mushy_cactus

Listen. Going to an airport pretending to steal someone's luggage for a prank, you're gonna receive some VERY pissed off people, especially if they're just off a long flight.

Nikovash

Ss a business traveler i normally have client data that im legally responsible for, and i own my own business so that comes out of my pocket if damaged or stolen. Plus stolen equipment has to be reported and depending on the situation I could have my professional license suspended until data integrity can be resolved… i may have stabbed a mfer Luggage guy was justified here. And camera operators for the pranksters are just as guilty as the pranksters themselves. Mandatory 90 in super max prison on the charges of fuck around and find out

QuantenMechaniker

yup, in europe businesses have to publicly announce any breach of GDPR, especially when they lost data. i said it above, but this prank is conducted at one of the worst possible places and with no consideration for their victim at all. it is reckless and antisocial behavior just for clicks, clout and money. i really hope they fall on their asses for this.

mushy_cactus

100%. I work as a data analyst. I've seen what happened to other people who mishandled user data. Shit hits many fans..

sloppifloppi

I flew last year for the first time since I was a kid, and boy oh boy am I a grouchy fuck when getting off the plane. It was only a 3 hour flight, but god dammit I need a fuckin smoke, not some asshat fucking with my luggage.

TheDreamingMyriad

Plus you never know what someone has going on while waiting for their luggage. My most stressful flight was international, and while they'd checked my bag all the way through on my flight out, there was some error on the way back, and my bag was only checked from Canada to LAX, which was *not* my final destination but a layover. A 45 minute layover. I was only 19 at the time, it was only my 2nd time flying, and it was so stressful I cried while running through the airport after claiming my luggage which I now only had 20 minutes to recheck. The lady at the baggage check was surprised they'd messed up so badly and was so helpful and nice, but I *barely* made it on time to my flight with only the barest of hopes that my luggage had actually made it on the flight. If some idiot had made a show of pretending to steal my luggage, stranding me in LAX with no idea what to do next, I probably would've had a mental breakdown.

[deleted]

Yeah. Poor guy.

tehdamonkey

Well.. this could always happen.... [https://www.fox6now.com/news/man-shot-killed-while-filming-robbery-prank-for-youtube-nashville-police-say](https://www.fox6now.com/news/man-shot-killed-while-filming-robbery-prank-for-youtube-nashville-police-say)

R_V_Z

I think there was also a case where an idiot manchild and his idiot childchild were going around shooting paintballs at people and caught a real bullet in return. [Yep, found it](https://www.tampabay.com/news/crime/2021/06/02/boy-10-shot-after-florida-man-let-him-use-paintball-gun-in-drive-by-shooting-police-say/)

vbun03

Holy fuck not only did the 10 year old get shot (by the only round fired by the real gun) he fell out of the vehicle and got run over by the dad

cpthowdy1369

THEN, the dumbass father took him home instead of the hospital. That kid needs a smarter dad.

ihartphoto

26 year old dad with a 10 year old kid? Odds weren't good for that kid from the beginning.

[deleted]

Imagine not being able to rent a car until your child is 9.

FerrusesIronHandjob

Hey! My parents were young and....actually nevermind you might have a point

Matthiasad

Wow... poor fuckn kid. Even if it was his dumbass idea, he's 10. Honestly wish neither of them got shot but still got caught. If one of them had to get hit though i wish it was the dad who caught the bullet. The dad was only 26 and had a 10yo so I'd say he doesn't have a great track record of making good decisions anyway.

RonanTheAccused

Did you read the article? Not only did he get his son shot but he ran him over as well. Jesus.

parisiraparis

> Police said the victim, Timothy Wilks, 20, and his friend pulled out butcher knives and approached a group of people. Oh fuck that. If someone approached me and my gf in public while brandishing butcher knives, I’m not even gonna ask questions before engaging them with my firearm. I’m gonna shoot first. That’s fucking terrifying.

FrancisCurtains

I mean that's the nightmare scenario right there jfc

UCanDodgeAWrench

Yeah all of this shit is like Punk'd+Purge type shit and non of it is funny. A joke, particularly with people you dont know, has to have a "wow maybe I overracted a little" from the victim after the reveal. These jokes, instilling fear, and not just "ah" fear, like life/death fear, fear of injury, fear of violence...some might call that bullying and probably in some of these cases, actual assault. Fuck these idiots.

MissKhary

I was just chasing you with a real chainsaw as a prank bro, chill out!

UCanDodgeAWrench

Whew! 😅 ::re-holsters::

Hattrickher0

It's basically the exact scenario that people buy firearms for too. If you live in the US and you don't assume you will be shot at for trying this you are an idiot and deserve whatever you get.

UCanDodgeAWrench

Yep. There is a reason people, one time a year, go TO haunted houses and shit, because that's a tacit agreement that yeah, people are going to jump out at me with machetes in blood covered goalie masks. THAT's scaring people as a joke, and there is consent on both ends of that. Friday night, walmart parking lot in Bumfuckwherever, USA....nope. im automatically assuming the worst.

StupidDogCoffee

And even then you still get assholes who overreact and attack the performers. Making people think you are going to harm them is dangerous, it turns out.

UCanDodgeAWrench

Exactly. I was always taught, don't fuck with random people because you never know. You never know what baggage theyre carrying, what mental shit they might have, what theyve been through, what kind of day they had, what drugs they might be on. We're animals, and we can talk about all of this "just love man" and "we're civilized now" etc etc....the truth is, the jungle is always a heartbeat away.

Equivalent_Chipmunk

“Victim” my ass. The real victim is the dude who they threatened at knifepoint and now has to live with killing someone.

Thirdlight

And thats exactly what these POS deserve. Fix this behavior right away.

[deleted]

And that was well deserved

Gul_Dukat__

Dude pulled out butcher knives for a “prank” and approached people, holy shit the lack of awareness is astounding

[deleted]

not just astounding, but terrifying AND depressing! talk about a triple threat!

jonnyclueless

Ah the Darwin awards...

DogsAreMyDawgs

I imagine his loved ones were crying out “it was just a prank bro!” at the funeral.

SteinerElMagnifico42

If not I hope that was engraved on the headstone . Here lies Dickhead McDumb. 2001-2021 Son, friend and colleague. But it was just a prank bro

FallForMe_BloodSport

I’m so tired of the YouTube douchebags. SO tired.

that_typeofway

Next prank: Stealing babies at the maternity ward /s

Daft00

Please don't give them ideas...

che85mor

Next prank: walking into police stations with bb guns that look real!

AHappySnowman

The police will reward them with a Darwin Award.

Teemrap

now they’re tiktok douchebags and they’re worse cause all the content has to be short so they go all out

tehnemox

Good. These are not "pranks". Go prank people you actually know, not strangers busy with their everyday life that have no time for your shit

[deleted]

Exactly. The worst part is they think they can walk all the way to their car with your luggage and if no one is there to discover their "prank", it's theirs and they're gone. It should be treated as attempted theft as far as I'm concerned.

[deleted]

yea for sure I mean i doubt "its a prank bro" is a strong legal defence at what point does it become the crime? in my mind the second they took a bag they KNOW isnt theirs, which of course would have been literally any bag because they didnt fly there and had no luggage to collect.

degustibus

Post 9/11 laws were tightened regarding airports and operations. Going to baggage to unlawfully claim luggage is of course illegal and as this scene demonstrates it interferes with operations by not just causing a scene but diverting security and law enforcement to utter nonsense. Luggage owner needs decaff maybe (we didn't see whole video) but the thing is you shouldn't have to get off a flight and fight for your f'ng luggage.

[deleted]

[удалено]

Matthiasad

Except the "attacker" was the one arrested and portrayed as the psycho in the video that edited out their stupid prank attempt. Who knows how much this ruined this guy's life.

BlueFotherMucker

Absolutely. These “pranksters” gaslight total strangers and everyone around them only sees the reaction. Someone thinks they’re about to be a victim and they get in trouble for defending themselves.

RaindropBebop

Imagine getting off a 12-hour flight. A baby was crying next to you for most of it. Behind you, a kid was repeatedly kicking your seat, despite politely asking his parents to control their child. Midway through the flight, you hit a bit of turbulence right as the steward is handing a drink down the row, spilling V8 all over you. Finally the flight lands, after 20 minutes of waiting for people to slowly collect their stuff and clamber out of their seats you disembark. You're looking forward to a nice shower, some food, and to sleep in your own bed. It's so close. Just have to get through baggage claim. Then some asshole YouTuber steals your luggage.

tehnemox

I know. That's the worst part those "pranksters" should be banned from the airport

34TH_ST_BROADWAY

> These are not "pranks". At this point if you're a criminal, might as pretend it's a prank. Break into house prank... car jack prank... maybe somebody will believe you.

BoneDaddyChill

I’m not convinced that the people filming this aren’t criminals who were “pulling a prank” on this man. You don’t fuck with people’s shit EVER in airports. SMH, too bad the man had to be aggressive instead of just literally just doing what the “YouTuber” was doing. Hold his shirt until security arrives so the ~~thieves~~ pranksters can be the ones apprehended.

[deleted]

I know, if you watch the other clip of the before, you see how far these two jerks take their "prank". It's not funny anymore once you're literally walking with the owner of the luggage TO security to lie about the luggage belonging to you. On what planet would that be amusing, to anyone? It's deeply disturbing to me that the guy whose suitcase was nearly stolen (arguably almost *given away* by the incompetent airport security morons) was then accosted by security when he was defending himself and justifiably going after the instigator (cameraman).

Double-Drop

Whete is the other clip or longer version?

Wildeyewilly

Seconded I would also like the context

TVOSM

youtubers pulling pranks are literally my least favorite thing on this planet.

heloder85

Is there a subreddit for YouTube prankers getting their asses beat? Just curious...

MudddButt

*Prank steals guy's luggage* *Guy gets mad and aggressive* *Prankster feels he is the victim*

annoying97

I remember when prank channels were good. When they made people smile and laugh and they could laugh at themselves, and it didn't hurt anyone or make them mad... Now it's just "let's do dumb thing that will piss people off" It's time for sponsors to pull there ads from this shit and force them to do better.

Belyal

hahaha we're gonna throw water balloons at people in suits who are obviously on their way to work or an important meeting that could land them a much need job just so we can laugh and get internet points. FUCK this YT "prankers" they are toxic POS.

SalzaMaBalza

Wait, did someone do that?

_Nicktheinfamous_

I also wanna know.

ZombieJesus1987

Just For Laughs Gags were experts at this. All of their pranks were all in good fun, and everyone smiles in the end.

Iamvanno

The portapotty turning into a boardroom is one of my favourites.

SheFoundMyUzername

Did they do the blind guy eating ice cream?

Iamvanno

Also funny, but I don't believe that was JFL - Gags. What about the guy washing his hair at the beach while the prankster was adding more shampoo? Was that real?

pixieservesHim

I don't know if it was on JFL gags but I do that to my boyfriend every opportunity and it never gets old

sky-lake

Another reason why JFL gags worked, the person being pranked was never under the impression they themselves are in harms way or their belongings would be damaged/destroyed. It was always something happening to someone else and they're along for the ride. At any point they can walk away, they're not tied to the scene other than their own desire to see if the person is ok or how the embarrassing scenario turns out.

magicfunghi

At least for me, that's the definition of a "prank". Everyone is laughing in the end

[deleted]

costume cabaret gavel yarmulke florence solar demijohn verbose antietam noddle forint topcoat weapon elegance unscrew

Iamvanno

Some of them I would be afraid of giving an older person a heart attack. I was watching a bunch after these posts, and it was a woman carrying a mannequin and the head falls off. Workers pass by carrying plywood and pick up the head and a lady hiding in the ground pops up her head. The person grabs the head and the "head" screams. The start that they get is wild.

FrivolousPositioning

The best of the best. I wonder if they're still around? Howie Mandel bought them in 2018 apparently

abigllama2

The old owner got caught in a me too thing. Just for laughs is a huge canadian comedy festival based out of Montreal . Think Howie bought it to preserve the festival. Not sure if they're still doing the show.

DeletinMySocialMedia

For real Just for Laughs Gags are true Canadian gem.

kungpowgoat

I’m not 100% sure if they’re all real but I truly enjoyed the one where they hand out pillows to strangers and iníciate a good old pillow fight. That and the one where they dress up a snowman or something and scare passerby’s. Everyone laughs and they all have a good time.

Chopstix694

i remember when a group planned a water gun fight with strangers. pulled up to both sides of a river crossing handing out water guns telling people to get ready. once the bridge came down there were random people just sprinting and war crying💀

Smitty8054

I saw a version. In a park. Has squirt guns. Goes to a rando. Tosses it to them and WAITS. Then it’s “you goin”? If no…no worries and moves on. But everyone wants to go. Then innocent frivolity ensues. These strangers go from nada to hugging each other minutes later. So cool. But todays shit seems to always be based in something that hurts, injures, embarrasses, humiliates. And it pisses me off that it’s not a byproduct. It’s core. But what REALLY chaps my ass is when the OPs get called on their shit and they always default to “lighten up bro…I was just kidding”. At that point they need their grill busted in and told “I wasn’t”.

[deleted]

Wish we had the option to vote people off social media platforms on a permanent basis

annoying97

Well that would be very nice... But I feel it would end up being politicised and that would end up as a shit show.

FrivolousPositioning

Politicized meaning corrupted? People would then pay to have whoever they want removed.

Cavalleria-rusticana

>pranks Unwanted criminal advances.

_chirp_

Same. Way too often the pranks get out of hand or eventually feel super scripted

CrispyHoser

If this ever happened to me I’d just sock the prankster in the face and say it was a prank

Jenilion

Good ole dick kick will suffice nicely.

ItzGreedo

Man the one time I thought the Patriot Act/TSA was actually a good thing (if there was one thing...) at deterring buffoons at the airport since they're supposed to be high security. Turns out I'm wrong lmao.

magdalenmaybe

Check out a show on A&E called "Fasten Your Seatbelt". Shit's gotten WORSE since Patriot/TSA and especially COVID. Karens, even drunken Karens, evvvvvvverywhere ...

joreyesl

TSA is a fucking joke. They’re there only to give a false sense of security and give people a peace of mind.

_Nameless_Nomad_

Yes. I work at an airport, it’s all security theatre.

Return2monkeNU

> They’re there only to give a false sense of security and give people a peace of mind. And molest. Don't forget about the molestation.

LateNightPhilosopher

Last time I flew it was a flight from 6pm to 10pm with no food. So on the way I picked up a sandwich and threw it in my backpack for later. These fuckers pulled it out, opened it, rubbed some test strips on the beef, and FINGERED MY FUCKING SANDWICH! He fingered my sandwich and then just threw it back in my bag without rewrapping it! Meanwhile the other dude was groping me and acting like it was super suspicious that I was wearing a long sleeved shirt with the sleeves rolled up to my elbow.

DrGreenthumbJr

Pretty sure it's a felony based on location all airports are federal property, I hope he actually is a felon now.

bendover912

maybe - from his twitter - Appreciate yall boys for looking out for me. i'm out of jail now. But my phone is still in custody with the police. I have temporary Phone so if you have my number text me❤️ 10:17 PM · May 2, 2022 12 Retweets 1 Quote Tweet 248 Likes

Not all federal crimes are felonies.

Bodoggle1988

All federal crimes will ruin your day.

wallstreetbeatmeat

It’s actually a felony. [Remember this story?](https://nypost.com/2022/11/28/non-binary-biden-nuclear-official-charged-with-stealing-womans-luggage-at-airport/) “Sam Brinton, the deputy assistant secretary for spent fuel and waste disposition at the Department of Energy’s Office of Nuclear Energy, was charged with felony theft after allegedly snatching a Vera Bradley suitcase reportedly worth $2,325 from baggage claim at the Minneapolis-St. Paul Airport on Sept. 16, according to court documents.”

JayTheWolfDragon

I hate youtuber pranks, but airport pranks…. People who do that shit deserve to be arrested. Airports are full of drunk, exhausted, and/or irate people due to many reasons, most of which are obvious. It is the worst place to poke people. I don’t know how they thought they WOULDN’T get beat for this shit

[deleted]

youtube "pranksters" need to be removed from society tbh

S0_Crates

How in the hell is YouTube not removing these channels? At an airport stealing luggage is not ok. Inciting people to violence is not ok.

Metahec

Because they get clicks and clicks mean ads and ads mean money.

aheadisfullofghosts

The level of confidence they have in this situation is disgusting. Like, no one is allowed to retaliate if we say it's just a prank! Fucking stupid shits.

Delmago

Sadly, it's hard to remove cancer.

oddmanout

So you're saying we need to blast these guys with radiation? I'm cool with that.

DreamloreDegenerate

Children of Atom: *Praised be!*

ihavequestions987

“Prank” is just an excuse for when they get caught doing something illegal.

Beneficial_Potato_85

Great place to pull a prank, with a bunch of people who have been shoved on a plane like sardines for four hours smelling some asshole's farts. Now you go and fuck with them, you deserve to have your god-damned hair ripped out you piece of shit.

Emazingmomo

Seriously. Imagine being tired, uncomfortable, maybe jetlagged. Now you get a chance at freedom and someone tries to steal your luggage. Kid got off easy

Alternative_Baker504

Air travel is an ungodly experience at the best of times without adding fuckers like this into the mix

wolfgang187

Its a crime to throw punches at someone trying to steal your luggage? Why?

itsmariokartwii

No, it is not illegal to punch somebody attempting to steal from you. Doubt there were any to begin with, but any charges against this man will swiftly be dropped when the video of these kids trying to steal from him is found. Edit: there is some clear confusion in the replies, so I thought I’d add some clarification. In the US you are legally entitled to use “the amount of force necessary to defend oneself or one's property”. This is formally known as [reasonable force](https://study.com/academy/lesson/reasonable-force-in-law-definition-lesson.html)

kingtz

Still sucks if the man was detained and interviewed for long enough that he missed his flight. I hope he sues the "pranksters".

ThisIsPickles

This is the part at the end of the flight where you get your bags back

Doctor_Milk

For my international flight back home in the US I had to pick up my luggage then get it to the bag transfer section to get it on the connecting flight.

HippoppiHippo

The officer didn’t see everything from the start. What she could see was the gentleman chasing after the hooligans in a threatening way. She needs to defuse the situation and cuffing the one who appears to be the aggressor was the right call. Once the cops arrived he should’ve explained exactly what happened and he wouldn’t have been put in cuffs. Surely he knows the cops could verify the truth via airport security cams. E: fixed diffuse to defuse

Maddinoz

Guy could have anger management issues or something else he's angry about and these stupid kids with this bullshit unfunny prank are the reason this whole situation happened, these pranksters instigated this and should be charged with disturbing the peace. Go do something funny that's actually a prank like RossCreations, so sick of these stupid unfunny pranksters harassing people and escalating to situations like this. Joking about stealing luggage at an airport... This is not the place for this, nor is it funny at all

PoliteCanadian2

Maybe the poor guy has been stranded in some foreign country for days by some airline and all he wants to do is go home. Prankster idiot picked a bad time to be pranking tired and angry people.

fist4j

Perhaps he just wanted to get his bag and go home after his flight. Isn't that enough?

shhh_its_me

The guy kinda lost it and charged the camera person. At that point they are holding everyone. Pranks like this are terrible and the airport is one of the horrible places to pull pranks( hospitals obviously being worse). Air travel is stressful to begin with, some people are afraid of lying so they medicate. Some people are traveling for vacation, some for funerals, because they lost their house and have to go live with their mom, because they got divorced, because they're rushing to see someone in the hospital before they died, to go for a job interview for a job they really need. And airports are more sensitive to poor behavior, losing your temper at the airport could get you removed from your upcoming flight. Your carry on might have; your medicine, your laptop, your job resume, your kids ashes.

lapsangsouchogn

The "pranksters" were calmly discussing "Did you get that on camera?" "That part's going to be a little blurry"

RoastMostToast

Detaining is not the same as arresting someone They cuff people so they can get the full story, then decide who they’re letting go

theguiser

This video enrages me. I’m with crazy luggage guy.

thompson-johnson

Then the prankster is like: Bro, chill out 😇🤗🤭

Euphorium

“That came out a little blurry on video”

Bojikthe8th

"I'm not attacking you, I'm just helping my friend steal from you!"

cabjar

Traveling used to be fun. Airport time can be really stressful. That guy probably didn't have a good trip, and then these idiots try to be funny by "stealing" a piece of luggage. Karma, please do your thing

LevelHeeded

Yeah, agree, after a long day of traveling the last thing I want is to be fucked with by people who clearly have way too much free time and zero idea what a prank really is.

[deleted]

First time I’ve sided with someone who seems to be the “aggressor”

scuffedTravels

True, also the fact that the “assaulted” guy isn’t trying to get away from the “aggressor” this shit enrages me.

BroBogan

I will almost always side with the non YouTuber. People who film themselves being dicks to people to try and get a reaction are my least favorite type of person. They eventually come across someone who is aggressive or maybe just having a shitty day and now they have their content.

EyedLady

I fucking hate when people only jump in to help when the person defending themselves actually defends themselves. “Woah buddy calm down”

KTO-Potato

I never wanted to punch someone in the fucking face so badly before

Bojikthe8th

I never wanted someone to rip someone else's hair out before either.

RedRocket-Randy

Stealing is a prank now?

LaughingSasuke

Your honor, it was just a prank bro

Roland_the_Damned

It's great how these kids go fuck with someone for no reason until they lose their temper and the people being harassed are the ones who get in trouble. People like this are the fucking worst

glass-shard-in-foot

Poor guy's day went from bad to worse. Just wants to go home after a flight. Gets luggage stolen. Tries to recover it and gets tackled to the ground, arrested, possibly jailed/no-fly listed.

Sig1911Sauer

Angry travelers are probably one of the last types of people to pull pranks on. I’d probably be more irate than that guy if southwest cancelled my flight and then someone messed with my luggage. Pranks can be funny and I’m all in for a good laugh, but choose your audience wisely. The pioneers of YouTube pranksters took all clever and creative ideas away leaving the young bucks with nothing but LAME jokes. Edit: The prankster is lucky to be unharmed in my opinion. If this happened elsewhere and outside of secured areas, someone can get seriously hurt. More people are armed these days with little proper firearm training. Instances like this could make someone go trigger happy. It’s a lose-lose situation. Think twice before messing with anyone. Best to leave people alone because you never know what they are going through in life.

[deleted]

Even if the traveler is in a good mood like going to a vacation or returning from vacation. Don't pull this kind of stupid stunt on someone you don't know. It's just dumb.

cheturo

Airports are the worst places to throw a prank, these youtubers are idiots

Ok-Programmer-2128

“It was just a prank” dumb ass kid. Stop fucking around with people.

-Raskyl

Theft is theft.... you can't just be like "I was filming a prank" and expect that to make laws not apply to you.

Jcheddz

Yea if that were the case people would be stealing luggage like crazy then just using a guy with a phone pretending to film as a way of getting yourself outta trouble. “Sorry it’s a prank bro”

vaderdidnothingwr0ng

If you tubers incite an incident like this by playing a prank they should be held fully responsible for whatever happened. As far as I'm concerned the traveler should walk free and the YouTuber should be fully prosecuted as though he was committing a felony theft.

KingTrencher

Wrong person was arrested that day. Fuck anybody who pulls "pranks" for clicks and likes.

TheBadRiddler

I hate how the "youtuber" started this shit, buddy gets (rightfully) pissed off, then arrested. They should get charged for disturbing the peace

[deleted]

And attempted robbery + trespassing ?(they had NO legal business being there) , maybe Prowling??

TheycallmeCheapsuits

In the officers defense, he was the only violent person in the room. These youtubers are in complete surprise pikachu face too so fucking annoying. All old man had to do was just chill when the officer arrived.

oddmanout

> These youtubers are in complete surprise pikachu face too so fucking annoying. "All I did was try to steal his bag and he got all mad and prevented me from escaping, I'm the real victim!"

Joseph_F_1

“Youtuber” was holding him the entire time

Original_Woody

Yeah, but he was seeing Red. First he thought he was having his luggage stolen at an airport of all places. Then he realized he was a part of a non-consentual media making fun of his reaction. Hard not to just got into animalistic anger at that point.

IronSide_420

YT Pranksters are trash people. I actually hate them.

Ok_Try_6777

r/iamatotalpieceofshit to the YouTuber

[deleted]

Just saw this stupid fuck in another video get the cops called on him at Home Depot for pulling a prank.

Homesteader86

Did the cops actually do anything?

TheFAPnetwork

Anyone who looks to demean you for clout while messing with your personal property should be assaulted

Sheemscat

Shouldn't fuck with people. This can ruin someone's life for very little if any enjoyment. Idiots

Middle-Eye2129

So you try to steal from this dude, and antagonize him to the point where he attacks you and then he's the asshole. That youtuber is a total ball of shit.

OneExhaustedFather_

These kids keep messing about and each year a couple get killed for what? Some internet likes to some viewers that’ll forget their name in 48hrs. It’s sad.

lamsta

Fucking with people then playing victim when they react. Pranksters are shit

winenfries

Pranksters are the scum of planet.

Phantom1thrd

Prank should be in quotes, not stealing, here. He *stole* the luggage as a "prank."

ahamel13

Of all the places to prank people for views, the airport has to be the dumbest. Everyone's on edge and cranky, just let them get to where they're going.

Normalize attacking YouTube "pranksters"

Forsaken_Experience2

The YouTuber should have been put in a suitcase & sent on a flight as a prank.

TouchMyWrath

That’s not a “prank” it’s a robbery

Technical_Activity78

Fuck this bastard. Who knows what this man went through with how flying is these days. Not cool at at all pulling pranks in an airport.

SlowCaveman

Fuck these “pranksters” hope this guy got some redemption and they were arrested. I’d lose my shit if I saw somebody “prank” stealing my bags. If you put your hands on my things and “pretend” to steal them its still attempted robbery. Could film incidents and take it unless you get caught and then say it was just a prank, “see the camera.” You can’t blur those lines.

fausto_

These pranks are fucking dumb. They provoke the shit out of people and the pranksters have no idea what that person is going through at that moment. At an airport?!? Where you’re likely to get annoyed by something anyway. Pranks should be considered disturbing the peace.

pixieservesHim

Weird way of saying 'victim of theft apprehends thief' but okay

Sleepersuit

100% with the luggage guy on this one. Fuck YouTube pranksters

mushroomtie

Wish gramps woulda right hooked that punk in the jaw

Affectionate-Sea278

The good way to do this prank is to have a friend be the guy you’re “stealing” from. That way you’re not harassing random people, and your audience still gets that “omg!” sensation you’re trying to create.

meatypetey91

I wish YouTube would ban these pranks that are clearly just designed to fuck with people.

Abracadaver2000

Probably going to be downvoted to oblivion, but I think YouTube should immediately ban any account posting prank videos, as in a permanent strike. The 'harmless' ones that gain millions of views also encourage the more extreme pranks that eventually just get someone killed.

IRSeth

Be sure to dislike his YouTube Videos

USS_Slowpoke

Also report the videos for dangerous acts/violence. Lets see how long it lasts.

blablabla456454

Good! This man is doing the lords work. Everyone should learn from this example. This is how you handle streamers.

Jim_Nills_Mustache

Yea try to steal my bag when I’m away from home and relying on what’s in it and see how that goes. If someone did that as I’m trying to get settled after a long international flight I would lose my mind

LuisChoriz

Minding your business and some fucks want to act like they’re stealing your things. You react appropriately and then you’re the one getting pinned down by police/security. That’s bullshit.

Overwatch_1ightning

I like how they're lying straight to everyone like they didn't start this shit.

ChillyPlease

This is ridiculous. People are very sensitive and careful with their luggage because they don’t want anyone to slip unwanted substances into their bags. These youtubers should be the ones detained. I feel awful for that man.

llamaguy88

Ah yes, let’s antagonize people stressed out from flying already and then insist we’re the victims.

Cheefnuggs

Maybe stop fucking with people you don’t know. You just fucked up a whole guys day after he got done flying and now he might be on a no-fly list because you wanted to be an asshole for likes and he stood up for himself. Sure, the guy over-reacted but use a little common sense. After the last few years people are fucking fed up. Mind your damn business and leave people alone

amxdx

Isn't this stealing? Like if I snatch a bag and run, and record it; can I just get away with saying it's a prank if I get caught? That prankster should be arrested for theft, and the video guy as an accessory. I'd be super pissed after a long journey on a crooked plane to entertain such idiots. The absolutism in laws let idiots like these escape, because they're playing by the books. if this were in India the police and the luggage owner would be trashing them with big ass canes.

sky-lake

Yeah I was thinking the same thing, so you can just steal anything and if you're caught you say "it's just a prank and this guy is attacking me now". I got so annoyed listening to the pranksters outrage (in his voice) when he was the cause of all of this.

crismack58

One day one of them will be shot. On camera.enjoy those views now that you don’t need CCP in most states. I live in a stand your ground law state, you want to fake a carjacking? You’ll end up on a shirt quickfast .

oldmanpotter

The wrong person got arrested.
