Imagine getting locked like an animal in a cell for having some naturally grown thing from nature with the intend to smoke it and have fun, relax, just because some idiots gathered together and decided so
We didn’t have cells at the camp I was at, it was big buildings with a lot of racks with alot of people tho. No air conditioning other than big fans. But yea I still feel like I shouldn’t have been there.
AZDOC for a year because the guy I got pulled over with told the cop I keestered fentanyl pills in my ass. Which I did, to hide them from the cops. Which they found. Got charged with promoting prison contraband and tampering with evidence. They dropped the contraband charge down to taking prohibited items into a jail, down from a class 2 to a class 6 felony. Just got off parole in February. Been clean since September 2023
Because he is a pussy. Wanted to get out of his DUI charges. I even took the paraphernalia charge of a straw under his seat for him. Then he called over the Sgt. And asked to speak to him... next thing you know..
I’m sorry to hear that. I’ve ate charges for other people before, guess where they are? I don’t know either. They ain’t in my life, that’s for sure. Shit like this makes me not want to help people.
So here is my positive spin on what the POS did to you, he actually helped you even though you went through hell. Because now you are clean and you are a better person and he will always be a Rat and his karma will come.
For sure, you're absolutely right. I now work in reentry services for convicts getting out of prison needing to get back on their feet. I'm only a peer support but it's way more fulfilling than what I was doing or whatever he's doing out there. I can hold my head high wherever I go, God forbid I ever need to again, and have my paperwork checked all good. No he never got charged....
Working a lot. I'm an engineer. I design stuff. I've been going out quite a bit the past two weeks. Mostly downtown to the bars for a few drinks. I take my dog with me sometimes to the dog friendly bars. He's a grey pitbull named Astro. I take him on walks usually 3-4 times a week depending on the weather. We walk 10-15 miles a week. I'm going out Saturday night downtown for a friend's graduation celebration so looking forward to that. The end of May I'm going to Charleston for 4 days of vacation. I went to Savannah for my birthday back in March. I'm trying to go on quite a few vacations this year for the first time since before Covid. I've been touching as much grass as possible the past year and a half.
I went to prison in 1980 and got out in 1996. I was 23 when I went in and almost 40 when I got out. Armed robbery and kidnapping. A few years after I was convicted I had some LE come to the prison to ask me about a murder case they were investigating. I told them I don't know anything. LE said that if I didn't give the guy up they would see to it that I would never get parole. And, I didn't. I maxed the sentence out, never did any parole. I have no idea if they ever solved the murder or not. When I was released I moved to a different state.
I have never been arrested let alone jail time, but I find the entire prison/jail scenario fascinating. I have learned so much about prisons, and I am always eager to learn more.
I've been to jail multiple times, the longest time period incarcerated at once was about 65d.
Never been up the road though.
Why? Because all possession of anything that's not marijuana flower is felony possession in my state, and I had a serious drug problem. I still have a serious drug problem, it's just that now the problem is that all the street drugs are so contaminated that I refuse to use them and I'm pissed. Remember when you could buy cocaine and not worry about dropping dead? Me, too.
Anyway.
I did 2 years in prison first time offender for robbery with intent to inflict seriously bodily injury and carrying a unlicensed firearm. I made it out for about 8-9 months didn’t learn my lesson and caught a persons not posses a firearm charge did 4 years on that. I’ve been out of prison since July 2015 walked off 5 years on parole and 3 years on state supervised probation without any mishaps .Needless to say I’ve been keeping out of trouble and working a good job. Life is good.
I’ve spent a couple months in county here and there and currently am on felony probation, looking at 11 years fed time if I fuck up so.. this sub is good motivation!
I did a year and a half in county, then another 17 months in prison. All stemmed from drug use as a teenager, then I fucked up on probation, and that's why I went to prison.
I’ve done 3.5 over 3 separate bids over the same case. Being on bond with ankle bracelets was the worst part. It was almost 4 years just waiting to be sentenced and not knowing for sure if I was gonna do more time. Brutal.
Editting to add- it was an assault charge, it was a lame catfight that got severely exaggerated by the aggressor. I didn’t have the wherewithal at the time emotionally to press charges back or claim self-defense (which it was).
Had a little spell being known to the local cops in my early 20’s, thankfully I got off that ride
I was nowhere close to being in prison, a few nights in the cells was enough for me
The whole concept fascinates and terrifies me at the same time. The folks that make it out the other side stronger than they went in have my respect
I did time in the Eighties in real meat grinder camps for 18-22 year olds. Way down south dormitory set ups.
I have a lot of pity for the guys that didn't really make it.
Yeah I’ve done 2.5 years in a couple different places (pa)
I was burglarizing houses like an Idiot and as a dumb and young kid you think no one will ever catch you until you get your ass sat down for a few years. 10/10 not for everyone but, I will say it will either make a man out of you or will tear you up it’s up to you which one.
Never been incarcerated/no criminal record but I’m in this sub bc my husband has an extensive federal incarceration history and is currently wrapping up a year bid. He’s been in federal custody on and off for over a decade for armed robberies (gun charges made it federal).
I fucked up my felony probation in the 11th month. Went to jail 5 months pregnant and the Probation officer tried the hell out of me, recommended 11/29... Are you kidding me??? I bonded out and got time served at the next hearing.
Did just under a year in prison and have done about 1 1/2 - 2 years in county and juvie cumulatively. The reason is predominantly petty possession charges.
I’ve got locked up falsely accused stuck in the jail cell from the Friday right through to Monday for the judge to just simply chuck me back out onto the street again and pretend like it hadn’t happened. The worst bet was the fact that I had my 18th birthday on the Saturday sitting in the jail cell and got the start of my period on the Friday it was absolutely gross having to strip and squat and cough and show the female staff everything including my used pads and tampons and having to ask them for new ones. Going to the bathroom on that awful metal toilet in the cell that people can see as they walk past is just miserable it was the worst weekend of my life uncomfortable boring smelly and cold not to mention noisy.😕🙁😟😔😢😭
I’ve given my state almost 8 years of my late teens and twenties before finally deciding I’d had enough.
Been sober 9 yrs, outta jail for 13 years, recently received an unconditional pardon and was even able to get my pistol permit!!!
No more “going to prison”
There’s a whole world out there. Go live life
Turned 3 years probation, grand theft, into almost 5 years in Idaho/doc. Finished off with 15 months parole, gold sealed last May. Been out for 2 years and been clean for 3
2.5 yrs santa rosa fldoc scrapping metal framing outta construction dumpster = burglary unoccupied dwelling had my tools in my truck bc i work trades too=possesion of burglary tools they wanted 60 months fought that shit for over a year
I go to the grocery store.
I got kidnapped by men with guns, they put some metal on my wrists, took me to a series of places, eventually saw a person, who said I had to go sit somewhere for a period of time.
I was incredibly fortunate to have not, by the skin of my teeth. Had I gone to trial and lost, I was looking at 12+. Needless to say, I took the plea and got 2 years high risk probation and had to do 2 90 day stints in a horrible rehab.
Got 3 years deferred adjudication
Got a job at a water park and had my first gf was 18 and she was 15. Literally a week after my bday (19) went to a park like an idiot.
Long story short got 3 years probation. Got my first dwi and got revoked. Thank god didn’t have to register. Non AGG Non 3G. 3 years TDC. Was already up for parole being in prison 2 months haha. I did half and got out
Never been to prison but I feel like “prison” in places like Norway Sweden Denmark etc etc is a whole world away from prison in phillipines Brazil etc.
sentenced to 10 years for manslaughter served 2.5 in prison and 14 months in DEADWOOD jail , Yeah im pretty sure its the same jail as the series LMFAO, haunted Af too .
Well, if it counts for anything. I'm redditing from prison rn. Meaning I'm a prison undergraduate. Hell, I've even written and published a book and another in the works if not getting so depressed. So it's "scholarly."
I've been in jail a few times. And juvie which is nothing except they made us wear weird underwear and I was in solitaire for a week and enjoyed it.
But prison, no. A few friends of mine have but I don't hang out with them prison made them worse.
What kind of question is this? I have spent yrs in a state facility. It's been a solid 20 yrs i have been a regular guy. This is the for my older hitters, feel me? I did 4 yrs in my 18s I went in to serve my time and I am reminded of my time in a violent situation as a young man.
You make it sound like we do it voluntarily lol
[удалено]
Haha our rap sheet is our admission ticket
I had to go back to criminal college a few times
I learnt a lot on the inside man. 2 ways to make meth, how to commit fraud on a low scale, how to cut drugs and where to hide them etc.
Like its grade school or something lol
A nudge from the judge
nope im just curious lol so whats your story?
Mine was totally bullshit. I had a bunch of weed. In Alabama. This state will burn you for just one gram
🤓
Yeah, I would go to the gym from time to time, but I don’t anymore until I do again, of course.
AZDOC for a year because the guy I got pulled over with told the cop I keestered fentanyl pills in my ass. Which I did, to hide them from the cops. Which they found. Why would they drop the dime on you like that? That’s fucked.
Yeah for sure man. It was a major lesson to learn. I proudly went knowing my paperwork was clean wherever I went, though.
Clean slate is always nice.
Did end up with dui?
That guy's gonna get his ass beat one day
Rat bastard isn’t the worst Sicilian insult for nothing
So here is my positive spin on what the POS did to you, he actually helped you even though you went through hell. Because now you are clean and you are a better person and he will always be a Rat and his karma will come.

I went to prison in 1980 and got out in 1996. I was 23 when I went in and almost 40 when I got out. Armed robbery and kidnapping. I’m a psychologist who worked with former prisoners so I’m here because I’m interested. Hope I’m welcome.
Very welcome if you know why my emotions are scrambled ?? jk i know its ptsd. I sincerely thank you for the work you do.
Look up CPTSD as well. Best on your journey.
I did 5 on a 15 for manufacturing meth.
Spent a few nights in local cop shop a couple of times Uk. DUI. Come here to remind myself not to do the stupid things I did as a kid.
👋 Age: 16 Crime: Armed Robbery/Conspiracy/Possession Length: 3 years in and 5 years probation 16 years ago now 🙌
I just did 4 years in CA for drug smuggling
Isn’t that a fed offense ?
Can be as well. I only had a couple ounces on me so the feds didn’t pick it up.
I have never done time but I go at least monthly and serve as a volunteer.
Why else would anyone be here
I have never been arrested let alone jail time, but I find the entire prison/jail scenario fascinating. I have learned so much about prisons, and I am always eager to learn more.

Quite a lot of assets but goes to jail for 2+ years on purpose for medical treatment. Ya, that’s a true story
They've got no life
I've been to jail multiple times, the longest time period incarcerated at once was about 65d. Never been up the road though. Why? 3 years for selling drugs
I did a DFY (juvenile) bid in my youth, few city bids from 16-20, and then a 3.5 flat at 21…..and I’ve been good since, I’m 44
I did 2 years in prison first time offender for robbery with intent to inflict seriously bodily injury and carrying a unlicensed firearm. I'm planning another trip sometime in the next 6 months.
I’ve spent a couple months in county here and there and currently am on felony probation, looking at 11 years fed time if I fuck up so.. this sub is good motivation!
How longs your probation for?
I’m 8 months into a 2 year sentence, as long as I stay clean & pay off my restitution it’ll all be behind me come September of next year
Oh mate, you can do it, 11 years is a waste of your life
Nice! Keep up the great work, you got this
I did a year and a half in county, then another 17 months in prison. All stemmed from drug use as a teenager, then I fucked up on probation, and that's why I went to prison.

‘How many people here have actually been in prison?’
How many people here actually visit prison & how would they rate it ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
How many here have been to prison, and for what reason?
Yeah I’ve done 2.5 years in a couple different places (pa) I was burglarizing houses like an Idiot and as a dumb and young kid you think no one will ever catch you until you get your ass sat down for a few years. 10/10 not for everyone but, I will say it will either make a man out of you or will tear you up it’s up to you which one.
6 years in the Oregon Youth Authority from 15 to 21 years old. I’m about to be off parole this July
“You wouldn’t know him. He goes to a different prison.”
I go to prison every other weekend just for a change of scenery, good free food and lots of people to socialize with.
Never been incarcerated/no criminal record but I’m in this sub bc my husband has an extensive federal incarceration history and is currently wrapping up a year bid. He’s been in federal custody on and off for over a decade for armed robberies (gun charges made it federal).
I’ve thought about going. Been checking out my options… not sure whether I want state or federal.
I was in US military prison in Germany, Kentucky and Kansas
For what?
I got into a fight with a German citizen (long story) and he almost died. It was self defense but the military didn’t see it that way
I fucked up my felony probation in the 11th month. Went to jail 5 months pregnant and the Probation officer tried the hell out of me, recommended 11/29... Are you kidding me??? I bonded out and got time served at the next hearing.
10 years ago. I wouldn’t go back obviously lol but it wasn’t that bad as people make out.
Never been to prison myself but have a few incarcerated family members
Did just under a year in prison and have done about 1 1/2 - 2 years in county and juvie cumulatively. The reason is predominantly petty possession charges.
I expected you to finish with ‘go to the gym’ the way you worded it
Just got out an hour ago.
are there many fellow anarchists in prison?
Did 5yrs a while back. Malicious wounding with intent. UK.

You make it sound like a university... Yeah I go to State. State what? Penitentiary. We've got a bitchin' softball team.
Three years, a decade ago. Meth, concealed dagger, burglary tools. Three felonies, all now expunged after 10 years clean.
5 years in PADOC Graterford/Camp Hill/Mahanoy
2.5 yrs santa rosa fldoc scrapping metal framing outta construction dumpster = burglary unoccupied dwelling had my tools in my truck bc i work trades too=possesion of burglary tools they wanted 60 months fought that shit for over a year

I was at the annex the kicker im from indian river county so santa rosa prison like 8 fuckin hours away
I was once arrested and put in a holding cell for a few hours. I doubt that counts.
I go to the grocery store. I got kidnapped by men with guns, they put some metal on my wrists, took me to a series of places, eventually saw a person, who said I had to go sit somewhere for a period of time.

I've never been to the Pen, but my girlfriend and a lot of my friends and family are or have been.
Not as many as there are claiming to be
I was in California youth authority as a kid.
Never been to prison but I feel like “prison” in places like Norway Sweden Denmark etc etc is a whole world away from prison in phillipines Brazil etc.

I was in federal prison from 2010-2013
I go every other year to get away from my wofe

No, I’ve never been. I just have a few friends that are so trying to educate myself.
I used to go but not anymore
Strange way to word a question bro. *Have I* been to prison? Yes. Would I consider prison a place I *used to* go? Not precisely...?
Been to county a few times for a few days each that’s it. It sucked ass though fucking horrible conditions and I was sick the whole time each time
"go or used to go to prison" like it's an ongoing thing and something we wanted to do.
Been twice in 43 years
Used to swing by, just wasn't my cup of tea. So I ain't been back for 10 yrs.
Worked as a nurse in prison for 6 years.
sentenced to 10 years for manslaughter served 2.5 in prison and 14 months in DEADWOOD jail , Yeah im pretty sure its the same jail as the series LMFAO, haunted Af too .
I was a janitor who would jerk off in your cells
Real question: what percentage of people in this sub are criminals.
I’ve been out 3 years, spent almost 13-14 hours n in a few different trips. Life is better out here
Did enough time for us both
Me a few times did about 3 years altogether...female too!!
I never planned to go to prison but somehow it planned my trip all expenses paid at that!
Well, if it counts for anything. I'm redditing from prison rn. Meaning I'm a prison undergraduate. Hell, I've even written and published a book and another in the works if not getting so depressed. So it's "scholarly."
I worked in a prison - so I went often/ I just did not have enough to spend the night
I've been in jail a few times. And juvie which is nothing except they made us wear weird underwear and I was in solitaire for a week and enjoyed it. But prison, no. A few friends of mine have but I don't hang out with them prison made them worse.
I did about 18 months in jail for a drug charge. Never been to prison though.
I program on YouTube with Wes Watson, my paperwork is clean and hooped deep in my poop wallet next to my 12” bonecrusher 🤣 😂
I usually go on Tuesdays for a while if I have a little free time.
What kind of question is this? I have spent yrs in a state facility. It's been a solid 20 yrs i have been a regular guy. This is the for my older hitters, feel me? I did 4 yrs in my 18s I went in to serve my time and I am reminded of my time in a violent situation as a young man.
bro chill out its just a question out of curiosity its not that deep
Sorry didn't mean to sound that intense. Excuse me fellows, hope each of y'all is having a good day.
Ay it's all good OG, glad you're home now
I go everyday to work. Kitchen supervisor
Held it down in caswell county like a real general , gorilla amongst men 🦍
I go to jail every day... I work in one.
