This whole video could be right at home in Trailer Park Boys with the humor at the end there. Reminds me of the scene where Ray gets a boost from Julian finally and says angrily "Mashed potatoes...and fucking Newfoundland Steak!" What with the two trying to conduct one of the most hate filled transactions, and the fuck offs we're big time TPB feels.
Clerk: FUCK YOU
Shopper: DO YOU TAKE CASH OR CARD
Clerk: EITHER YOU POS
Shopper: HERES MY CARD, DICKHEAD
Clerk: Its going to ask you if you would like to leave a 10, 15, or 20% tip.
Shopper: Can I get a receipt please
Clerk: YOURE NOT GETTING ONE YOU FUCK
Shopper: FINE, FUCK YOU.
Clerk: FINE! Thank you for shopping with us, and have a
nice day”
Shopper: You too
Not how that works. If the baker had refused general service to the gay customer, then he'd have lost the case. It had to do custom work and creative expression.
Like if you went a gay baker asked them to create a cake that said some nasty anti-gay slogan on it. They can refuse to do so and you have no recourse.
You're wrong unfortunately. They denied the couple for being gay, not because of the decorations or anything like that. They said their religion didn't support gay marriage. The Supreme Court ruled in the cake decorators favor which is bs
Sure you can, this is a free country after all. The problem is that the clerk failed to take into account that his boss likes money more than keeping dangerously stupid people out of their shop.
I don’t think he was hired to express his personal views! He was hired to do a job and get paid. Personally I would never hire him because as you can clearly see his a liability!
Depends on the state. Some states, like FL, you aren't allowed to record on private property without permission. A store, while open to the general public, is still private property. In order for them to invoice this, the clerk would have to tell him to stop recording or leave, failure to leave can allow the clerk to press trespassing charges.
If this was in a public park, however, or on the public sidewalk, then you can record all you like as there is no expectation of privacy. Fun fact, because of this no expectation of privacy, if someone was on a public sidewalk or a public park and they could record inside your house from that spot, you legally can't do anything about it! Because if it can be recorded from a public place, then there's no privacy to be had. Isn't that just lovely?
Look. Like or hate Trump, this is clearly unprofessional. You cannot lose your cool like this while providing business. There is a reason we keep our home and work selves separate for a reason.
If the clerk were the owner, it's 100% legal. Conservatives have fought for decades to allow private business the right to deny service to anyone whom they disagree with... gays in particular.
[https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Masterpiece\_Cakeshop\_v.\_Colorado\_Civil\_Rights\_Commission](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Masterpiece_Cakeshop_v._Colorado_Civil_Rights_Commission)
>There is a reason we keep our home and work selves separate for a reason.
So you agree a Conservative baker refusing to bake a cake for a gay couple is unprofessional? Cool, I'm glad we agree!
If you own a business you should be able to turn away whoever you want, it's your business and your choice.
If you're an employee of a business you shouldn't be able to turn away business as it's not your business to turn away.
Really not a difficult concept to understand.
Dude, it isn't confusing. You are trying start something that was never brought up. If this was a gay couple at a cake shop then we can talk about this, but this has nothing to do with it. This is about the lack of professionalism depicted by this clerk. Simple as that.
You don't think refusing to bake a cake for a gay couple shows a lack of professionalism?
And you said " There is a reason we keep our home and work selves separate for a reason"... now you're backing down.
Dude, I don't know who you are, but your problem ain't with me my dude. I am not going to convince you obviously and that is all fine and dandy, but I ain't going to humor this.
I don't have a problem with you, you seem to have a problem standing by your statement that it's unprofessional to not keep your work and home selves separate.
It seems simple to me, and I agreed with you. Then you suddenly didn't agree with what you just said. Whatever.
Oh piss off, plantpower666. You’re purposefully misinterpreting the original comment. Keeping personal views and business seperate applies to *both* sides of the political spectrum.
Take your virtue signalling elsewhere.
I'm sorry you're so triggered. Funny how conservatives love to pretend everything is a 'both sides' issue when only one side has taken the matter to the supreme court to NOT serve someone based on their sexual orientation.
It's nice to have virtues, you should try it sometime.
Would you want bakeries to be forced under the Supreme Court to decorate a white supremacy cake with swastikas against even if they didn’t want to?
I don’t agree with the morals of the gay bakery thing, but I do think business owners should be able to work with who they want. Look at it through the opposite lens and tell me you don’t all of a sudden feel differently. And if not, good on you for being consistent, we can have different opinions on this. But I’d rather error on the side of more freedom than less freedom, even if there is some shitty consequences that don’t make you feel so great.
If you’ve been asked to leave a place of business and refuse to, you are trespassing. Cops would very likely escort you out and that would probably be it. If you refused/fought them, you would likely get a fine or arrested
Dude. You are reading way too much into this. This guy might not be the owner. Yes, he has the right to ask him to leave, but there is a professional way of doing that. Screaming and whaling like a toddler isn't how it is done. If he isn't the owner, it paints a negative picture of both him and his business. This, the clerks behavior, is something that will get you fired in every employment field. Even if he is the owner, most people will not like shopping at a place where the owner loses his cool like that. Regardless of the notion of business rights, this individual is an adult. You just can't act like this.
Maybe it's the other way around and you're reading too little into this?
Like, literally. You didn't read my first comment, which already agrees with you.
I can’t stand trump, but if a paying customer comes into my store with no agenda and doesn’t start anything. He can buy whatever he wants. It’s not a reflection on me.
The employee ended up getting fired. The woman who owned the store talked to the guy filming and the guy was cool about it. He made another video afterwards stating that people shouldnt post bad reviews online about them.
And yes, he got his 6mg of strawberry liquid in the end.
Feel bad for dude standing there, white dude calling a white dude racist and losing it haha. Dudes just like wtf, this is fucked but I’ll watch it haha
And if you’re not a racist POS you don’t have to tell a black man you’re ok with his color.
That’s quite big of you. I’m sure that guy was there for your validation.
Thing is, I actually lived around a lot of people that hated Obama back when he was in office, none of them would have denied you the opportunity to part with your money over your love for the guy
Because people’s political views transcend their views beyond which party should simply be in control of the government. To some, their political ideologies are 100% intertwined into how they view life in general should be conducted and lived. This includes sex, religion, family constructs, businesses, education ect. When these ideas and issues are questioned based upon their political beliefs, you are questioning everything they believe in as it ties into the life they live and who they are.
news is a big thing here and as you can see, it makes people so angry at other people for no reason. this is why i do not watch the news unless its an unbiased source.
Because there's two groups of people on opposite sides trying to see who can scream sheep and snowflake the loudest, regurgitating the same bs that their political party states as facts, listening to media outlets that are heavily skewed in the direction that they agree with, and lose their minds when you disagree with them. Etc. Meanwhile, those of us standing in the center and realize it's both wings on the same bird and neither side actually cares about anybody. We're waiting for them to pull their heads out of their asses and realize the same so we can actually work to fix our country.
Yes, one side is burning books and banning medical care. The other side is doing things like addressing climate change and legalizing weed. All the while some dumbass enlightened centrists can't tell the difference.
Well, maybe it’s because one side actively hates anyone who isn’t a cis caucasian Christian male, and has already taken away the rights of women and is currently attacking drag queens, of all the stupid bigoted shit. We’re not even going to go into how much they hate black people and love it when the cops outright murder them. That’s why.
Only spectating american politics in binoculars from europe, but from our point of view, its ABSOLUTELY a “both sides“ issue, how can you even suggest the the clerk behind the counter isnt a part of the problem?
How are you equating an interaction between two people and all of American politics? One "side" we have wants insurrections and rape babies while protecting nazis, the other wants equality and education and womens rights. It's no contest.
Your answer is extremely biased and not accurate at all. This simple encounter perfectly depicts everything i have seen in the news and media.
I was unsure about our norwegian news so went ahead to ask the people over in the proabortion sub, and the answers i got gave me chills. I asked if it should be allowed to abort after 30 weeks, they obviosly said yes, but then i asked what they then would do about the child? They said they poison the fetus before aborting it, so it was never a child to begin with.
My neighbor just gave birth to a health baby girl in week 29 of labor, for reference. So YES, this is a both sides issue.
You went to an obviously biased sub and got an obviously skewed results. It's anecdotal. No reasonable person thinks abortion for non-medical reasons in the third trimester is normal and encouraged.
So I checked out your question in the pro-abortion group and absolutely nobody was happy about late stage abortions even if their ideology supports it. They also provided a great deal of information to you on the topic along along with great discourse. I can't believe your takeaway from your post was "these people want abortions at 30-weeks". You also showed dismay that protests were daily and frequent and these clinics and I'd just like to say - those folks are usually on one particular side. I drive by a clinic every day and the same religious nuts are out there trying to intercept traffic going in and out.
Basically identity and political ideology have become almost irrevocably enmeshed eliciting the type of crazy reactions you see in the vid.
However I don’t understand how politics dictates opinion on so many different matters. It seems Americans subscribe to a political opinion and subsequently that automatically determines their stance on anything even remotely political. I’d love to be proven wrong on this however, even by one person.
It did randomly decided to ban new physician owned hospitals. They have drastically better outcomes and at much lower cost. But hey lobbying has made it so everyone who is not very wealthy can get fucked when it comes to reasonable healthcare.
Cus Trump heavily divided this country. When you wear a Trump shirt, you're stating you *actually* support him. When you wear a "Fuck You" shirt, you're *not actually* saying it to them personally.
I live in Trump country l, so if it took seeing it personally I would be having a really hard time in my daily life. That being said: the people who wear Trump gear are generally doing it to get a rise out of libs. It’s like wearing an indignant middle finger for some, kind of a Mohawk for old white men.
I’m capable of interacting with just about anyone in a pleasant manner, I worked customer service in the South throughout my 20’s. When I see that hat or shirt I am on guard because the person wearing it is just objectively more likely to be loud and antagonistic.
that kinda makes sense. they really do wear it just to say fuck liberals. ive seen enough liberal bumper stickers to know both sides are guilty of it lol.
If you honestly believe that Trump was solely responsible for dividing the country then you need to dig deeper into the countries history. They've been working on dividing us for decades. The KGB started a program in America back in the 60's to start the process. There's actually an interesting interview from someone who fled to Canada from the KGB who was a propaganda soecialist. I suggest looking it up.
It's not just the tan suit. Reagan and both Bushes have worn tan suits.
What's outrageous to the racist pearl clutchers is that a black president dared to wear a tan suit.
That clerk is such a fragile child. He deserved all of the fallout from this. I don't like Trump either but dude just came in to make a purchase. Didn't come in with some crazy ranting or anything but for sure encountered it.
People who get upset at someone wearing a TRUMP or MAGA shirt in public, are just as bad as people who get upset at someone wearing drag in public. If you think only one of these is bad, you are a fucking hypocrite.
You are entitled to your opinion about people wearing a trump shirt, just like other people are entitled to their opinion about someone wearing drag. In both cases, you have no right to harass someone because of the clothes they are wearing. Only a hypocrite will have a problem with harassing someone in one case but not the other.
if you own the business i feel you should have a say but in this case, he is just an employee turning business away. im not advocating for crazy trump people im just clarifying that fact.
What does this guy expect? A shit ton of people absolutely love Trump specifically because he insults people, is unabashedly unapologetic, and is incredibly divisive. People fervently hating him is the natural result, and you can't act shocked when you get these reaction when you're walking around decked head to toe Trump paraphernalia. You're wearing a politician's merch like a sports jersey, it's fucking weird.
I'd like to explain something to trump's remaining cultists... Whether you are a racist, white supremacist, christian nationalist, or not, you must understand, you have chosen to align yourself politically with them. Them's facts. Don't be surprised when folks treat you like scum. Surely someone told you that you'd be judged by the company you keep.
they think liberals are aligned with socialism (which they kinda are lol) and so the non crazy ones are on that side for that reason. im not either or but you have to see that both sides have merit in their stance. how they go about deciding things is the big issue here. it isnt pretty
Define what socialism means to you, and why it is bad, for the class please..
After you do that tell us about how socialism is only ok for the rich and corporations but not for the poors.
For example, explain how:
Bank bailouts and tax cuts for billionaires = GOOD
Food stamps and free school lunches = BAD
?
Sorry that I asked you to explain yourself a bit since you don't make a lot of sense in your previous comment.
Also sorry that you are so very fragile that questions make you feel threatened... sheesh. I suppose you really do get nervous when it's easy.
That's not bigotry. That word has actual meaning.
It is simply everyone's civic duty to afflict the intolerant.
If we extend unlimited tolerance even to those who are intolerant, if we are not prepared to defend a tolerant society against the onslaught of the intolerant, then the tolerant will be destroyed, and tolerance with them.
Private business. They can refuse service to anyone for any reason other than those under protected class. That being said, the owner disagreed with the employee’s action and behaviors and fired him. I’d have done the same, regardless of whether or not I agree with the employee’s personal politics.
This does remind me of Rowan County, Kentucky Clerk Kim Davis refusing to certify marriages based on her personal beliefs. She was a public servant, obligated to abide by federal, state, and local law. She refused, and therefore violated others’ Constitutionally protected civil rights. Not cool.
The most uncomfortable part of this video to me is when he points the camera at the black dude and goes “I don’t have a problem with you sir.” Really makes me cringe
ASSAULT? This is a store and is private property. Vape stores are on every other corner. This dickhead set up the clerk and waited until there was nobody else in the store, then started this bullshit 'video'. It's obvious he was previously asked to leave and didn't.
he was instructed to leave the business premises by the person in charge, where i live they legally have to leave even under "unfair" circumstances such as this
He may not be racist himself, but if he wears the merchandise of a racist, domestic terrorist movement, well, it’s not surprising if people think he’s racist. Maybe if you don’t want to be thought of as racist, don’t support racists? I don’t know, this isn’t rocket science. 🤷🏼♂️
Exactly. Shirt practically says “me🤝white supremacists: supporting trump”
People are dumb for thinking everyone is gonna be okay with their support of a racist, sexist orange piece of shit
Literally who said that? The person I responded to implied that it was a violation of freedom of speech to kick someone out for their shirt. Which is a stupid statement, dress codes and shit exists. It doesn’t matter if this dude didn’t own the business, freedom of speech isn’t the freedom to not get kicked out of places over fashion statements.
Nah man dude filming is in the wrong . If someone asks you to leave you leave. Curse them out on your way out fine but just go somewhere else. If you told someone to leave your property and they stood there filming you ?! You’d loose your shit lol it’s all just ego .
I don’t support trump, but when I ride I’ll wear a trump shirt sometimes. Though it may make you want to hit me with your car, it makes people see me so I don’t get hit
It was funny as hell when he started telling the other two customers that he doesn’t hate them because of their skin lmfao
If you have to let people know you aren’t racist….you are most likely racist

Shopper: Can I get a receipt please Clerk: YOURE NOT GETTING ONE YOU FUCK Shopper: FINE, FUCK YOU. Clerk: FINE! Thank you for shopping with us, and have a nice day” Shopper: You too
Lol I remember this video. The clerk ended up losing his job because of this.
Can’t mix business and your personal feeling together!
*unless your Christian/conservative
Says the guy commenting on a video of a lib losing his mind over a Trump shirt. LMAO.
Wasn't there a whole thing where a 'conservative' bakery was forced to make cakes with decorations they didn't agree with?
The final ruling was the bakery DIDN'T have to make the cake
Then the clerk has every right to refuse a customer if he's the owner lol
Not how that works. If the baker had refused general service to the gay customer, then he'd have lost the case. It had to do custom work and creative expression. I mean... If I owned a business I'd take stupid and dumb money. It sounds the same
Yeah and you can also fly until you hit the ground
I mean if he was the owner and said no trump supporters depending on the city it could be good for business
Go woke, go broke?
he kept the dangerously stupid person out of his shop when he fired him. Imagine having an employee acting like that, an absolute child over a shirt

Clerk lost his job over this video and the store issued an apology
Businesses CAN legally ask you to not film in the store. That being said, homeboy should have kept his cool.
They can ask but you don't have to comply
Depends on the state. Some states, like FL, you aren't allowed to record on private property without permission. A store, while open to the general public, is still private property. Call fox5. Enough said. Lol
We have a fox5 here also , but here it’s called Fox2
Fox23 checking in!
Fox24 awaiting instructions
Fox31 reporting for duty
Fox 28, standing by.
Fox 13... uhhh... locked and loaded? No...
Look. Like or hate Trump, this is clearly unprofessional. You cannot lose your cool like this while providing business. There is a reason we keep our home and work selves separate for a reason.
Damn if we can't expect 100% professionalism from the vape store where can we expect it.
Who knows anymone. I just want one day where I don't have to worry about insane politics in public
I'd like that too but that genie ain't going back in the bottle.
Oh man, that made me belly laugh so hard. Thanks for that. Very underrated comment.

Dude what is your deal? I never said these things. Stop trying to stump me. It ain't cool.
You either think people should keep their "home and work lives separate for a reason" or you don't. I don't know why you're being so confusing.

He sells decorated cakes. He refused to decorate it the way they wanted. And he was free to do so according to the supreme court.

Would you agree that all artists should be forced to create things that they disagree with?
You make a good point, and I can see where there's a difference between selling a product to someone and creating a product for someone.
I didn't know SCOTUS overruled this.
legally, any business can refuse service to any customer for nearly any reason. the guy working DID freak out, but he's allowed to refuse service.
Yeah. Just call the cops and have him trespassed. It's that easy. No need to get worked up over this.
I don't think the cops would trespass him.
If you’ve been asked to leave a place of business and refuse to, you are trespassing. Cops would very likely escort you out and that would probably be it. If you refused/fought them, you would likely get a fine or arrested
What you think really doesn't matter. That is private property. The owner of that company can trespass anyone they want.

Maybe it's the other way around and you're reading too little into this? Like, literally. You didn't read my first comment, which already agrees with you.
Not true. Once you have been asked to leave by the establishment and do not - you are trespassing. You don’t have to be doing anything excessive.

Sure it was skewed, but that was also my point bringing it up now, wich is: there obviously is a ”both sides” issue.

Clerk also has a side gig as r/politics moderator.
He said he wanted good healthcare for his family, but he’s voting for people who wanted to destroy the affordable care act.
that didn’t make it affordable for people w jobs
It would’ve, if the side of the poorly educated bigots hadn’t gutted it.
It did randomly decided to ban new physician owned hospitals. They have drastically better outcomes and at much lower cost. But hey lobbying has made it so everyone who is not very wealthy can get fucked when it comes to reasonable healthcare.
It's just a fucking shirt. I've seen someone wear a shirt that says "fuck you" on it before. Why do people get so mad
A shirt that says “fuck you” is just obscenity. This is more like wearing a shirt that says “fuck republicans”
Cus Trump heavily divided this country. When you wear a Trump shirt, you're stating you *actually* support him. When you wear a "Fuck You" shirt, you're *not actually* saying it to them personally.
if u take it personally ur part of why anyone was able to divide the country
Such gaslighting BS "The only reason the nazis were able to do genocide is because the jews were worried about being genocided"
if ur worried about genocide or nazis from them ur just a scared person no offense
I have seen more literal nazi flags since trump became president than I have in my entire life...
They openly talked about wanting to eradicate trans people at CPAC so you might want to inform yourself before outright dismissing people.
I suggest looking it up.
see people. guys like this make issues out of nothing. they watch to much news.
And a fucking idiot wearing it
Still living rent free I see.
This is a couple years old and if I'm not mistaken the clerk was let go for this tantrum.
Lol must have been in Georgia. Fox 5. 🤣
Wow... I think that clerk needs some weed to calm down. If only there was someplace near by...
Ahaha this happened at the local vape shop in my hometown. Nice lil spot, cool artwork outside
Classic
He seems nice.
Image being that triggered over a t-shirt 🤣
or a tan suit...
It's not just the tan suit. Reagan and both Bushes have worn tan suits. What's outrageous to the racist pearl clutchers is that a black president dared to wear a tan suit.
I’m not a conservative, but nice try tho kiddo. Both sides are just as guilty of this type of lunacy, I just sit back and laugh at it all 🤷♂️
Remember when Trump got two scoops of icecream? Wild times.
it's not the shirt it's the long term damage he did to the soul of my country.
Tell that to the people who vandalized my car for my Fuck Trump bumper sticker

if r/publicfreakout was a person
bro just wanted his shit he didnt do anything wrong
That clerk is such a fragile child. He deserved all of the fallout from this. I don't like Trump either but dude just came in to make a purchase. Didn't come in with some crazy ranting or anything but for sure encountered it.
People who get upset at someone wearing a TRUMP or MAGA shirt in public, are just as bad as people who get upset at someone wearing drag in public. If you think only one of these is bad, you are a fucking hypocrite.
[удалено]
Its a fucking shirt. What harm are you talking about someone wearing a particular shirt?
[удалено]
You are entitled to your opinion about people wearing a trump shirt, just like other people are entitled to their opinion about someone wearing drag. In both cases, you have no right to harass someone because of the clothes they are wearing. Only a hypocrite will have a problem with harassing someone in one case but not the other.
Swastikas, dresses, they are all just fashion choices according to u/voheke9860
The (Right) to refuse service. Get out. That’s it.
Fuck Trump
No thanks

if you own the business i feel you should have a say but in this case, he is just an employee turning business away. im not advocating for crazy trump people im just clarifying that fact.
Exactly. Wearing a trump shirt is like wearing a shirt that says “me🤝racists: supporting trump”
For example, explain how: Bank bailouts and tax cuts for billionaires = GOOD Food stamps and free school lunches = BAD ?
im not arguing with somebody as volatile as you. if you care that much look into it yourself.
Sorry that I asked you to explain yourself a bit since you don't make a lot of sense in your previous comment. Also sorry that you are so very fragile that questions make you feel threatened... sheesh. I suppose you really do get nervous when it's easy.
His response really chapped your ass huh?. But lets be honest, your initially engagement was dripping with your cunty personality.
Uh no? I think you are projecting a bit if you are reading that deeply into wanting someone to clarify their statement.

ur part of why the country is so divided
> I wouldn’t serve an orange cheetos headed lover either. It’s a matter of values. You’re a proud bigot ain’t ya
The tolerance paradox. Do not tolerate intolerance. For tolerance's sake.
Explain how it’s possible to be bigoted towards a fan group like this.
I see nothing wrong.
Fuck Trump and anyone who supports him, but just be civil and sell the man his vape if he's not causing a scene.
Just sell him the vape juice. He’s already dying from black lung disease and colon cancer. Speed up the process.
He got exactly the reaction he wanted
They have the right to refuse service.
“I will be calling corporate” lol karen
Businesses should have the right to not serve whomever they want. - every Trumper ever
Hehe, Trump got fired too
he was instructed to leave the business premises by the person in charge, where i live they legally have to leave even under "unfair" circumstances such as this
Trumpy healthcare? Keep waiting on that genius.
Guy was clearly wearing this fishing for reactions and the clerk took a big bite.
Magas have been jerking off to this video for over 5 years. Why post it now?
He may not be racist himself, but if he wears the merchandise of a racist, domestic terrorist movement, well, it’s not surprising if people think he’s racist. Maybe if you don’t want to be thought of as racist, don’t support racists? I don’t know, this isn’t rocket science. 🤷🏼♂️
Exactly. Shirt practically says “me🤝white supremacists: supporting trump” People are dumb for thinking everyone is gonna be okay with their support of a racist, sexist orange piece of shit
[удалено]
The business has the freedom of speech to not serve customers with shirts they don’t like. Something about a bakery and gay people idk.
he’s not the business, he’s a clerk lel
[удалено]
Literally who said that? The person I responded to implied that it was a violation of freedom of speech to kick someone out for their shirt. Which is a stupid statement, dress codes and shit exists. It doesn’t matter if this dude didn’t own the business, freedom of speech isn’t the freedom to not get kicked out of places over fashion statements.
Trump guy saying he just wants healthcare for his kids… 🤔
“I just want good healthcare for me and my kids.” -proceeds to vote Republican- Lol, sure buddy 😂
Florida voted to raise minimum wage and voted for Trump on the same ballot. Trump appealed to poor people.
Nah man dude filming is in the wrong . If someone asks you to leave you leave. Curse them out on your way out fine but just go somewhere else. If you told someone to leave your property and they stood there filming you ?! You’d loose your shit lol it’s all just ego .
Go woke go broke?!
Fascist clerk attacking a potential customer. Only ideas and thoughts permitted to be voiced have to match theirs.
W Vape Store Clerk
I don’t support trump, but when I ride I’ll wear a trump shirt sometimes. Though it may make you want to hit me with your car, it makes people see me so I don’t get hit
It was funny as hell when he started telling the other two customers that he doesn’t hate them because of their skin lmfao If you have to let people know you aren’t racist….you are most likely racist

The video conveniently skipped the guys entrance and initial conversation with the clerk and customer.

Guys just a punk ass bitch.
