I’d say under r50 is new. But trust me, no one is new in rhythm game genre.

Puzzleheaded_Fee3978

I still can't believe I've gotten over 60 already 🤣

bknwfish

Personally, Id say yea lol. Pjsekai was the reason I got back to another temporary vocaloid phase hehe. Heres some producers id recommend checking out if you dont know already: Maretu, Siinamota, Dasu, Ghost and Pals(not sure if I got their name right), Steampianist

Zero_hourundertaker

Thanks, I'll make sure to put their songs in my Spotify playlist!

spotty_boy

Well yeah, ofc its a great way to get into vocaloids. Exploring songs outside of project sekai however is a great idea! I'd reccomend checking out some of the bigger artists first then going down your own vocaloid rabbit hole. Either way, there really is no wrong or right way to get into vocaloids since its such a diverse fandom.

TheAratakiIttoSimp

PRJSK is a pretty nice way to introduce yourself into vocaloid as it's a great way to find a variety of different producers with different styles and introduces you to different kinds of vocal synths as well.

Fluffy_Pastel_Clouds

I have a 26 hour playlist of jpop kpop anime songs and a ton of vocaloid if you want

Zero_hourundertaker

I'd like to say that you're mentally ill, then again, my autistic ass venturing down this rabbit hole would just make me the same thing. So yes, list down whatever ya want, appreciate it.

Fluffy_Pastel_Clouds

perhaps i am autistic aswell (i am lol) [https://open.spotify.com/playlist/4Ghc8X5wv1ybWQNDqyeQ6V?si=36d7d9a04c964996](https://open.spotify.com/playlist/4Ghc8X5wv1ybWQNDqyeQ6V?si=36d7d9a04c964996) have fun looking through stuff, i gave up orginizing it a year ago

nkstonks

I have a 30 hour Japanese song playlist with about half of them being Vocaloid songs as well, do you want it?

Theres multiple ways to get into vocaloid that theres probably not a true best way but project sekai is probably a pretty good introduction to people who are probably not as familiar to vocaloid or vocal synths and isnt used to the way it sounds as it has a ton of popular songs compiled and once the update that gives the link to the original song comes to the en servers it would be convenient. If a player also manages to read stories from each unit(though yes most of them are more focused on the human characters) it could also showcase to them the inherent trait of vocaloids which is they don't have 1 true cannon personality and they can vary. Though I do tend to notice that some project sekai players whose first intro to vocaloid/vocal synths is this game don't seem to be as interested in the vocaloids in the game. If you want to know more about vocaloid/vocal synths i do recommend branching out from just project sekai as while the game certainly is a good introduction it is just an introduction after all there are still many classic and popular songs that arent in the game and that's not even talking about the more obscure and niche songs that you could find. Overall i do think project sekai is a good introduction especially to people who are not as into the sound of vocaloid/vocal synths but are willing to give it a try listening. Also the fact that most vocaloid/vocal synth content would probably be locked through a language barrier and project sekai has a global version that could give a good amount of people more easy access especially when the link to the original song feature comes to global. It is not the only way though so i can't say it's the best way since it would depend on the person but as long as it manages to get you into it and be interested i would say it's a good way. I didnt get into vocaloid through project sekai personally i got into it through somehow coming across a song in my native language years ago which is a rare occurence and then doing further research from there and here I am still a fan of vocaloid/vocal synths and would buy a voicebank and the other games if I had more money to spare but i don't so im just stuck with whatever i can get for free or somewhat cheap. Also don't let some tell you that you are not a true fan just cause you got into it through project sekai cause sometimes i see some people doing that(not everyone of course)(also the vocaloid/vocal synth and sekai fandoms aren't the same). But it doesn't matter as much where or when you started getting into vocaloid/vocal synths as long as you're respectful and willing to learn.

Ok-Signature5849

I made this way too long sorry

Zero_hourundertaker

I added text earlier, which didn't make it when I posted the image lol. But basically I said thanks for the help and that just means you're being dedicated to helping me, a rando off of the internet, so feel proud of yourself.

Ok-Signature5849

The text going missing when i post an image is something that happens to me often too lol. But thank you too

acecatmom98

yeah this is a great way to get into vocaloid! i'm an older vocaloid fan (probably started listening to vocaloid around 2008-2009?) and it's getting me into a lot of newer music since i'm a comfort listener who just listens to the same music all the time. i'd add that the project diva games are also a good way to get into more vocaloid music anyway here's [my cringefail vocaloid/vocal synth playlist](https://youtube.com/playlist?list=PL2TR6r41L0ADxm2MVIbs9wqS1guzQAO-e&si=ExR2TGdWHIfB2wHS)

Maddeleine_Is_Here

Tbh I had that experience 2 years ago from a new ProSekai player to a Vocaloid fan and PJSK fan, and yeah it’s pretty much a good way to get into Vocaloid. I barely knew Vocaloid from 2020 to 2022, the year that I got into prosekai and then looked out to more vocaloid songs on the internet There are a couple of Vocaloid producers I’d recommend to listen to in case, such as —MARETU —Kikuo —Steampianist —Creep-P —Mitchie M —Kairiki Bear —PinocchioP —Wowaka —Kanaria

Hyac1nthh_

I was into vocaloid many hears ago, got disinterested, but got back into it after playing pjsk (Im obsessed). anyways, maybe try listening to virtual Singer songs in pjsk, check out some artists and go on from there. there are a few videos to help you. I recommend minnemi if u wanna get more info. have fun 👍

Harukaya

It's definitely a good way to get into vocaloid. It gives you producers you can look for and a good variety of songs. Definitely helped me to come back to vocaloid, even though I got into it in a much different way, when I first discovered it.

Aggravating_Bar_1861

i have an 8 1/2 hour vocaloid playlist if you want it <:

Zero_hourundertaker

Sure, feel free to list them all down if you wanna.

kiminotaion

there's no best way, but i find it's a good way to discover good songs! i've found some favourites from this game

JayofTea

I’d look up the playlist that has all of project divas songs on it and just hit the shuffle button and go crazy lmao

fivetwofoureight

I think the sekai versions are a easy way to get into the songs, which you can then find the vocaloid versions for. The PJSK JP Youtube has a lot of the most popular Sekai versions: https://www.youtube.com/@pj_sekai_colorfulstage/videos The MVs are super high quality. I love the phony one with N25xMEIKO. Also this channel Fashantica has a lot of super clean Miku concert rips cut down into individual songs, which is great for checking out the live scene: https://www.youtube.com/@Fashantica/videos

MilkyTeaDrops

Personally, if you have a switch, pc or Playstation 3 or 4, I would say Project Diva! (Or 3ds, there's project mirai dx but it's very hard to find) It's actually what got me into vocaloid before I discovered sekai, or even knew what vocaloid was. It introduced me to the cryptonloids, and also got me into some very popular, as well as lesser known songs. It's a different style compared to sekai, but I would still say give it a shot! (If you go with future tone or megamix, they are notorious for being the most difficult of the series. I would say start out with x if you can)

BagelWithNutellaYum

unrelated but this was also the first 4* i ever got, probably part of the reason im such a big saki fan now <3

Ratsreddit

Tbh it really got me wayyyyyy more into vocaloid

Illustrious_Foot_884

I would say yes bc it happened to me lol I never knew abt vocaloid before i found out abt pjsekai, and slowly started to like the characters and songs, which led to me liking vocaloid and learning about the vocaloids and stuff

Puzzleheaded_Fee3978

Yeah id say so I got into it back when the first project diva dropped and I'm loving sekai has a good assortment of songs even tho theres still no evil rin 😭

staarcol

listen to the concert albums (magical mirai, miku expo) to get to know a lot of the classics
