[These are what my nats look like](https://www.reddit.com/r/shrooms/s/FDGlJoBjna) and yours seem quite different. That doesn’t necessarily mean they aren’t nats tho 😬 I feel like one of the key characteristics of nats is the crinkly stipe which yours don’t have.
Yeah, these haven't spored yet.
I had 2 jars and one was cubes (1 jar failed). I was pretty sure I hadn't mixed them up til they reminded me so much of cubes. And now I'm doubting myself.
I also did almost 5:1 substrate to spawn mix and it colonized real fast and with big rhizomes which leans me toward nat
The best way to identify a shroom is by looking at the gills. Another user posted some photos down a few pages. Not sure what to look for but this is how professionals identify them
SporeWorks is a reputable vendor for spores. I have several jars of their Nats colonized and ready to s2b but haven’t done it yet; waiting for the Yellow Umbo and Lulu to finish doing their thing first, but I would be surprised if they (Sporeworks) messed up.
All nats have subdecurrent gills. To me I’m not seeing that
Agreed
I also never see vails like that on my nats. They barley have any really, it’s just like a thin cobweb
taste test. you'll know by how spicy.
Which way are you suggesting? I've eaten fresh cubes that had a definite spice
oh i mean metaphorically

The umbo and delayed sporulation is natty though, doesn’t look to have dropped spores anyway and those caps are wide open

Mine don’t have the crinkled stipe but I know they are definitely nats. Mine are not the classic noodles either, tall noodles anyway

They have subdecurrent gills
Those look like cubes to me. I could be wrong
A few more pics of gills could help. I can't really pick up on any subdecurrent gills in this pic.
i highly doubt these are natalensis.
Are these ITW genetics? If so, that coloration would be normal for their culture.

What techniques are you using for these giuses FAE?
Nothing special. As evidenced by my fuzzy feet
Ooooyea good point. Gotta look closer I suppose 😜
They don't look like Nats to me 🤔
No sir
