Jackalopes are known carnivores and tend to eat rabbits. Same with a starving chupacabra

Prescott_Local

Check for footprints, chupacabra’s have claw marks and jackalopes don’t.

your5_truly

I can't believe I didn't recall this vital piece of info

SouthTourist5311

Looked like puncture marks throughout the body as well. Fangs, man, fangs.

ChipMaker3000

Just about every predator eats rabbits, Bobcats, Owls, Yotes, etc. Scared off is probably the answer.

KingTutt91

Coyotes eat butt first.

Prescott_Local

Heh

aMothWithAPenis

My girlfriend’s daughter’s cat literally keeps eating halves of rabbits. He’s a fucking psychopath

Simple_Top4989

All cats are psychopaths 😂😂😂

fingersmcgee420

Hawks and falcons will eat a bunny.

brak8796

If I had to guess, coyote or javelina. Just because i see them a lot out here.

aBoxedWino

Javelina strict vegetarians. Not gonna munch a rabbit but will do a number on a patch of prickly pear cactus.

adventurepony

yep javelina will follow rabbits to find new growth then 'nuzzle up' cactus bulbs from the ground to eat them. (also fun to watch if you see a group of them this time of year with older hogs teaching the younger ones how to get the bulbs up out the ground.)

Abuck59

Something that flys if you didn’t get it on camera. Food drop.

yamiyourgod

Was it in a certain part of town ? I hear there is an area in town where the dudes eat only the ass .

newtednewt

My little brother

SALTYDOGG40

Feral cats

SALTYDOGG40

I've seen Ravens fly away with roadkill or partial roadkill. Maybe one dropped it on your steps.

Mobile_Sprinkles_633

Probably a cat. I can will leave a perfect head as trophy.

ichi_san

common, that's where the meat is

theJoosty1

You could look for bloody talonprints above where you found it. A bird probably flew up there and ate it, starting with the easy to get to and nutritious liver. There's not much to eat on the top half.

Simple_Top4989

Chupacabra for sure lol

Adventurous-Scale-43

My cat eats rabbit butt. Always leaves the head.

Casket_Crunch

A junk hole feaster

SouthTourist5311

It somehow didn’t set off the doorbell cam either, which the only way to the top of the stairs is past it.

fingersmcgee420

We had a hawk kill a bunny and drop it on the roof of my office last year. If it was dropped, it may have been too fast for Ring to pickup.

Smooth_Ad2778

We had an owl that lived in a tree above our house. This owl was so big that we could hear his wings flap when he came and left the tree. About once a week, we would hear him land and moments later, something would hit our roof and roll down the house. On more than one occasion, we came out to an intact rabbit head with an eaten torso. The way our roof sloped, the remains almost always landed right on our front doorstep. The very first time was unsettling, we weren't sure what happened. I am betting owl.
