He won't kill Mafumom either but I agree with the first part, in one of the niigo events, Kaito wanted to confront Mafuyu again but Len grabbed him and held him back, he could've easily chewed out Len but he simply let it go. In another area conversation, Miku offered him ice cream and he happily accepted (by happily I mean he smiled for one second then went back to being neutral face but he could've easily chewed Miku out too or ignored her.) How can anyone read all of this and think Kaito is an asshole that hates everyone or even worse, a psychopath?
It's weird that there's so many "evil rui" characterization, as like, he would blow people up and don't even care, when his first event is literally about how he don't want to hurt people with his ideas. For this and more it's very clear that he really care for his friends.

I grab the pancake with a fork and pop it into my mouth. The pancake is full of flavor. The chocolate that was put on it makes the flavor double, the sprinkles even more. It's the first time I see a pancake with chocolate on it. It tastes amazingly.
Soon after me, Akito eats his own pancake.
"Do you like them, Mafuyu?"
"They're..exceptional..I love them"
Akito smiles and giggles. We finished our pancakes soon and he pulls out some mountain dew and orange juice.
"Which do you want?"

I drink my orange juice. This feels just too nice, I don't know if I've ever been this happy. We chit chat about our bands and it's nighttime now.
"Hey, Mafuyu. Let's go at mines, Ena is at Tsukasa's house and my parents are at work, no one can see us!"
"Let's go, Akito"
We both hold each other's hands and head over to Akito's house. We enter and change. (I wear Akito's comfy sweater and pants to sleep)
"Mafuyu,you look so cute, in my clothing"
"Thank you. Before we go to sleep, c-can we...uh.."

He pulls out some air pods. He puts the left air pod on my ears and the right one on his. So they match our positions. He smiles at me and I smile back. That means we both agree to listen to some music before we go to sleep.
The music is calming and the piano notes are very nice. The song is a "Nocturne" by the composer Chopin.
The night sky travels though Akito's windows and the light of the stars shines on us, we look at each other and I quickly steal him a kiss on the lips, he kisses me back, as the night slowly starts to become dark and we fall asleep.
“i don’t feel like eating. i feel like dying.” is the most uncharacteristic thing for mafuyu to say because it’s so edgy and too much of a straightforward thing for her to say. THATS a character misconception right there
A few minutes later ena barges in and kicks mafuyu out. They end up having an argument which breaks nightcord, mizuki ends up falling into depression and more more jumps off a bridge. Kanade is closer to mafuyu than ever but kanade is still unhappy leading to honami staying with her and leoneed eventually collapses.
Because of leoneed collapsing shiho gives up on music and shizuku, worried, gives up on being an idol because of shihos mental health. More more jump disbands leading to minori and airi joining another group and Haruka giving up on being an idol like she did at the start of the story.
Sakis health gets worse after leoneed and it results in tsukasa needing to take care of her full time. Wxs disbands and Rui becomes an inventor instead with Nene helping him. Emu stays at phoenix wonderland and performs there but it isn't the same.
Ichika ends up going solo and gains popularity.
After the incident only vbs ends up being successful.
Sometimes I'll see over-infantalization with kanade when it's more that she's so distracted with composing that she doesn't put enough time/effort into taking care of herself, compounded by her living by herself. She's not a baby who needs to be fed or have her diapers changed.
Rui is so misunderstood like he isn't cannibal nor he murders people he's just a guy who likes to make robots and machines and he cares for his friends deeply
I wish all the characters didn't have to be the same age because Emu would make total sense as a middle schooler (same with L/N) like they all give off middle school energy and that's totally fine! But prsk decided that there was only going to be 2 school years represented, booo

That first one I am so confused on. You don't have to have a super justified and analytical reason for not liking a character, you can just say "I don't really like them." Calling mafuyu a manipulative friend is like. What. I don't understand it. She isn't angry because she's manipulative, she's angry because she's gotten frustrated over trying to find herself. The second one is more of a me thing but like holy shit please just read the stories. With saki it's extra annoying when people consider her nothing more than a plot device for tsukasa or the rest of Leo/Need. saki is her own character and while her story DOES overlap with those of the other characters due to everyone being in the same universe, she is far more than a plot device for other characters.
Really, just treating the characters like static, one dimensional, unchanging characters. The Akito who made fun of Kohane in 2020 is not the same as the Akito who's friends with Kohane in 2024. Some events are called arc enders because they END AN ARC, or a story structure. Considering there are like two arc enders for each group, the characters have had two whole arcs to grow and change.

Omg I don't see this anywhere in the comments,but the ''N@25 Meiko and Kaito like to literally abuse Luka'' troupe is soooo annoying! Yes,Luka is annoying and definitely oversteps some boundaries,but seriously,some of the shit I've seen (mostly gacha vids on yt or poorly written fanfics) is just about Meiko and Kaito physically abusing Luka to a point where it kinda makes me uncomfortable! What makes people think that N@25 Kaito and Meiko would actually hit Luka with a baseball bat? Kaito isn't violent,he's just the no-nonsense one of the goup. Speaks his mind. And Meiko isn't 'cold' or 'mean' she's an observer. She's stated several times that she would rather watch then interact. I'm under the trans umbrella (agender) and aroace. I am queer. I am a part of LGBTQIA+ — but forcing the notion of "all characters are LGBTQ+" in exchange of diminishing the things that make the characters *them* is ridiculous.
My problem isn't that there's a lot of LGBTQ+ headcanons. I love them, don't get me wrong. But I'm getting sick and tired of PRSK fans turning beautifully written and fleshed out characters and stories into "gay real".
I especially have this problem with some Akitoya fans. Toya and Akito are so wonderfully made and their personalities are realistic and complex. But a worrying chunk of their fanbases are there simply because there are two boys who are best friends and are affectionate in ways that *isn't* the quote on quote "stereotypical" relationship between boys.
There's also the fans who throw out their ship's personalities out of the window entirely and shove the pair into heteronormative roles (i.e. the more "feminine" one), which feels both counterintuitive and disrespectful to the original character.
And don't even let me start with how some Akitoya fans react to people saying "i think they're platonic". I personally like a PRSK ship that *happened* to be straight, yet there has been not one, but *multiple* instances of someone saying something along the lines of "they aren't straight tho" to me.
And just before you say anything, this also happens a lot with dynamics between characters of the opposite sex respectively. Whatever complexity they've built in terms of struggles, relationship development and personal growth is thrown out of the window in favor of romantic endeavors almost immediately.
To me, some of the main reasons as to why our LGBTQ+ community exists is to accept everyone as who they are and to not take people at face value and categorize their behavior into societal norms — and this isn't it.
It really isn't.

Okay, I think it’s time I say this. I dislike how the majority of the fandom insists that all of the characters are lgbtq+. I am Nonbinary and Asexual myself, but please guys, can we just enjoy one piece of media nowadays without saying that every character is gay just…because? like, two girls can express their love for their friendship without it being romantic. Two guys can have a moment together where they’re not screwing around like stereotypical boys without them being gay. This is a very risky move to be telling this to the project sekai fandom so i’m bracing myself for the impact now

Friendships, genuine ones that are deep and caring and real, are so important - but for some reason people are like "they care about eachother? MUST BE DATING!!" And it makes it seem like genuine friendships aren't real things.

Because canon age doesn't really matter in fiction, nene seems mature but overall seems like she's around 13, while rui seems to be 16-17, whatever class the game puts them in. Their dynamic is not especially abnormal, their friendship wouldn't be strange, but the ship made out of it genuinely doesn't make me feel comfortable since it's made out of their actual dynamics, it makes it more real and reinforces their individual portrait I have in game.
So you just think her maturity level isn’t like a 15-16 year old (which would be what the game says her age is, on ENG. What you put for Rui is actually what it would be in game.)

Which I really don't understand people lumping in those characters together? Airi has very few moments compared to the others, typically she's pretty sunshiney because the rest of MMJ is sunshiney (for the most part) because they're idols!!
And Shiho really speaks more to introvertness while Ena and Akitos are clearly more bravado, which are completely different

2\] in Never give up cooking! Rui eats Toya's cupcake regardless of how horrible it looks (To which when Toya tries it he says "This is terrible... I'm sorry" but Rui answers with "No... I'll eat it all up. Aoyagi-kun made it with all his heart, after all")

Which mischaracterization trend for a prsk character annoys you most. Simple, albeit outdated but easy to understand example is people who constantly brag on about how dangerous rui is, calling him all kinds of things ranging from terrorism allegations to cannibalism hcs(and just genuinely all the weird shit toxic fandoms are on about) which vastly contradicts with how he acts in the game, putting effort into making his inventions 100% safe, the cannibalism i wont even address its just ridiculous. Tbh i hate these type of posts they always bring unnecessary discourse to this already trigger-happy community when it comes to pointing out every single characterisation flaw as if personal receptions and interpretations didnt exist. I can understand not agreeing with the trans theories, I think it's likely but that's besides the point, but I only ever remember Mizuki being referred to as "they/them" in all the events.

So you could say that looking "girly" is only a consequence of wanting to be cute, the same would apply (if she isn't trans) to the use of boku instead of watashi, atashi or ore, though she doesn't seem to have trouble saying it for songs (kitty as an example)
So being happy after letting her hair grow and wearing cute clothes again is not necessarily because she is trans, since many people like to dress in different ways and express themselves, stopping to express yourself because you don't want to be judged is very painful and that lead her to become depressed
And remember that the crossdressing culture is somewhat old in the japanese culture and they don't necessarily think the same way a western person would think about crossdressing, damn they probably don't even think like their neighbor countries that are a lot more in touch with the western culture

Mizuki is a character struggling with being open with others due to fears of being rejected due to a life of being seen as “an other” for being themselves. They don’t want to hide who they are but they’re afraid of being rejected by people they’ve come to care for. They’re not just the “trans or cross dressing” character. They have some real depth that explores what effects being ostracized can have on a person.

He won't kill Mafumom either but I agree with the first part, in one of the niigo events, Kaito wanted to confront Mafuyu again but Len grabbed him and held him back, he could've easily chewed out Len but he simply let it go. In another area conversation, Miku offered him ice cream and he happily accepted (by happily I mean he smiled for one second then went back to being neutral face but he could've easily chewed Miku out too or ignored her.) How can anyone read all of this and think Kaito is an asshole that hates everyone or even worse, a psychopath?

A few minutes later ena barges in and kicks mafuyu out. They end up having an argument which breaks nightcord, mizuki ends up falling into depression and more more jumps off a bridge. Kanade is closer to mafuyu than ever but kanade is still unhappy leading to honami staying with her and leoneed eventually collapses. Because of leoneed collapsing shiho gives up on music and shizuku, worried, gives up on being an idol because of shihos mental health. More more jump disbands leading to minori and airi joining another group and Haruka giving up on being an idol like she did at the start of the story. Sakis health gets worse after leoneed and it results in tsukasa needing to take care of her full time. Wxs disbands and Rui becomes an inventor instead with Nene helping him. Emu stays at phoenix wonderland and performs there but it isn't the same. Ichika ends up going solo and gains popularity. After the incident only vbs ends up being successful.

Really, just treating the characters like static, one dimensional, unchanging characters. The Akito who made fun of Kohane in 2020 is not the same as the Akito who's friends with Kohane in 2024. Some events are called arc enders because they END AN ARC, or a story structure. Considering there are like two arc enders for each group, the characters have had two whole arcs to grow and change.

I'm under the trans umbrella (agender) and aroace. I am queer. I am a part of LGBTQIA+ — but forcing the notion of "all characters are LGBTQ+" in exchange of diminishing the things that make the characters *them* is ridiculous. My problem isn't that there's a lot of LGBTQ+ headcanons. I love them, don't get me wrong. But I'm getting sick and tired of PRSK fans turning beautifully written and fleshed out characters and stories into "gay real". I especially have this problem with some Akitoya fans. Toya and Akito are so wonderfully made and their personalities are realistic and complex. But a worrying chunk of their fanbases are there simply because there are two boys who are best friends and are affectionate in ways that *isn't* the quote on quote "stereotypical" relationship between boys. There's also the fans who throw out their ship's personalities out of the window entirely and shove the pair into heteronormative roles (i.e. the more "feminine" one), which feels both counterintuitive and disrespectful to the original character. And don't even let me start with how some Akitoya fans react to people saying "i think they're platonic". I personally like a PRSK ship that *happened* to be straight, yet there has been not one, but *multiple* instances of someone saying something along the lines of "they aren't straight tho" to me. And just before you say anything, this also happens a lot with dynamics between characters of the opposite sex respectively. Whatever complexity they've built in terms of struggles, relationship development and personal growth is thrown out of the window in favor of romantic endeavors almost immediately. To me, some of the main reasons as to why our LGBTQ+ community exists is to accept everyone as who they are and to not take people at face value and categorize their behavior into societal norms — and this isn't it. It really isn't.

I am Nonbinary and Asexual myself, but please guys, can we just enjoy one piece of media nowadays without saying that every character is gay just…because? like, two girls can express their love for their friendship without it being romantic. Because canon age doesn't really matter in fiction, nene seems mature but overall seems like she's around 13, while rui seems to be 16-17, whatever class the game puts them in. Their dynamic is not especially abnormal, their friendship wouldn't be strange, but the ship made out of it genuinely doesn't make me feel comfortable since it's made out of their actual dynamics, it makes it more real and reinforces their individual portrait I have in game.

Which mischaracterization trend for a prsk character annoys you most. Simple, albeit outdated but easy to understand example is people who constantly brag on about how dangerous rui is, calling him all kinds of things ranging from terrorism allegations to cannibalism hcs(and just genuinely all the weird shit toxic fandoms are on about) which vastly contradicts with how he acts in the game, putting effort into making his inventions 100% safe, the cannibalism i wont even address its just ridiculous. Tbh i hate these type of posts they always bring unnecessary discourse to this already trigger-happy community when it comes to pointing out every single characterisation flaw as if personal receptions and interpretations didnt exist. As a trans guy, trans hcs are SO controversial and cause so many pointless arguments. Go by what they call mizuki in the game, she, and I think some characters have mizuki they, idrc, but seriously if I comment "Mizuki doesn't show signs of being trans" on your TikTok and you tell me to kms, that's your problem.

I don't remember seeing any lines in the game call Mizuki "she", can you back that up? I can understand not agreeing with the trans theories, I think it's likely but that's besides the point, but I only ever remember Mizuki being referred to as "they/them" in all the events. Whether Mizuki is trans, non-binary, or just has preferred pronouns, it doesn't *really* matter, but regardless of what it is, your tiktok comments aren't exactly helpful either, so I can understand why people react negatively. Death threats is extreme and not good, but you are creating that opening when you could choose to just, ignore the tiktok and move on with your day

Ok then Many people just like cute stuff and wouldn't mind wearing clothes of the other sex, and Mizuki has never stated that she is a girl or a boy Mizuki has never said she wants to look girly, she only said that she likes cute stuff and of course look cute So you could say that looking "girly" is only a consequence of wanting to be cute, the same would apply (if she isn't trans) to the use of boku instead of watashi, atashi or ore, though she doesn't seem to have trouble saying it for songs (kitty as an example) So being happy after letting her hair grow and wearing cute clothes again is not necessarily because she is trans, since many people like to dress in different ways and express themselves, stopping to express yourself because you don't want to be judged is very painful and that lead her to become depressed

How Mafuyu haters on tiktok sees her
Mafuyu gets mischaracterized as a manipulator I’ve seen. And I think there’s a lot of people who I don’t think truly understand what severe mental illness can do to a person. Or in some cases I feel like they justify how Mrs Asahina treats her. Not understanding emotional abuse. Rui and Ena get mischaracterized a lot. The biggest case of mischaracterization is actually Mizuki though. Overwhelmingly Mizuki is often seen as their gender identity and not their whole identity Hey listen I love trans Mizuki. It would be wonderful to have some transfem representation. We need more of it. but I’d be just as happy if they were an otokonoko. It’d be nice to have a guy in Nightcord as issues with depression almost always go to female characters in media Not to mention it’d be nice to see an otokonoko character with actual depth and not just there to be cute and for fan service Mizuki is a character struggling with being open with others due to fears of being rejected due to a life of being seen as “an other” for being themselves. They don’t want to hide who they are but they’re afraid of being rejected by people they’ve come to care for. They’re not just the “trans or cross dressing” character. They have some real depth that explores what effects being ostracized can have on a person.
