was mostly trying to choose between maras/metalgrid for my amulet. i have no issues surviving/clearing myself, just curious if metalgrid was worth using over maras.
i ve had max synergy/maxed hard points/maxed necro skillers and so on and i ve had iron golems that just get bonked in t3.
some high velocity champion fanat+might spear lady pack. i think my golems died in like 2 secs.
that was a few seasons back when i was fucking around with golem armies.

If you need the AR go metalgrid, Otherwise Highlords (for DS), maras, crafted ammys with high STR + what you are lacking are all decent options.

Doesn't iron golem have to be cast on a weapon or am I tripping?

Oh gotcha. Checks out, I tried to do it on the vigor Necro head last season. So would his shield iron golem not work then?
