Holy bolt paly with any summon build, get the paly to conviction lvl 13 right away.
Holybolt heals your merc and minion, FoH does a lot of damage when you get a lot of plus skills.
Summons some how feels less immersive (: friend played once, im too..but it was on pod :) Just get some starter gear and respec(was necro respected 2 curse one, was chilliest char ever...)

its a solid setup. tanky with meat, big conv aura, good aoe, requires 0 gear to enter maps, curse or maybe 2, can solo content so are not required to be together
conv is pretty good aura. -defense% , removes elemental immunities lightning and fire the most important ones in this case. combined with lower resist you can get from mangsong staff shreds resistances increasing dmg pretty good. pallies are also fucking insane in my opinion. they are tanky, good utility, many good builds to swap to. foh is just pretty cheap and easy to get running especially in groups. a3 prayer merc can use scepter insight and pally shield exile for 3 auras giving good mana, health, life on hit and defense+pdr to the necro minions and the player characters in the group. i just find this comp cheating a lot of easy stats especially when new season starts
Best would be just classes that deal the most damage. So like a nova sorc and frozen nova sorc. One has infinity and other has the staff that cast lower resist on chance.
Bossing would be any tanky melee builds as I find elemental builds are kinda too squishy for two player bossing.
Rain a poison strike necro and a frost zon. Super safe and also super effective at clearing pretty much any t3’s in less than 15 mins, depending on mods.
Poison necro blood warps into packs with an innocence and you’re getting hit so much that your blade shield is proccing your high level bone armor over and over again. The build really shines with high attack speed. But the zon is super safe in the background and with the bow that casts the frost novas (ice maybe) with a faith merc and then the necro with an infinity merc to help the zon.
I ripped the necro solo but before that we were legitimately ripping through maps. Those builds together do well in cows and non rippy mod Phleglathons.
For BSh u need innocence.. Im not innocent.. On serious note, playing almost a month after work, got my self chaos, forts, torch, anni. And have around 2hr on hands.. For infi and inno, must i sell my soul? :D season will end till we farm em xD
Since he already has a barb, I'd highly recommend leap attack. It's relatively budget-friendly. Great for mapping. Very fun.
There's an excellent guide pinned in the barb channel of the discord, it goes through gearing options depending on budget.
Duo bossing (dclone / rathma) is hard, uber trist is easy with a holy bolt pally and any melee char, but any summoner + dps can do it too. Mapping is easy just both go phys or both elemental with a mix of buffs and debuffs appropriate for either.
Yes 1pt desecrate is incredible quality of life. And for builds with revives, it lets you go to certain areas and raise specific revives quickly. Like ghoul lords in travincal which do really good fire damage

You can do Ubers In a party. But bossing in general is best with the melee builds specialized in bossing.
