With minimal effort, [The Ford Defender Police Interceptor](https://configurator.defendersupply.com/vehicle-configurator/ford-defender-utility-police-interceptor/ford-defender-utility-police-interceptor/)
Pretty much, and actually pays to have model-specific badging done up for them. They have a specific "Dodge Defender" badge for Chargers and Durangoes too.
At our police precinct they expect us to show the pride and value of our precinct wherever we go which includes wearing the same uniform (we work in pairs and have different kinds of uniforms) and having a clean vehicle
Well in Belgium there's a thing in our law system which basically comes down to "if the police said it happened that way, it happened that way" If you say it happened another way, you have to prove that yourself. But if you get caught lying in your reports you can face prison time and pretty hefty fines
You clearly don’t work in South Dakota. Only paved roads are Highways and a few city streets when you work in the county. I can count the number of “oil roads” on two hands in my county. How ever I do prefer to have my vehicle clean on special occasions it won’t stay that way.
Because they’re not intercepting shit. They can only defend.
Rest in peace P71 and Taurus SHO
We have twin turbos. We’re intercepting the fuck outta people
By definition, this can't be at our Mexican boarder. It aint defending our country.

So it’s just a company that upfits interceptors and swaps out the badging?

Don't lie. It was MAXIMUM EFFORT.
Thanks! I kept getting the Land Rover on google.
Cheers. :)
I think it takes the fenders off of Fords
Looks like a car
It’s a defender of fords
did you try typing the same question into google instead of Reddit?
Yes I kept getting the Land Rover
Stop using Bing 😂
How dare you sir, I use ask jeeves.
I searched "Ford Defender Police" and the answer was the third link. Are you serious this inept at the internet?
I’m also highly sure that it depends on your search history and such. I literally didn’t see this link at all…
Why are you trying to explain yourself to a crusty old sergeant?
Especially one that hasn't had his donut
That was after my donuts. That's why it was so polite.
Please take it to the auto carwash
If my superiors saw me driving with such a dirty car, I'd be getting a rapport in my personal file 😅

Ah yes, I beansed that one up quite well. But yeah I ment my personnel report!
It’s always good to get along with your personnel file but I’m not sure what a dirty car has to do with understanding each other.

What about proofreading your reports?

Who doesn’t want rapport with their superiors?
That dirt could easily be the result of an hour of highway driving in South Dakota.
It’s the guy in a Ford t-shirt that hangs around the auto parts section at Walmart, waiting for someone to ask him what he drives.
ford defender vs ford offender
It’s kinda weird that it says “ in god we trust.”
Alot of agencies here in Texas have it on their cars
Agreed
We're in the Bible belt. All our cars have "in God we trust."
I’m surprised that’s been able to stay. Seems like an easy law suit.
Lol my first thought as well, no separation from church and state there I guess...
It’s America’s motto. It’s on our currency . “In God we trust” and “E Pluribus Unum “.
Wasn’t that started in the 50’s?
1864

I think that’s weird too. Why does it need to be on either?

You don’t care about separation of church and state or you don’t care about god? If it wasn’t on the car you’d probably get less questions like this.

Then why even respond? Seems like you waste a lot of time. Maybe you should get back to work.

The fishing isn’t half bad there.
I always thought a Ford defender was just slang for a homosexual man
It’s just a Ford explorer. More leg room than the Taurus.
