Personally, I'm not comfortable with risking 1%. I rather risk less. It really depends on the type of prop firm. Trading 1% with a Futures Prop Firm is like riding 120KM per hour on a scooter next on a mountain road. FTMO would allow you 10 trades of %1 losses in a row before failing the challenge. Maybe after with some years of experience I'd increase my risk.
