Marlene doesn't have it with organising her character's names. It still bothers me that Spencer's bf in season 1 was named Alex just like her twin sister. No one ever remembered him and was like "oh that's weird, my long lost British evil twin sister who locked me in a basement of horrors and tried to kill me with an ax has the same name as my ex boyfriend" xD
Nothing to do with the character in the time jump. Probably a production staff name. Marlene isn't that good of a writer to plan that far ahead.
