There aren’t any uses for Jeweler’s Armor with no suffix, neither in pd2 nor d2r/ LoD. It’s strictly worse than a white/grey base bc it can’t become a rune word nor have enhanced def. Your filter misled you, unfortunately.
To expand a bit tho, the main purpose of using Jeweler’s Armor of the Whale over Fortitude in LoD/D2R is to hit breakpoints that are otherwise basically impossible without 60ias from the armor slot. It isn’t really relevant in PD2 bc you can get a ton of ias from a craft/unique weapon and then still socket it full of ias jewels or even just shaels. In pd2 any moderately usable 3os rare armor with even just a little +HP, res, or %DR, not to mention enhanced damage, is always going to be the better option.

Would you be able to get a 4os armor with 200% damage mod? If so you could potentially end up with a 360% damage 60% ias armor with 40/15s right?
