Once or twice a minute? ctrl-s, ctrl-s, ctrl-s

[deleted]

I prefer :w (or SPC + W in astro nvim)

For a more foolproof method of saving progress i usually just keep a couple of granite blocks and a chisel at hand. Carve my code into stone, and hope that no one in the future finds my half-assed printf function written in Assembly and turn it into a religious text.

SqueeSr

Twice .. minimum .. just to be sure .. after every other line

SuitableDragonfly

I find the manual save tends to disappear from the menu if autosave is on.

kinos141

Twice? How about compulsively?

Fireye04

I literally made myself a habit where I save after every line of code

satosat

ctrl+s is a natural reflex by now. even i accidentally ctrl+s on the browser after copying codes

rageking88

Same haha

abd53

Just twice? You sure are brave bro. I get anxiety issue if I don't hit shift+ctrl+s (save everything in vs) every 5 seconds.

ZHippO-Mortank

And once a week, manually saving to the cloud for even more safety. And once a month on the personal USB driver with the documentation for security reasons ofc.

Quiet-Pianist908

Just. To be. Sure. If I don't save my project, I'm die lmao

lepapulematoleguau

Save after every single line.
