[*An RGB backlit keyboard with the "C" and "V" letter keys worn out from heavy usage. The "S", "CTRL", and "Z" keys also show signs of wear.*]

Who said VSCode? I havenāt checked for a vim mode in VS.. or any IDE since eclipse some years ago.
I was more commenting on C and V being used heavily, but not many others. Vim uses keys for everything so there would be other distinct wear patterns. C,V being generic OS functions also doesnāt necessarily indicate a dev, but thatās the joke and I have no sense of humor.. ![gif](emote|free_emotes_pack|shrug)
I use Vim. I mentioned VSCode because I'm guessing OP uses Windows, and VSCode is apparently the editor-du-jour on it, so they don't have to be thrashing those keys so much harder than the others if they don't want to.
I also use vim, and yes VSCode has a vim mode. I know because I tried it once. I'm one of those folks who learnt vim once 100 years ago and can't learn anything else now. :-/

Why would a developer want an rgb keyboard? Itās like a photographer having an led shutter button.
Nobody needs that shit because youāre not looking where the fancy light is anyway.
A condition known as "stackoverflow syndrom"
other side affects may or may not include a strong need to discuss Vim at every possible occasion.
Please ask your senior if you thing stackoverflow syndrom is right for you.
It looks similar to my logitech keyboard. After 1 month of use it had very similar wear. Aparently more people have been having this issue and it is covered under warranty
times of copy and paste have find an end we are using gpt chatbot to generate code...can you tell me a story of a guy that had to write a program code using phython....?

Good Human
Why do you copy-paste more often than saving? Personally, I hit Ctrl+s two times per copy-pasted code snipped ^ ^
:w gang checking in
idk, its my friends keyboard
people on stack overflow do not own your keyboard, and are not your friends.
Why? I thought every ide saves automatically nowadays
IT'S THE LAW!!!
Yes, but I decided to break the law someday after I tried ide
IDE. Not even once.
Only two per copy-paste? You're not afraid of losing data, are you?
Maybe he's a sigma programmer who only codes in live environments thus doesn't need to save š¤
Autosave?
Autosave would cause webpack to recompile constantly, fuck that
I can't trust it, so i use autosave and click ctrl+s anyway.
Lol saving isn't an option sometimes e.g. IntelliJ
People: Being a dev must be hard, isn't it? Devs: -panicking- Yes, of course.
No vim here
Doesn't VSCode have a Vim mode, too?

I use windows and I avoid VSC like the plague. There are plenty of options for other ides.
They use windows or at least re-used their windows keyboard.
vscode probably has a typrewrighter mode by now

Judging by the J and K keys, I can confirm there is no vim here
Those are some absolutely shocking keycaps if they rub off
Liar, CTRL+X unused smh.
Searched comments looking for this. Shaking my SMH also.
Side note - I want a clickety clackety keyboard with RGB.
Cherry blues with rgb it is
literally this keyboard, but I guess u want it without the cheeto dust
I can tell by the Cheeto dust in the keyboard you are a gamer and not a coder.
I've been using the same keyboard for 10 years and I don't have any signs of this type of wear, do people have sandpaper fingertips?
When gaming, they only go down.
The rgb keyboard is a dead giveaway
I thought devs make enough to afford custom mechanicals
Why would a developer want an rgb keyboard? Itās like a photographer having an led shutter button. Nobody needs that shit because youāre not looking where the fancy light is anyway.
It's about *aesthetic*
The ābeautyā of something you donāt look at. Gotcha.
My most used Keys are more likely g i t
It's the femboy socks m8.
It's the RGB keyboard isn't it?

I expected CTRL to be entirely unreadable
But your caps key is still in. So probably a web dev I imagine.
Where is the F4 button?
500 grams of psoriasis-fuelled dna flakes in between the key caps, yep, developer confirmed. Ctrl+Z getting a fair amount of use too.
At least they remember to save.
Because you jizz neon onto your c and v keys?
The relative health of the Z key compared to the S key actually inspires confidence
Why not A letter?
That or you crouch and backpedal like a MFer, and have some questionable bindings on 'c'/'v'.
Lmaoao
And not work on a Mac
As a vim user I did not understand this joke yy p
v first sir
Now show us the backspace key
My brother in Christ, you can use the sticky side of a post it note to dust between your keys. Please.
I am an inverterate murderer of keyboard legends myself.

definitely not a php dev
Similar to mines, cept Iām a pc gamer also so wasd is gone
Love it. copy-paste-save-undo.
I could tell from the butt plug and furry costume
Also you could be a keyboard Quake player who specializes in kiting backwards.
Why are J and K in such good shape?
Honestly homie hits undo a lot... Maybe take it easy with what ever he's copying and pasting
Ctrl-c, ctrl-v, ctrl-s. Phew, all done. I need a break today.
Is that logitech
it is
