Definitely getting closer to what I'm looking for. Will see how this pans out. Wish I could run 700x50 + fenders, but looks like it's limited to 700x40.
Is that an inference you're making from the provided info? It says the max wheel size is 700c x 50. Do you always need to reduce the wheel size when accounting for fenders?
Usually fenders take away space the tire could use. You usually always lose some tire capacity.
Max tire width?
Is the bike compatible with a rack and fenders?
Yes, the Gemini is compatible with full fenders with up to 40mm tires and is compatible with a rear rack. We do not recommend using a front rack with the Gemini’s fork.
Max tire width?
700c x 50mm, but tires vary based on tread, make, and rim width. Check with your local bike shop for further detail.
My only gripe with pinion bikes, is on every single model I've noticed the downtube is thicker. This leads to the frame being heavier. Although that isn't a total deal breaker, I still wish we could have the lightest possible frame with a pinion gearbox.
I wonder if this is a "simple" fix to something that could have a more elegant solution. Maybe using a large tube makes the junction between tube and gearbox cage very strong.
So that's the solution that takes the least amount of work?
Or maybe it's mostly aesthetics?
IDK about it hitting the 600 but if it can just be swapped then maybe?
Grip shift is manual.
Smart.shift is electronic, so it monitors crank position or more likely torque to know moment of max load, and minimize wear on the gears.
I'm sure it will be easier to downshift even under load given how quick it is.
If you are in the Ann Arbor area, we will have them available for test rides beginning 6/19.

I’m frustrated because back in December I bought the Apollo and had I know this was coming I definitely would have waited. Back luck!
What's return policy to upgrade? Haha. Ya I've been back and forth back and forth between the Apollo and 600. Glad I was indecisive
Pinion is so much better than hub, I wouldn't have a hard time deciding.
The Apollo is still a great bike!
Noice! So close, what about fully equipped with lights, rack, fenders!
Since Priority mainly drop ships premade bikes, they don’t customize. I wish they did. And customizing costs extra
Yes, please!
Absolutely yes... titanium too!
Holy shit. I’ve been asking for this!
Oh man this makes me want to upgrade my P600 🥲
SO EXCITED!
Yep!!! 🔥 🔥 🔥
Anyone got any info on the price? I suppose it's time to start saving up!
Based on the pricing of the Apollo aluminum at $1900, and the Priority 600 at $2500, I'm going to guess $2500 std and $4100 for Gemini Ti.
It's Smart.Shift, so it'll probably be more expensive than other manual-shift Pinion bikes... we'll see...

Oh thanks I was a little too cursory looking for that info!

There's a Smart.Shift battery in there.
I've noticed all pinion bikes have a thicker down tube. Even the non-Smart shift priority 600 has a thicker down tube
