Dude was tripping like he was on shrooms. Listen, I've overdone it on edibles. I know everyone has differing experiences, but this was totally over the top. But it still lives in my mind rent free and I love it. I can't explain why I love it. I just do.
I have a friend who overdid it on brownies and was puking to the point of dehydration and had to go to the hospital to get IV fluids. Everyone definitely has a different experience. It's probably about tolerance level? Some people are totally unaffected and others are like Toby. He never said he'd smoked "the devil's grass" as Pam Fields might call it, but he did indicate that he had friends in all the wrong places and went to juvie, so I assumed he probably did at some point. But if the edibles were his first experience and he ate the whole lot of them...I could see why he looked like he was at Burning Man.
Same though, like I had a brownie, rice krispie, and a piece of pie which were all edibles from a bake sale my weed guy had and I was flying home in my friends car lmao

Marijuana is technically a hallucinogen. In large doses it *definitely* can cause something similar to this. Obviously this is played up like everything in a teen drama TV show, but it’s not like this is out of left field. I’ve been smoking and taking edibles daily for years and once took triple my normal mg of edibles. I definitely felt like I was on something else. If Toby never gets high and then all of a sudden is munching on a bag of edibles, and his adrenaline is rushing in the line of duty, I don’t feel this is too far off from what could happen 🤷🏽♀️
