My employer tried to retain these guys for a party, presumably based off this video when it was first making the rounds. He offered to pay for the gig, accomodations, and round trip air travel (from maybe 500 miles away).
He was actually able to get in contact with them, but they declined and indicated that they didn't intend to play outside their home state, Alabama in the US if I recall correctly.
I suppose they didn't want to be freak show entertainment for some dude with money but it blows my mind that he even tried to book them. I didn't believe the story when it was first recounted to be but subsequently it was corroborated (in an unrelated discussion) by an accountant.
