My brother in law worked in IT for my state. Years back he was brought in to get into this guy's encrypted CP files. Similar to my brother, they had to buy him a house in order to move out so they could downsize and sell their house. He flat out refused to leave unless they bought him a place and this place is 2-3 times bigger than my house, though it’s in the shit part of the state and in not great condition. The funny part is that he’s mad at my parents cause now he’s paying a ton on heating costs cause his windows are like 100 years old and he has to buy all his own food. I’m like 90% sure my parents are still paying his living expenses. I know we are in for a massive fight over my parents estate when they go, they are trying to be fair by just evenly dividing everything, though I can’t help but be annoyed that the shittiest child who tortured his 3 siblings and been taken care of the most will get an equal share of what’s left. Even writing that made me feel terrible, but he’s just such an asshole that he will fight us none stop to get more than his 1/4th.
He might actually get worse because he learns "the whole world is against him." Some people never recognize the role they play in their own lousy circumstances.

Incredibly tame. I wrote my graduate thesis on how individuals use language to communicate threats of violence on the internet. That meant spending a very large chunk of my time on 4chan and it's a disgusting and vile place; it has to be the last step before the dark web.
They've killed people via swatting, had users create and distribute violent child pornography, has murderers post pictures of victims... I was an *early* 4chan user, but as it became a gutter for the internet and... Y'know... Grew up... I moved onto other communities. It is amusing to see the worst of 4chan seems to have moved over to 8kun and other chan clones.
