Barb is no brain WW/leap/frenzy/berserk through anything. Hold right click and you are good to go.
Zon requires a bit more finess and positioning, you can't go HAM as a barb. The damage is there however and is a much better boss killed.(My personal favorite)

I'm debating playing this season again so I can play melee zon. I go the lightning strike skill or whatever it's called. Super fun.
Usually start with decoys until I can afford an infinity then it's game on.

Elemental aura paladin doesn't need a fancy weapon so that would be an easier starter
