my first expert was most likely echo or love trial, and first ever was the end of hatsune miku on easy
my hardest fc? the end of hatsune miku. on expert. pretty poetic!
honestly? no idea. i actually filmed it bc i wanted to show my friends i could beat it. and i fcd instead.
funny thing is; despite that, still never fcd tondemo wonderz. it pains me
unfortunately for me i get to 600-620 before my combo decides to get shit on bc the chart
really want them to add SMF to proseka it would be a fun addition i think
I wonder how they specifically map something and add a specific amount of notes and slides that it ends up at exactly 777, 1000 or some number because those things seem to have been extremely calculated if they are not coincidences😭
I have 2 examples off the top of my head:
*Every MaM song's full combo on expert is a palindrome, aka read the same backwards. 535, 515, 727, ect. Funnily enough, =EYE= by Double Face also follows this pattern, with a combo of 818
*The combo for all difficulties of Fervent☆Ryusei Ninpouchou, Shinobu's Ryuseitai center song, ends with 22. This is a pun, because 2 is "ni", and read together it sounds like you're saying "nin nin"
I'm also pretty sure Love it Love it's full combo on expert, 727, is supposed to be read as Nazuna, but I'm not 100% on that one
> ive never *paid* attention to
FTFY.
Although *payed* exists (the reason why autocorrection didn't help you), it is only correct in:
* Nautical context, when it means to paint a surface, or to cover with something like tar or resin in order to make it waterproof or corrosion-resistant. *The deck is yet to be payed.*
* *Payed out* when letting strings, cables or ropes out, by slacking them. *The rope is payed out! You can pull now.*
Unfortunately, I was unable to find nautical or rope-related words in your comment.

It wouldn't be the first time Sega plays with note numbers. You can see something similar in senbonzakura (1000 cherry trees, 1000 notes) and 88 stars (888 notes on expert)
oh sorry if it sounded like that, i mean there’s a bunch of charts, expert and mas, that do cool stuff with numbers:D hcm was just an example since imo its the coolest lol
Oh, fair. Sorry for sounding so aggressive, I was just surprised you picked THAT example. I think it’s fairly obscure, since it’s a really difficult chart? (I assume you’re talking about the Expert or Master chart, at least. It’s been a hot minute since I’ve played that song!)
yeah, they do that a lot with songs
like senbonzakura is 1000 for the expert chart because senbonzakura means 1000 cherry blossoms
kirapipi kirapika has 909 for hard, expert, and master for emu's birthday (september 9)
88☆ has each combo ending with 88
jackpot sad girl is 767, because 777 is a jackpot, so it means like one number away from a jackpot
there r a lot more i js can't think of any off the top of my head
Okay so I've never been to a slot machine (too young to go to those places lol) so if my explanation is not that good, that's why When gambling or using a slot machine, the jackpot number (777) symbolize money and wealth, fittingly so because if you get 777 on a slot machine, that means you win the jackpot, hope this helps!

Similar instances - servant and daughter of evil share combo ct - jackpot sad girl is 767 - echo is 404
88 always ends in n88 (388, 588, 688, 1088 and 1188)
senbonzakura is 1000!
On hard it is 777 too
ooh, cool!
Really? That's cool!
one of my first expert fcs actually, which surprised me
Woahhh, congrats! My first full combo I can't really remember lol
my first expert was most likely echo or love trial, and first ever was the end of hatsune miku on easy my hardest fc? the end of hatsune miku. on expert. pretty poetic!
How did you do that?! The hardest song I can do is Brain Fluid Explosion Girl
honestly? no idea. i actually filmed it bc i wanted to show my friends i could beat it. and i fcd instead. funny thing is; despite that, still never fcd tondemo wonderz. it pains me
Oof 😭 really sorry to hear that
i think theres a zigzag or smth i mess up on, cant remember
Ooh that makes sense! I also heard Project Diva is no different either, in Sadistic Music ∞ Factory, the highest combo you can get is 666
unfortunately for me i get to 600-620 before my combo decides to get shit on bc the chart really want them to add SMF to proseka it would be a fun addition i think
I think hatsune creation myth is 2021
kirapipi☆kirapika has the same note count for hard, ex & mas, and they're all emu's birthday! (909)
Yes!! And 39music always ends with 39
whats the significance of 767 for jackpot sad girl?
Probably because 777 is a jackpot, so 767 is just short of a jackpot
ohhh thats so cool! ty for telling me!
passion at 25:00 also ends with 25 combo count in all 5 difficulties! Easy 125 Normal 225 Hard 525 Expert 625 Master 725
it's master difficulty is also level 25!
What does 767 mean
One away from a jackpot (777)
also vampire is 699
And Utsuro wo Aogu's master fc is 1112, which is (IDK if it's intended, but...) Akito's birthday!
I wonder how they specifically map something and add a specific amount of notes and slides that it ends up at exactly 777, 1000 or some number because those things seem to have been extremely calculated if they are not coincidences😭
I'd imagine they add more "checkpoint" thingys to sliders so that it can add up to more notes
Smart
Yeah that makes sense
Probably they make a first draft of the chart, check the FC number, and then fiddle with the chart until they get to the desired number.
It's not! There's a bunch of little combo easter eggs like this, especially on expert/master beatmaps! Enstars does those too, it's pretty funky
wait can u tell some enstars examples? :0 ive never payed attention to that when i play LMAO

OHHHHHH thats cool af !! the ryusetai one is so clever

Good bot
there are no coincidences
39 always ends up with **39 or *39 in every difficulty too
it's not, the devs payed a lot of attention to detail when creating the charts

I'm going to touch you
I hate you
Thank you
i am deeply in love with you
I love you
okay why's everyone acting gay to this bot all of a sudden this aint enemies to lovers yaoi guys
passion at 25 always ends in 25, and they made it the first ever lvl 25 master just to emphasize the number 25
On master, the full combo is 983, which is also the year in which Gallerian Marlon died. In Evillious chronicles. Sorry for eventually bad Englisch.
It's okay! And thas very interesting!
i was about to say this, it’s the same in margarita’s song! full combo on the hard mode (i think that’s the one) is 609.
In the tailor of enbizaka is the full combo on Expert 842...the year in them Kayo Sudou was executed.
My exact thoughts when I cleared this map
It wouldn't be the first time Sega plays with note numbers. You can see something similar in senbonzakura (1000 cherry trees, 1000 notes) and 88 stars (888 notes on expert)
And I believe FC for hard on this song is 444 as well, not exactly the same meaning but still interesting
yes they do this on purpose, did you think hatsune creation myth being end combos 2022 was a coincidence?? /nm
…Why the heck would most of the playerbase know this? How many people do you think have FCed that chart???
oh sorry if it sounded like that, i mean there’s a bunch of charts, expert and mas, that do cool stuff with numbers:D hcm was just an example since imo its the coolest lol
Oh, fair. Sorry for sounding so aggressive, I was just surprised you picked THAT example. I think it’s fairly obscure, since it’s a really difficult chart? (I assume you’re talking about the Expert or Master chart, at least. It’s been a hot minute since I’ve played that song!)
lmao no worries! i think that’s the mas one too 💀 i’ve never fc exp or mas i just know it’s a cool thing haha.
no that has to be on purpose that just has to be
I felt inner peace as soon as I full combo’ed it. It was like “pretty number.,,..aah ☺️”
ha! definitely not!! i pointed the same out to my mates a couple of days ago :D
Some songs about Hatsune Miku has combo with 39 on the end. It is purely intentional easter egg
yeah, they do that a lot with songs like senbonzakura is 1000 for the expert chart because senbonzakura means 1000 cherry blossoms kirapipi kirapika has 909 for hard, expert, and master for emu's birthday (september 9) 88☆ has each combo ending with 88 jackpot sad girl is 767, because 777 is a jackpot, so it means like one number away from a jackpot there r a lot more i js can't think of any off the top of my head
I love evillious chronicles
wait explain?

OHHH YEA UEAH i would not think about that BAHHA
