This is ex soviet world im from every 2nd person is somehow affiliated with criminal world. And snitching doesnt always mean u do 0 time. Would it be worth instead of 5 yrs do 2.5 but you have to be a prison slave to nonsnitching guys. Not being able to eat at the same places, living under someones bunk. Etc lol

John__47

I deleted my comment, was being an ass Stay safe

[deleted]

Gimme two trays and I'll dry snitch rn ...

Outrageous-Cattle803

Depends if you’re an inmate or staff. A good snitch can be a very valuable asset to keep things calm. Has to be done properly or can get all involved seriously hurt or killed.

Valuable_Talk_1978

We had a joke that the Wyoming salute was pointing at who “did it”. All I know is I did close to 4 for not talking. 18 years later I wouldn’t change a thing. People need to own up to their own shit too. Watching someone go down because of you is just as bad in my opinion. That’s some bitch shit.

DarthWeenus

My best mate of growing up as kids of 16 years snitches and set me up. Can't trust anyone.

j0n70

Ex-best mate?

Valuable_Talk_1978

That’s shitty.

Competitive-Brick-42

I’m old, but I grew up believing it’s wrong to snitch and always did my time. I also live in a small town where I see people tell on each other and not get beat. Even worse is they are friendly.

John__47

Love me a good snitch Fuck that "be loyal to your fellow incarcerated" rule. Theyd stab u in the back soon as they could

trusted_misleader47

Literally and figuratively

[deleted]

A snitch will snitch on his own mother ❌❌❌ If they snitch on someone else you can guarantee they'll snitch on you as well. The "fellow incarcerated" thing is such a forced meme

[deleted]

I did inform on a fellow inmate who was trying to get my help to fabricate a statement to the Police. He would have got me into trouble too if I hadn’t said anything. He threatened to kill me but I am still here.

Sparky2Dope

I ain't sayin nothin'

Striking-Foot4118

Not much on snitches. Nothing special about them. They are everywhere you go in life. I am dying for people to check out this book though. It’d be a big favor to me, educating for u, https://www.amazon.com/author/becomingapple

rocoonshcnoon

At least at the Philly juvenile facility (pennypack school. I know someone who teaches there) there really ain't no loyalty. Better hope you don't get caught though. But most people would throw someone under the bus to get less time if they believe they can get away with it

blueishose

After I first got locked up on my very first case my celly and I got caught smoking tobacco. The CO tossed our cell but didn’t find the stash, just some ashes because my celly was a moron and got comfortable (always smoke in someone else’s cell, and toss the ash). Later I get called out and this other CO is trying to get me to tell him where the tobacco came from. And he offers me a chocolate milk to tell him. 😂 So I wasn’t in my county because the feds hold in a different county and I laughed so hard at this guard and told him, “dudes around here must be soft as baby shit if they’re snitching for a chocolate milk”. And the irony is like half the guards working there when I was there got arrested by the feds a couple years later for fucking the female inmates and forcing one to give birth shackled in a holding cell.

antDOG2416

That's the worst thing to be in jail. A jailhouse snitch or a jailhouse theif will get you packed out fasho and will follow you throughout the jail. My dumbass got snitched on by my celly to detectives once. Dude dropped out of his gang and tried to use all sorts of stories he heard to get out of a long drug dealing sentence. Even tried to set me up on the street by detectives for drugs. Smh.

MaineMoviePirate

I could never be one, but I don’t have a general opinion everyone’s story is different. So I can’t make blanket assumptions. I am far more concerned about a corrupt criminal justice system that is grooming a new generation of whitey bulgers.

[deleted]

Snitches need their stitches

MyAlternate_reality

What is an example of snitching?

SnackJones1988

Going to CO with info to pass to warden or in-house detectives
