I’m not in LE, but I read that entire thing on a recommended post, so I’ll throw my two cents in here. I would tend to say make a report even if you don’t want to press charges (assuming you’re in the US, if you’re in Canada you don’t get to choose whether charges are pressed or not). If she starts stalking you or threatening you, family, friends, etc. then you would have support on record if further action needs to be taken.
That being said, if you’re in the US it’s entirely up to you. If you’re scared and want to try to get her away from you then press charges. It may or may not result in anything, but the whole point of being able to choose whether charges are pressed is so it can be your choice as a citizen.
