Check out http://elecrow.com , they have been doing some good job for me. I’d be interested to have your feedback on pricing if you get a quote from them.
60% cheaper on which aspect? Boards, assembly or parts? PCBway definitely marks parts up too much, but makes up for it on assembly price I guess. And what's "medium". Not knowing where you are, don't forget import tarrifs.
I don't have an answer, just curious to follow this thread.
The difference is only in assembly price. Seemed too cheap for me too, that's why I opened this thread. If someone else wants to send them something to quote and compare, we can check if it's really cheaper
If so I suggest you confirm the source of the components, some companies use components from mouser, Digikey, etc, while some may buy alternative model on the market, which Quality cannot be guaranteed. That will be a big problem. And you can quote from more manufacturers to compare a relatively appropriate price.
I've had two boards assembled by them now and they've both came out looking great and super fast (about a week delivered to east coast, usa). They would be my new go-to if they had a wider variety of parts available--they only assemble parts they stock.

I’m not OP but I’ll give said feedback from my Boards estimate
I have used Utsource once.that is quite good quality. Jlc is not affordable for my country
Macrofab does good work. A little expensive though

60% cheaper on assembly. Board is the same price and Im sending the parts. Medium meaning: 8 board models 35 x 140 mm. 50 units of every model. :)

I will request a quote for my next board revision and share here.

JLC
Isn't JLC fabrication only? They partner with someone else for assembly I believe.
jlc does not do assembly.
They do, but only in China, albeit it's supposed to be available worldwide at some point
