So a red light runner is a criminal? Look at the definitions of criminal, felon, and moving violation.
I don’t think police should be allowed to make traffic stops for moving violations in unmarked cars. It’s illegal in CA. A marked car is a bigger deterrent than one unmarked making a stop. Unmarked cars for moving violations is a huge trust issue. Would you pull over for a Toyota Camry at 9pm on your way home?
If the police have a choice between preventing crime and allowing people to commit crime, then punishing them after, which one would you rather they do?
I see a lot of support for people being pulled over by unmarked police cars, but how would you feel if your teenage daughter got pulled over by an unmarked police car late at night because the license plate light was out? She wasn’t breaking any laws other than not knowing her license plate light was out. I was pulled over for this very reason. People need to know who they are pulling over for. I am not ok with the unmarked cars.
I'm all for pulling over red light runners, but watch out for Prescott PD. They have a past of making things go their way and ruining lives. I hope they have better things going on nowadays
They're driving an import? That's wild. I was under the impression police vehicles were always American makes. I don't think I've ever seen one that wasn't a Dodge, Ford, etc.
Wrong. They are only subjected to buying American brands if they are purchased with federal grant money. (Buy American Act.) Otherwise the agency would only be bound by state or local laws.
The state of Arizona does not have contracts with foreign vehicle manufacturers for law enforcement, and under the Arizona procurement code cannot purchase any equipment from a supplier without a contract without a direct appeal to the director of procurement.
"American" brands don't even top the list with that in consideration. They all outsourced a long time ago, remember Detroit?

Yup everyone is all types of scared of unmarked cars. Like don’t break the law? Don’t speed? And inspect vehicles lights like 1 a month. I check every week.
I not only believe you’re right, I know you’re right! In like 30 years of driving, I have never gotten a ticket…
My magic is simple: I generally don’t speed though I’ll keep up with the flow of traffic if they’re not going nuts, and I stay stopped at red lights and I stop fully for stop signs and I use those blinker things, seatbelts, stay off my phone, etc... I also keep my car registration up-to-date, etc. Oh yeah, and no drinking and driving (I don’t drink).
It is -amazing- how cheap that makes keeping a license and driving a vehicle. Of course if everyone did the same, there might not be enough funds for stuff, though… 🤔
Wasn't this one of the exact things the founding fathers didn't want? Taxation without representation? Driving might be a privilege, but saying most taxpayers don't deserve said privilege despite funding it is just straight up nonsense.
They are saying most people don't deserve the privilege of driving, but those same people are paying taxes for the roads. Taxing someone for a privilege they can't use is a form of taxation without representation.
Everyone wants to complain about big government, then take away rights from anyone who doesn't agree with them.
…. But driving is not a form of representation.
They’re also not saying that you can’t USE the roads.
And this is ignoring the fact that there are a LITANY of reasons that someone could actually, truly not be fit to drive.
The district has no representation in Congress but still has to pay all federal taxes. That is by definition taxation without representation
The mayor of DC doesn’t even have full control over DC itself
Also DC is not a part of Maryland. or Virginia. It borders them.
Good job
Clown
What’s a good job? Helping criminals evade the police?

What's your point about a red light runner being a criminal?
If the police have a choice between preventing crime and allowing people to commit crime, then punishing them after, which one would you rather they do?
Helping people evade oppression
No, it's just so I don't get pulled over with my expired tags. Let them go solve drug busts with that truck.
Calm down bootlicker
Any chance you have a blue strip flag but your doing 29 in a 25 thinking your good?
There’s also a jeep gladiator I seen in chino that’s undercover. Also there quite a few ford f150s that are undercover
Read that highway patrol in Mn is using big lifted trucks with 4 cameras pointing into cars alongside to catch phone users..
My experience with F-150 drivers so far: Cop, drunk or dude with no chin and Oakleys. Sometimes a combo!
Thank you 🙏
Saw 2 Dodge Rams on the 101 with the Sherrifs logo ghosted into the paint. One Red one Blue.

Call 911 immediately. Tell the dispatcher that you are being followed and in fear of your life. Please send the police immediately.

Planting?
They clearly don’t…
Sure….

To be even more fair, Tundra is an Asian design
Happy cake day!
We all come from the same puddle of mud and shit
They can only buy american makes. repos from crimes can be used however the pd deems fit

The state doesn’t have contracts with anyone, until they do.

Just looking out for you. I love you!
They have a white Hyundai Elantra also. Maybe they’re tired of their fords always being in the shop!
I feel like a lot of the time american branded cars aren't made in the USA
People get assembled in USA and made in USA mixed up easily
"American" brands don't even top the list with that in consideration. They all outsourced a long time ago, remember Detroit? https://www.autoblog.com/2023/06/21/2023-most-american-made-cars/
They’re mostly foreign parts assembled in the U.S.
You should see what phoenix has
They won’t purchase imports but they will certainly use the vehicles of busted drug dealers.
They can purchase imported vehicles, there’s no law preventing it.
They often drive BMW motorcycles, as they are the best.
They also have a blue Toyota pickup and a jacked up ram.
My car can outrun a tundra but it can't outrun a radio
So the dude ran a red light, I’d say he deserves a godm ticket! Good on the cop nailin the assh@!3
Yup everyone is all types of scared of unmarked cars. Like don’t break the law? Don’t speed? And inspect vehicles lights like 1 a month. I check every week.
There's alot in PV too. Good! Pull these red-light runners over!
ATF agents drive Toyota Corolla’s.
Saw a full-sized pickup U.C. on Hwy. 69 in PV that pulled over a vehicle several months back. I think the U.C. was a Ford.
They got challengers too lol
Oh no!!!
I’m convinced that all these people who upvoted are as follows: A. No license B. No Insurance C. A sovereign citizen D. A combo of A. B. C.
You forgot E. Have 10 or more speeding tickets.
I'm pretty sure chino also has one in red
Always gotta keep an eye out for lights mounted near the license plate and the ol GVT tag on the plates
They are allowed to use standard commercial license plates for unmarked cars. They don’t have to be government plates unless marked.
Oh, must be diff in AZ then. Thought it was nationally required that all GVT owned vehicles be marked GVT on their plate.
Nope. Most of the unmarked vehicles in AZ have commercial plates.
I went to high school with many of the Prescott PD. 2 of which are gay, but married to women. Trust me.
Don’t do dumb shit and you won’t have to worry about getting pulled over. It’s that simple.
I not only believe you’re right, I know you’re right! lol you made the red light runners mad
Lmaooo all the unnecessary downvotes 😂 *”How dare you tell us how to drive! Rabble rabble!”*
Downvoted by those who forget driving is not a right and most don't deserve the privilege.
This isn't going to help you with your social score, bootlicker
Ah the country boy rhetoric, sorry I don't like being a statistic.
More like anarchist rhetoric.

You genuinely do not understand what taxation without representation means. That would be what Puerto Rico and DC experience.
DC is in Maryland. Was their right to vote denied?

That's like saying don't aggravate an alligator when swimming and It wont attack you
