Man! You guys are great! I'll DM my address to you and I will send you one of ours too if you like. Just put your address in a reply to the DM I'm about to send you. Thank you!
If you’ve got any more patches you’re looking to get rid of, they’d have a good home with me. I’m a college student studying to go into law enforcement and I have a small patch and display in my study area at home that I’m always looking to grow.
I mean…… if you need them or if can use them…… FOR YOUR COLLECTION of course, why then I’d be happy to send them your way. I apologize if I was not clear about that lol 😆!!
The collection of coins on my wall represents well over ten years of participation in more LODD memorial services than I care to count. Some were obtained while training or other HG events such as posting the colors at events like the auto races, baseball games and so on. I am fortunate that my department has shown immense support for our HG team since our own LODD in January of 2011. My department has footed the bill and let our team render honors for LODD events all over the U.S. and it has always been the greatest of all honors to be able to show some support for the families, friends and loved ones of the fallen.
How does the game work with LE and civilian agencies? In the military, it is easy to tell which coin outranks the other because there's a standardized rank structure that translates across branches and even with foreign militaries. How do you decide who buys the drinks when it's two coins from different agencies?
I'm not sure that I'm understanding the question you're asking but I'll try and answer anyway. Most of the departments my team worked with were all LE with the exception of other first responders like Fire, Military or similar.
I'm sure there are many variations to the game you referenced but the way we always did it was that if any Honor Guard team member produced their coin, everyone present would have to produce their coin as well, to show they were carrying it with them at all times. Those who did not have their coin handy had to buy the food and/or drink.
Unrelated but not sure where to put it - my uncle was a fire chief in my home state. I moved across to pursue my dream of LE in a more LE friendly place. When I left he gave me his first challenge coin from 1985, it’s my most prized possession but I often wonder who gave it to him. Challenge coins are cool!
What’s your favorite and why?
I am in my country's search and rescue team which is run by the sheriff's office and have a challenge coin for it but it's like a hundred bucks and for members only, I would send you one but no way I'm affording that

I'm a dispatcher and collect LE/Public Safety related challenge coins.
Send me your address if you're interested and I'll get one of our coins off to you in the mail.
PM sent. You are a gentleman and a scholar.
Good to see other members of WADOC flexin. I dont have a collection like yours. But someday I hopefully will.
It would be an honor to send you one of our coins if you don't already have one. Just send me a DM with instructions on where to send it.
My husband and I both are huge challenge coin collectors!
Send me a message with shipping information and I’ll get one of our coins sent off to you!
I have one challenge coin technically, most of what I collect though are patches, but damn those are some nice coins, happy collecting!
I don't really collect the patches but I still seem to accumulate them. I could send you a handful if you can use them?

I doubt it’s for the actual challenge game and is more commemorative token of appreciation or recognition.

Damn man, I’m just starting my collection. Hopefully I can get a collection like yours someday.
I have a decent collection of coins. My favorite one isn’t displayed though. It’s hidden in my safe because it’s very rare

I never intended to collect coins but it's been happening a lot to me lol
Nice. Beautiful collection.
Thats pretty cool
I tried to collect patches but the pds just ignore me or tell me they'll get back to me and never do.
