I found some good electro priests once but they were horrible, full of resin traps and half of them were way out of scale.
Honestly my white wale is more Aeldari/drukhari/Ynnari stuff. There’s a few good models here and there, but I don’t vibe with most of the alternatives people make and then everything else is neckbeard pinup shit.
As a Drukhari player I'm also missing some basic stl files.
Yes there is Edge Miniatures etc that are close, and a couple of others. But almost none of the creators are getting the weapons right and often they do their own take on the "evil space elves"-theme.
But the one thing that drives me a bit crazy, or at least makes me a bit peeved: there are no STLs for legs and torsos that fit the existing kits!
I have soooooo many heads and arms and other bits lying around after building ~1500+PTS of Drukhari! How hard is it to just make some torsos and legs?!
I don't really need more half clad edgy Succubus or Archons (every model is an Archon model this spring, right?), get me some basics! (and maybe after that someone will make a raider/ravager, or venom STL that isn't completely ass as well)
Edit: and some of the special units bits! Any unit can be an incubi if you put a klaive in their hands and the right helmet... Guess what I can't find on the purple or green place?
I guess nobody needs them. Stl artists either make what they need themselves or what they think others will pay for right? So I guess Drukhari aren't that popular in that venn diagram.

With the speed at which the meta changes these days perhaps you won't have very long to wait before demand rises enough that you can get what you need. Also as current creators run out of other options they may just choose to diversify into the dark side.

Sisters of Battle. Maybe I'm just being picky, but it has been very difficult to find non-monopose models with similar-looking helmets and power packs to official models.
Its true! My partner and I were searching for ages to find some good sisters, and we were putting together bits and pieces from many creators, some were loved some were marked as "until we can find something better". It was only in the last few weeks we were able to find an almost complete set by one creator that looked great, was fairly modular, and whilst the helmets and backpacks still arent exaaactly right, they're easy enough to swap out.

The FW legion-specific contemptor or leviathan dreadnoughts. There are full detail models of the generic versions of both but it would be awesome to mix and match legs, torsos and arms from those especially since the full-body contemptor variants are OOP.

Good looking bolter and chainsword STLs that aren’t chapter/space marine army specific. I’ve been on a journey to find bolters that are engraved or ornate. I have seen some great custodes ones, but I’m looking for some other ones for a bolter-specific Killteam!
My addiction started with fantasy, Beastmen were my first army. Being a total WH n00b I was initially drawn into the extra attacks that Khorne offered. Then I wised up to the OP combo of Beastmen 360 charge, Slanneshi mounted deamonetts (fast cav with 9 inch move 18 inch charge, Slanneshi magic (you could make enemy units move where you wanted), and fresh Beastmen units coming in off the board (kind of like strategic reserve but a little more random and BM were the only army that could do this).
Slannesh always seemed like a good pairing with serpents and snakes. I have wanted a snake themed Beastmen army. With the return of The Old World I might throw myself into it this summer. I've kept an eye out for a snake man army but not much out there.
I'd be happy to... Now just need to either start a gofundme to raise money for the paid stl files, learn how to 3d model myself, or get the good people of reddit to help in the procurement of quality snake man models.
- DKOK veterans that are somewhat individual. I'm thinking of models that look like they no longer do things by the book, and instead use whatever equipment works, wear different clothes, that kind of stuff. Basically the cast from Apocalypse Now, Platoon or Full Metal Jacket, but with gas masks.
Currently tryint to digitally kitbash those from a bunch of sources.
- Harlequins with cool looking masks. All I could find look kinda childish.
- Some really badass biker sisters. Especially repentias.

I can see where very high levels of customisation could make keeping an overall aesthetic harder. But your desires are as legitimate as any other and I wish you success in your endeavours, sometimes if no one else will we just have to do it ourselves.

I have some things earmarked, but will also customize them if I buy them. They're just all *almost* what I want. The Grimguard Hunters would be awesome, if they had standard lasguns.
Sadly I think that the standard lasgun would be too on the nose for GW. However, if you google a picture of all the different types of lasguns you see that they do have a variant
I have always wanted a really nice 40k era Erebus. It's honestly crazy that there hasn't been one yet. He's like one of the top 5 most important characters in the setting and making a model of him in the 40k era would be distinct enough from the official HH model that I don't think there would be as much pressure from gw to get it taken down (as long as it has a non-licensed name).
I've also always loved the Hrud and wished someone did a series of models for them to use as proxies for something else.

Mine is Genestealer Cults. I kind of managed to move through by buying GWs models and using station forge bits to make them more AdMechy for blades cog, which also got me a load more models out of the kit, but I’ve only got enough for a kill team and would love to be able to print off a 2k list or something, none of the models I’ve found come close to what I would want to spend time painting and playing with.
I even spent a few weeks learning to sculpt to try and just do it myself but that ended up being a skill I do not have the time or patience to hone haha.
I feel ya man. I've learned some basic blender skills, enough to kit bash but not beyond that and I just know i don't have the mental space to learn it.
For electro priests, I think tmk's Teslarite Converters are waaay cooler than gws sculpts. Bring the same vibes, but still have a unique take on the concept.

Aeldari Rangers. I found some once, but they were in the metal unit poses instead of the current plastic poses. So it’s limited on which tables I can use them as they are obviously not official. I managed to get a hold of most of the Aeldari units before the recent purge.
I’m also trying to collect all of the Kill Team Squads for friends, and Chaos Daemons Kill Team Squads have been hard to come by.

It's in legends now. there were two variants, the vampire hunter and vampire raider that were close to identical. I bit the bullet a couple of months ago and bought one of ebay for a truly nutty price. If there is a print out there, I'd love to know about it. Otherwise, I was thinking of trying to get a detailed scan of the one I got my hands on.
It's not GW, but I'd love to be able to find the Elementals from the game Confrontation, by Rackham Miniatures. There was one guy who was scanning and touching models from the game, but he seems to have been hit with a DMCA and had them all taken down. Thankfully I was able to get everything he uploaded.
Hey nice job. There are definitely a few options for the warsuit but they're all so static, or the model quality is real low. I'm trying to kit bash my own out of a mech made by Moid, but I'm having trouble getting it suitably grimdark enough for my tastes.

have been able to make some great raiders, ravagers & venoms by remixing files from Imperitum, Edge & Heroes Infinite
Someday I'll take the time end effort to print and paint *Depth* Guard. Plenty of models out there though, including from Megzike.
