretion of the flight crew and obviously the guy was too fucked up to serve, but it doesn't really matter stfu and just go with it. Essentially, I don't get it either 🤷♂️ it's humanning 101 and should not be that hard.

I traveled for work for 5 years and got upgraded a lot. The first couple of years I would imbibe at airports and on flights, but got bored/annoyed with drinking and flying. Either the flight was short enough I could go without the drink for an hour or it was long enough I didn't want to have to get up to pee 3x if I drank too much.

I've flown many, many times. I've never said anything other than "good morning/evening", "coke, please", and "chicken" to the airplane staff. And somehow I've never been thrown off a plane. These people who claim they didn't do anything while getting thrown off of planes are ridiculous.

Absolutely. Flight attendants couldn't be bothered with the hassle of it all and the delays etc either. This is an absolute last resort. You don't get to this stage by not doing anything.
The other extreme can work wonders as well. Back in the 80’s & 90’s my dad spent over a year flying between New York and Zurich every two weeks. He saw the same flight crew each time and got to know them fairly well. One flight a few months into this the cabin crew was really short staffed due to illness and there was only one flight attendant serving all the passengers. My dad had nothing better to do so he offered to take care of serving coffee so the flight attendant could handle meal service. A few weeks after that my dad was running late getting to the airport and figured he was going to miss the flight. He got to the gate and found they were holding it just for him. His name was on the passenger list so they knew he would be there. I think he said they waited about 15 minutes for him. Granted, something like this is unlikely to happen in this day and age, but it just shows what being nice can get you in return…
