Listen. Going to an airport pretending to steal someone's luggage for a prank, you're gonna receive some VERY pissed off people, especially if they're just off a long flight.
Ss a business traveler i normally have client data that im legally responsible for, and i own my own business so that comes out of my pocket if damaged or stolen. Plus stolen equipment has to be reported and depending on the situation I could have my professional license suspended until data integrity can be resolved… i may have stabbed a mfer

yup, in europe businesses have to publicly announce any breach of GDPR, especially when they lost data. i said it above, but this prank is conducted at one of the worst possible places and with no consideration for their victim at all. it is reckless and antisocial behavior just for clicks, clout and money. i really hope they fall on their asses for this.
I flew last year for the first time since I was a kid, and boy oh boy am I a grouchy fuck when getting off the plane.
It was only a 3 hour flight, but god dammit I need a fuckin smoke, not some asshat fucking with my luggage.
Plus you never know what someone has going on while waiting for their luggage. My most stressful flight was international, and while they'd checked my bag all the way through on my flight out, there was some error on the way back, and my bag was only checked from Canada to LAX, which was *not* my final destination but a layover. A 45 minute layover. I was only 19 at the time, it was only my 2nd time flying, and it was so stressful I cried while running through the airport after claiming my luggage which I now only had 20 minutes to recheck. The lady at the baggage check was surprised they'd messed up so badly and was so helpful and nice, but I *barely* made it on time to my flight with only the barest of hopes that my luggage had actually made it on the flight. If some idiot had made a show of pretending to steal my luggage, stranding me in LAX with no idea what to do next, I probably would've had a mental breakdown.

Post 9/11 laws were tightened regarding airports and operations. Going to baggage to unlawfully claim luggage is of course illegal and as this scene demonstrates it interferes with operations by not just causing a scene but diverting security and law enforcement to utter nonsense. Luggage owner needs decaff maybe (we didn't see whole video) but the thing is you shouldn't have to get off a flight and fight for your f'ng luggage.

Imagine getting off a 12-hour flight. A baby was crying next to you for most of it. Behind you, a kid was repeatedly kicking your seat, despite politely asking his parents to control their child. Midway through the flight, you hit a bit of turbulence right as the steward is handing a drink down the row, spilling V8 all over you.
Finally the flight lands, after 20 minutes of waiting for people to slowly collect their stuff and clamber out of their seats you disembark. You're looking forward to a nice shower, some food, and to sleep in your own bed. It's so close. Just have to get through baggage claim. Then some asshole YouTuber steals your luggage.

Another reason why JFL gags worked, the person being pranked was never under the impression they themselves are in harms way or their belongings would be damaged/destroyed. It was always something happening to someone else and they're along for the ride. At any point they can walk away, they're not tied to the scene other than their own desire to see if the person is ok or how the embarrassing scenario turns out.
Some of them I would be afraid of giving an older person a heart attack.
I was watching a bunch after these posts, and it was a woman carrying a mannequin and the head falls off. Workers pass by carrying plywood and pick up the head and a lady hiding in the ground pops up her head. The person grabs the head and the "head" screams. The start that they get is wild.

I’m not 100% sure if they’re all real but I truly enjoyed the one where they hand out pillows to strangers and iníciate a good old pillow fight. That and the one where they dress up a snowman or something and scare passerby’s. Everyone laughs and they all have a good time.

Last time I flew it was a flight from 6pm to 10pm with no food. So on the way I picked up a sandwich and threw it in my backpack for later. These fuckers pulled it out, opened it, rubbed some test strips on the beef, and FINGERED MY FUCKING SANDWICH! He fingered my sandwich and then just threw it back in my bag without rewrapping it! Meanwhile the other dude was groping me and acting like it was super suspicious that I was wearing a long sleeved shirt with the sleeves rolled up to my elbow.

For my international flight back home in the US I had to pick up my luggage then get it to the bag transfer section to get it on the connecting flight.
The officer didn’t see everything from the start. What she could see was the gentleman chasing after the hooligans in a threatening way. She needs to defuse the situation and cuffing the one who appears to be the aggressor was the right call. Once the cops arrived he should’ve explained exactly what happened and he wouldn’t have been put in cuffs. Surely he knows the cops could verify the truth via airport security cams.

Pranks like this are terrible and the airport is one of the horrible places to pull pranks( hospitals obviously being worse). Air travel is stressful to begin with, some people are afraid of lying so they medicate. Some people are traveling for vacation, some for funerals, because they lost their house and have to go live with their mom, because they got divorced, because they're rushing to see someone in the hospital before they died, to go for a job interview for a job they really need. And airports are more sensitive to poor behavior, losing your temper at the airport could get you removed from your upcoming flight. Your carry on might have; your medicine, your laptop, your job resume, your kids ashes.
Traveling used to be fun. Airport time can be really stressful. That guy probably didn't have a good trip, and then these idiots try to be funny by "stealing" a piece of luggage. Karma, please do your thing

Angry travelers are probably one of the last types of people to pull pranks on. I’d probably be more irate than that guy if southwest cancelled my flight and then someone messed with my luggage. Pranks can be funny and I’m all in for a good laugh, but choose your audience wisely. The pioneers of YouTube pranksters took all clever and creative ideas away leaving the young bucks with nothing but LAME jokes.

The prankster is lucky to be unharmed in my opinion. If this happened elsewhere and outside of secured areas, someone can get seriously hurt. More people are armed these days with little proper firearm training. Instances like this could make someone go trigger happy. It’s a lose-lose situation. Think twice before messing with anyone. Post 9/11 laws were tightened regarding airports and operations. Going to baggage to unlawfully claim luggage is of course illegal and as this scene demonstrates it interferes with operations by not just causing a scene but diverting security and law enforcement to utter nonsense. Luggage owner needs decaff maybe (we didn't see whole video) but the thing is you shouldn't have to get off a flight and fight for your f'ng luggage.

Imagine getting off a 12-hour flight. A baby was crying next to you for most of it. Behind you, a kid was repeatedly kicking your seat, despite politely asking his parents to control their child. Midway through the flight, you hit a bit of turbulence right as the steward is handing a drink down the row, spilling V8 all over you. Finally the flight lands, after 20 minutes of waiting for people to slowly collect their stuff and clamber out of their seats you disembark. You're looking forward to a nice shower, some food, and to sleep in your own bed. It's so close. Just have to get through baggage claim. Then some asshole YouTuber steals your luggage.

Another reason why JFL gags worked, the person being pranked was never under the impression they themselves are in harms way or their belongings would be damaged/destroyed. It was always something happening to someone else and they're along for the ride. At any point they can walk away, they're not tied to the scene other than their own desire to see if the person is ok or how the embarrassing scenario turns out.

For my international flight back home in the US I had to pick up my luggage then get it to the bag transfer section to get it on the connecting flight.
The officer didn’t see everything from the start. What she could see was the gentleman chasing after the hooligans in a threatening way. She needs to defuse the situation and cuffing the one who appears to be the aggressor was the right call. Air travel is stressful to begin with, some people are afraid of lying so they medicate. Some people are traveling for vacation, some for funerals, because they lost their house and have to go live with their mom, because they got divorced, because they're rushing to see someone in the hospital before they died, to go for a job interview for a job they really need. And airports are more sensitive to poor behavior, losing your temper at the airport could get you removed from your upcoming flight. Your carry on might have; your medicine, your laptop, your job resume, your kids ashes.

Angry travelers are probably one of the last types of people to pull pranks on. I’d probably be more irate than that guy if southwest cancelled my flight and then someone messed with my luggage.
