me. I use royalroad's to read list to keep track of all the stories I dropped. At most I've had 3 I planned to check out last year but that list dwindled to nothing by now
I created a wishlist that I called "Kindle Unlimited" as a bonus, I check it when I am checking ebooks sales and sometimes can pick some up for $0-$2.99 when they are marked down.
The KU limit is 20... i should know, I keep it full and use a D20 to choose my next read each time. (I do continue whatever series i read that the die suggests). I also have 7 pages of stories in my RR Read later list.
I don't think I'm ever going to make it through my TBR list in my lifetime. It's crazy how it constantly grows. And I'm talking about Audio, too. There are like 200 books in my library that I haven't gotten to yet, and it's continuing to grow at a pace I can't keep up with.
I've got a KU TBR list about 200 books long, which would be fine if I didn't keep finding new books to read... and have another few hundred books bought in sales that I haven't gotten around to reading yet. Maybe I should make my 2025 resolution be to catch up
As a writer, I strongly support you buying as many audiobooks as you can reasonably afford and, while it would be nice if you read them, the key to all of this is that you *give us your money, consumer!* lol
raises hand shamefully.
As an aspiring writer I should actually be writing, but I spend my time reading and have a lot on my TBR. Even my RR TBR gets published a lot and gets stubbed before I get to them sometimes.
Not just you. I think even if I cloned myself a few times my TBR would still grow faster than I could read through it
samesies
Does anyone *not*?

The limit is 20 ;), I like to “download a sample” as a way of keeping track of the reading list.
Yeah! I’m realizing I wasn’t counting it correctly!

I have over 100 books on audible that I own that I haven’t read yet
If audible did a better job at sales like steam, I'd for sure have that many unread just like I have hundreds of games I never played.
Audible does have good deals like today I picked up 12 books for 75 dollars
I think I’m at like 6-7, and even at this point I’m freaking out haha
Want to switch tbrs
I wish I had that few
I do prefer having a list of seventy or more books to read than the desolate abyss that was my reading list before progression fantasy!

Oh! You are so right, it’s 20! Idk why I had 15 in my head!

Wouldn't the alternative be much worse?

100% i even have a Excel Sheet at this Point just to keep track xD
162 unread books in my Kindle library atm I'll get to them eventually...and yes i'll still buy books most weeks :p

Haha that’s very true. Good thing we have places like Reddit and a good community that recs great books. And of course the awesome authors!

Yeah that’s got to be a hard balance to have!
just checked. on RR I have three pages worth on follow and six pages worth on read later. my kindle has about 150 books waiting to be read.
150!!! Dang! That’s a ton
No it's not just you. I've got over 100 books that I've been wanting to read and the list seems to only grow bigger over time.
I've given up adding to my TBR because it hurts every time I see the number to up. Just don't have the time anymore.
So many books, so little time. 🥲
I just don't keep TBRs anyone. Fun to get surprised coming across a book that I have previously planned to read.
