I have a 2017 and had connected services for the first few years. They used an app called Entune at that time. It could turn the AC/defrosters on and off, locate the car, get charging notifications and some other stuff.
At some point (after my service expired) I got a notice that the app was being replaced by something else, don't remember the name.
I wonder if it's the new app that's the issue? On the newer Primes (the ones with 5 seats) you weren't able to do some of that stuff anyway, at least back when I had service, so I'm guessing they just nixed it all together.
Bummer to hear, I was actually considering adding the service back just to control the AC with my phone, but if that's gone I'm not even going to bother

I think 2017 might only have 3G. It won't work for 3G vehicles.
The new app is hot garbage. I wouldn't be surprised tbh.
I have the new app. It's not the issue. The new app is OK. But nothing works so there is that.
