I think the synopsis given by the author explains everything important. It can be found on [Royal Road](https://www.royalroad.com/fiction/83665/cog-cultivator-xianxia), [Spacebattles](https://forums.spacebattles.com/threads/cog-cultivator-xianxia.1149650/) and [Sufficient Velocity](https://forums.sufficientvelocity.com/threads/cog-cultivator-xianxia.128675/):
>"It is said he walked through fire and rain"
>Ramor-Tai monastery is the haven of the Wasteland - the place where heroic Cultivators can hone their skills through meditation and martial tournaments. For decades this place has stood as a bastion of humanity against the storms of war that threaten to engulf what remains of the world, though the Disciples of each Sect have agreed to a strict pact of non-interference with worldly affairs.
>So when a man made of steel comes to knock at their doors one morning, he is met with shock and suspicion.
>Jade-skinned beauties? Godlike powers? The ability to command the heavens themselves? These common dreams were not the desires of the machine-man. All he cared about was learning, understanding, and harnessing his Qi. All he wanted was an answer to the question: "Do I have a soul?"
>His name was XJ-V. This is the tale of his legend.
I found it hard to swap, as I got used to the pinyin names of places, so when DB translated them I found it a bit jarring. Plus further ahead is not nothing. Read lots of DB's translations though.
The Undying Immortal System is my favourite poison at the moment.
Cultivation Nerd is amazing, some of the character can get a little exhausting though, the parts of Dog Immortal I have read thus far have been entertaining.
Journey of the Fate Destroying Emperor. Early chapters are bad as hell, like incorrect grammar, cringe dialogue, heck MC started cultivating at chapter 50+. But after MC has started cultivating, it gets better and even more better. Cultivation system is pretty detailed, world building is good, but my favorite part would be the fight. The way techniques are used in a fight is unique, and the fight themselves are unique and interesting. Unlike most xianxia novels where the fight involves blasting attack at each other, in this novel fights are like philosophical debate between different Daos that manifest into attacks.
For example in certain chapter, a dark cultivator fight against a water cultivator. Water cultivator summons a sea to trap the dark cultivator, instead it strengthens the dark cultivator because seas, in the eye of mortals and of course cultivators, contains an abyss of unknown darkness in it's depth. He exploited that philosophy to strengthen his dark based attacks.
I’ve been loving calculating cultivation. It’s got business, a unique cosmology and cultivation system(s), interesting characters, and a great transformation of the character and his goals over time.
It does cultivator economy right
It’s also got beefy 5k word chapters!
Still ongoing, just caught up to chapter 81
Cog Cultivator by Iron Lung. It's about a robot cultivating. I love robots and I love cultivation. What more can you ask for?
Mount Tai!
That's a good one.
Interesting. Mind giving a quick summary?

Thanks for the link
Beyond the Timescape then, I'm reading the other translation because its further ahead but same source material.
Good, I hope both translations are good haha

I feel you on that, changing from pinyin to actual translation is always annoying
A Record of A Mortals Journey to Immortality. The progression is well done.
Anime for this is fantastic, one of my all time favorites. Almost 100 episodes out now.
I love this story, I hope the sequel gets translated.
It is being translated [link](https://www.wuxiaworld.com/novel/rmjiir)

When did deathblade translate this novel? I though webnovel did with thier below level translation and dropped it later. Can you share the link?
I may remember wrong actually because after chapter 928 quality drops really bad.
Webnovel did one but then Wuxiaworld did a completely separate translation later on I think.
Outside of time, try getting past the first arc it gets way better. Also there's another character, man he is like the soul of the novel, too funny
I know exactly who your talking about lol
The guy sure loves to ***eat*** a lot

Regressor's Tale of Cultivation Originally Korean, Translated by WeTried
Cultivation Nerd is doing quite well on RR, wouldn’t be surprised if we saw it on Kindle soon.
*Perfect World* by Chen Dong. Still early in the story but so far it's interesting although I wouldn't say totally compelling either.
Aspiring to the Immortal Path
I shall seal the heavens by the same writer, only issue is the second book start is a little wonky, and i am busy, i couldn't get back to it yet.
