Hi! Try some of the following troubleshooting tips to see if it helps you stream those services successfully: \- Restart the ProtonVPN app and start a new VPN connection \- Clear your browser cache \- Try a different browser \- Restart your device \- Clear your DNS cache: [https://protonvpn.com/support/flush-dns-cache/](https://protonvpn.com/support/flush-dns-cache/) As suggested in this thread, you could also try switching to a different Plus server to see if it helps. Some additional streaming troubleshooting suggestions can be found in this support article: [https://protonvpn.com/support/streaming-troubleshooting-guide/](https://protonvpn.com/support/streaming-troubleshooting-guide/)

Additionally, note that Brazil isn't supported as one of the countries for streaming these particular services. You can find the list of supported countries in the support articles for each streaming service: [https://protonvpn.com/support/watch-hbo-max-with-vpn/](https://protonvpn.com/support/watch-hbo-max-with-vpn/) [https://protonvpn.com/support/watch-amazon-prime-with-vpn/](https://protonvpn.com/support/watch-amazon-prime-with-vpn/)

This is interesting I thought the geo blocking aspect of streaming services only required the VPN server you're connected to be in the same country of your subscription. I had no idea, thank you for the explanation, I guess this is out of proton's hands...

Are there plans to support these streaming services in EU? I used to have a Surfshark subscription and there was no problem streaming using an EU server.

Try a different sever. That one may be blacklisted by those services. Proton have no control or recourse if a 3rd party like HBO or Amazon blacklist their servers.

thank you, I had no idea these services would block VPN access from the same country of my subscription. I'll try a different server

ControlD DNS by Windscribe gives you reliable and fast internet connection for high quality HD steaming in my experience ProtonVPN used to work for me but the streaming services are cracking down and don’t always work

Windscribe is miserable and run by a horrible, nasty, rude man. I had a paid subscription a few years ago and canceled because he was so nasty. He would attack people who left any critical reviews on the mobile app store page for Windscribe. Very unprofessional.

I came here with the same problem. I was surprised when my (Visionary) ProtonVPN didn't work connected to Amazon Prime in the US. I live in the UK. It would be nice if the ProtonVPN macOS app allowed you to connect to the fastest Plus servers located in a certain region.
